A Healers Journey

Lift me up, pull me out, take my hand in yours so that I may regrow. Heal my darkest days and shine your light so bright that it’s unignorable. Bless this heart, bless this soul so that I am able to shine my own light to help guide the ways for others, make me the lighthouse for those who need it, take these broken wings and mend them back together if they are in need of repair, bless my road ahead and walk with me as I navigate, talk with me like a friend, excited to tell me about their adventures and all the things waiting to be discovered.

Be my shield when we’re faced with harmful adversities, guide my way safetly always, walk alongside me as we help to heal the broken and the lost, take this load from my back so that I may breathe in the air of relief knowing that I can rest up continuing the rest of my journey and as I rest, be my lookout and protector so that I may recharge easily without worry. If I am to cry any tears, may you comfort me in times of need, calm my heart, my mind and soul so that I know that all is well and okay, that this road, this journey although it may be tough, you will always be there every step of the way.

I know that I am not perfect, that I have my flaws the same way that everyone else does. I have my self doubts, my worries, my stresses and I have moments of weaknesses just like everyone else. No one always takes the best routes while they are walking their path, some of us hit deads ends, some us get lost and have to find their way back and others may do worst causes, sometimes it feels like you will never get back to where you once started.

That you’re just going to be lost…..this life sure ain’t an easy one, you get kicked down, stepped on, laughed at, judged and sometimes you’re on the ground waay longer than you want to be or what you care to admit, the choices we make may come with either reward and consequences. We don’t always make the right choices, although we don’t always know what the right choices are, but we do have an inner compass that tells when we are where we want to be or need to be, by feeling, sometimes however the feelings can get a little blurred and you end up stuck in the middle of this turmoil you yourself created, all because things got too overwhelming, instead of just trusting that you were always okay.

Turmoils can really do a number on you if you allow it to take too much of a hold and if you’re someone that spirals out of control when super under pressure, you will say thing that you really don’t mean and that you wish you could take back. You’ll do things that you wish you hadn’t done and you might end up making this HUGE mess or that you feel is a huge mess, some stuff isn’t as big as it seems, but then it ends being big because our minds made it a big deal.

The mind is a complex thing, it can be your friend if you let it or it can be a big bully if you allow it. We’re constantly being told we are not our thoughts, what we think we become and the truth of the matter is, those saying are true, because when you believe in yourself beautiful things can happen, when you constantly see yourself as the worst person ever, your inviting those ruminating negative energies into your life and it can be difficult to get out from there.

It becomes much of a hassle to push yourself just to do the simple things, when in reality it should feel exciting, it should make you happy! What we usually fail to see is or not always regonize more like is life is beautiful, there’s so many things that can bring joy to our hearts and things to be proud of within it, but it’s also painful as everything is always changing, the people we love aren’t always going to stay and you have to continue to go through life alone after all that happens, although we aren’t always alone really, but we do have to walk certain roads alone and that is *SIGH* just a big old sigh.

It dauntling, not fun and it’s scary, but you keep going and eventually you see that there’s a rainbow helping to guide your way, you have to allow yourself to feel all the emotions that come up upon your journey, it’s okay to feel the not so good feelings, the same way you feel the good feelings and it’s alright to tell yourself “I am not okay today” allow yourself to be okay with not being okay, with every low day comes brighter days, don’t forget we also go through seasonal depressions where we just feel sad or not with it, in specific seasons and when you feel like you made a mistake, just learn from it, try not to dwell and keep yourself attached to those mistakes, forgive yourself, heal from it and release it into the universe.

I know this may also come as a shock, but even when you feel like crap and you find that the healing journey is taking longer than you would like for it to process, have patience with yourself, understand that you are HEALING for a reason and be grateful and thankful for the healing, we may be stubborn, we may hate to wait all the time, but everything in life takes it’s time, everything is naturally slower paced, the quick paced way is why we all stress, but if you takes cues from nature and you pay attention, you learn that not even mother nature is in a hurry, so we have to keep learning to take notes, sit with the stillness, sit with our feelings, sit with the quiet and just be.

It’s not always comfortable, it’s not a fan favorite, you got let the uncomfortable out, no matter how it makes you feel, because that too is apart of the healing journey, healing isn’t just a scrape on the knee or a bump on your head, with healing you sometimes have to GO THROUGH IT and it will sometimes shake you, it will leave you emotional, but the healing is there to help, it’s there to transform you, so that you can bloom better and rise higher than you ever rose before. Learn to not judge yourself, learn to just be there for yourself, as you are navigating through all the waves and storms and observe them as if they are seperate to you, because by doing that you can grow to better understand who you are and what your needs are, as well as what you have to focus your attention on when it comes to taking proper care of yourself.
