How you talk to yourself and how you see things, is truly important, Telling ourselves that and actually implementing that into our day to day life isn’t always as easy as it seems. They say what you think you become and what you feel can really transpire, so if you tell yourself everyday that you aren’t smart, then you will come to believe it, if you you tell yourself that you have the power to be great then you will start to feel a confidence that you never knew you had.
Some of us aren’t really great at changing our perspective of things, we either overthink too much, doubt the things around us or get ourselves into a frenzy sitting with our thoughts too much the mind is a powerful thing, we don’t really know how intellegent it actually is, we know it has a logical and creative side, but there’s waaay more to the brain then what we think or shall I say know. Sometimes we can tell ourselves for a long time,
“I am not great at art” if you keep telling yourself that, then you won’t actually actually put your mind to making art because you think you don’t have the potential for it, but if you change it to “I am going to paint something today and see what comes out from it” then there’s a difference in attitude and a difference in feeling, if you put a positive spin to it then the meaning changes, but it’s also something that you have to feel and believe in, sometimes it takes longer to actually allow ourselves to feel that energy especially when we are constantly putting ourselves down and keeping ourselves in that negative headspace, we have to try and push ourselves out of the dirt and rise to trying to be better the best that we can.
Give yourself a positive self-pep talk in the morning, afternoon and before bed, I say this even though I don’t do it for myself, I probably should give it a try though, I don’t usually give myself a pep talk especially when i’m down and out and I stay that way for a good while, until I find myself starting to slowly getting back to my actual self, it usually just takes time and it’s alright if it takes time if you find yourself struggling or feeling a large weight upon you, just keep pushing and keep going, try not to get frustrated with yourself if things aren’t going quite right, you can always change the energy of things when you change your mindset and keep yourself grounded as well.
