Let’s Talk: Teen Titans GO (Night Begins To Shine Episodes)

How’s everyone’s Friday going so far!? Alright so originally I was going to give my thoughts on the Teen Titans Movie Special The Night Begins To Shine 2, however as I was writing this post, I realized there’s some stuff I need to explain first just so it’s not confusing, so we’re gonna do this in parts and try and explain things as best as possible!!

Now you might be wondering what is Teen Titans Go!? Well I don’t know really…..I guess you can call it a spin off of the original Teen Titans show, but more obnoxious, weird and just not Teen Titans…..that being said, it’s not that bad of a show if i’m being honest, there are some episodes that I like, some I don’t mind and some that I could care less for, the good thing about this show though is, it knows what it is and it never tries to be like it’s original counter part which had more of a serious tone to it, there was a lot more action in that show then there is in Teen Titans Go and the story of it, you just connected to very well….Teen Titans Go on the other hand well….

It’s just full of nonsense most of the time, but for some reason….it works, I guess and I think that’s what the writers of the show wanted, they didn’t want another Teen Titans show and so they took aspects to what they originally created with Teen Titans and turned it into what you wouldn’t expect the show to be and so instead of it being a serious toned show and everything in between that we saw in Teen Titans, they made it more less serious and a little more out there and by out there, I mean it’s more randomized so a lot of the stuff that goes on, can makes sense, but also doesn’t have to makes sense, they had a little more fun with it pretty much!!

That aside, today we’re going to be talking about the first not really episode to introduce The Night Begins To Shine which was the episode 40% 40% 20% (yes that’s the actual episode name) now this might get a little confusing so please bare with me as I try and explain in the best way possible although we’re not talking about the movie right now,

I’ll explain it a little so that way when we do get to The Movie Special it’ll make a bit more sense….so the reason the movie special is called the Night Begins To Shine 2……is because we don’t get to the “first” part until the second part of The Night Begins To Shine…..I hope you’re still following,

It makes sense if you’ve watched the two part episodes, but to put it in the shortest way possible, 40% 40% 20% is pretty much like an intro preview before the introduction to the first real part of the Night Begins To Shine episode, hope this is all making sense so far!? To go into the preview intro episode, we have Cyborg one of main Teen Titans who is a little obsessed with this song called: The Night Begins To Shine by the band B.E.R.

(Who are actual artists, by the way) in this episode we’re pretty much being introduced to the song first, long story short the rest of The Titans (Robin, Beast Boy, Raven and Starfire) are kind of becoming a little tired of the song,

They try and tell cyborg to give it a little rest and listen to something else, Cyborg loving the song too much doesn’t want to and so the Titans ask him what’s so special about it, he explains and then takes them all to this alternative world where they discover the land of B.E.R. (that’s what I call it) they admire it for a while, trying to figure out how them being there is possible and Cyborg tells them that “Music has the power to transform”

That’s kinda the motto of these specific episodes, but Robin then stops the song bringing them all back to their world and telling Cyborg he gotta stop playing the song so much, the rest of the Titans agree and tell him that he can’t do the simplest things without it, Robin even puts him to the test and doesn’t allow him to go on their mission with them until he can prove that he doesn’t need the song to do things, a little later on in the episode the rest of the Titans ends up getting captured by one of the villains and it’s up to Cyborg to go and save them, how does he do it!?

By becoming inspired by……a Hawk building a nest for itself while singing the song that Cyborg is obsessed with, which gives him that sense of encouragement that he needs, to save his friends, he defeats the villain even though they destroyed his cassette tape, but it’s okay because his friends realized the importance of the song to Cyborg and they help him to free them and that is the first preview of the Night Begins To Shine, before the actual episode!!

I like this episode, because not only do we get a song that’ll be re introduced a few times, but we also get to see a different version of the Teen Titans characters, that I feel is similar to the art style of the original Teen Titans, not saying their the same, it’s just cool to see the transitioned art styles within these episodes!! Now although I like this episode,

I’d say the second first real episode of the Night Begins To Shine, i’d say that’s my favorite one, because this time, not only is the song back, but we also meet B.E.R. for the first time and we get to go more into the story and world of B.E.R and learn more on the origins of the song as well and learn how powerful it actually is……so that’s the “first” part of The Night Begins To Shine, well the introduction of it anyway, the second part to the episode,

Which is the first part, explaining it all, that episode will be discussed in the next part of this post and from there we will be discussing the movie special, I might combined the two, have the the second episode be part 2 of this post and just have the movie be the third and final part of everything…..we’ll see and work it out from there, I just felt that I needed to explain a bit, before going straight into the movie special, it would’ve been confusing had I not decided to do that, hopefully it made sense, but if I don’t get to the second part today just know it’ll be up soon, until then, I hope you’re all enjoying the day and I hope you all have a nice weekend!!

All The Love ❤ ❤
