Podcasting Schedule….

How’s Everyone’s Thursday Been Going!? Hope you all have been enjoying yourselves, alright so I wanted to write a quick post on the schedule of my podcast episodes, now I’ve been trying my hand on recording podcast episodes for about a month now and at first it was just to give a try and see how I liked it and everything, but since then, I have actually been enjoying myself when recording episodes, I actually really like it! Now I will admit that at first I didn’t really have an actual schedule, I was just posting whenever I recorded a new episode, but I like to think that I have found a good footing on the days that I upload to Anchor and Spotify, I always record my episodes towards the evening on Fridays and sometimes I’ll also upload on that day depending on the length of the episode, if it’s not too long then I’ll have it up then, but if I need to look at it a bit, then you normally see it on a Monday or other days!

Now so far my episode uploads are, Fridays (Recording always, uploads every so often) Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m also going to be adding Saturdays, but just like Fridays it’ll be on certain days only on Saturdays! Now to give you an insight on what my content of the episodes I share at times on my podcast, it’s just a hangout session kind of podcast, I like to share upon topics of music, certain video games and just give my best thoughts to those kind of topics, I also try and share on some thoughts of my own in terms of little reminders and personal things that I might write here on this blog and want to share sometimes on my podcast, just in case I have other things to add that maybe a little too long of post to write! It’s pretty much interest based the content of my Podcast,

I share on loads of different topics mean something to me in the moment! I just want everyone that comes by to have a listen to chill out and hopefully enjoy themselves, because I enjoy myself, so hopefully with a set schedule so far, anyone reading this or listening because this is probably going to be in the next episode that I do, you’ll know when to look out for it, I also post new episodes and even blog posts on my Twitter so if ever you’re unsure to when I upload or just want to catch up or say hi even, you can find me there, my Twitter is literally the name of my blog Life As A Daydreamer I’d like to think I’m pretty friendly, I don’t mind getting to know people and say hi, I can be a bit shy, but I can also be the one to start conversation too depending how I feel haha!

Those are my upload days so far with my podcast episodes, if by any chance I need to change it or I got other things to add on anything, You’ll see it in a new blog post update of course, this promoting thing is very new to me and I can get a bit nervous with it, but I’ve been doing my best with it and everything else I do, which is all I can really do, but yeah if you would like to come by and hang out with me, those have been the days I’ve found myself uploading the most and that’s why I thought I’d just write a post on it! I have a few episodes up now if you would like to have a listen, some are a bit lengthy I’ll be honest, but I do have shorter episodes too, so get cozy, grab a snack, friend, pet, favorite drink and come by and hang out if you like!!

Daydreamer’s Podcast is the name of my Podcast and like I said a bit earlier you can find it on either Anchor which is where it’s hosted or you can have a listen on Spotify, maybe you prefer it as background noise instead of a sit and listen which is completely fine, however you choose to enjoy it! Welcome To The Daydreamer’s Podcast

Happy Saturday, hope you all are having a good day!! Now I know that I haven’t properly talked about this so I thought I’d have this post be the introduction for it…..a late introduction, but an introduction nonetheless!! Now in case a lot of you don’t already know I went ahead and created a podcast, some of you may already know if you’ve read some of my latest posts, but if you didn’t…..I have a podcast now, it’s called Daydreamer’s Podcast and I created it out of curiosity, I was actually writing a post and had just finished posting that post when I saw an opportunity to be able to turn a post into a podcast episode and so that’s exactly what I did, so I kind of have WordPress to thank for giving me the idea of creating one, I only have 2 episodes right now, but so far I’ve been enjoying myself,

I have found that I actually get pretty excited to record the next episode, which is something that comes rarely for me, but this is something I kind of been wanting to do for a bit of a while now, I tend to talk quite a bit and sometimes a lot of the things I want to share can be too long to write in a post and so I thought this was the perfect thing to give a try, It’s something I’ve always thought of doing and it’s something that has literally presented itself to me and why not give it a shot!!

Now the content to my new Podcast is going to be a bit of everything in the sense to the way I do it here on my blog, it’s pretty much interest based, so for example music, video games and sometimes serious topics that I feel I want to share upon and discuss a bit about…..sometimes I’ll even incorporate some blog post topic for the days where I feel I want to express a bit more, the two episodes that are up now were based off two blog posts, but it’s stuff like that! I just want to create a place that everyone can just hang out and hopefully have a good time!! I already recorded a third episode which should be up pretty soon, but if you guys are curious and would like to check out the last two episodes of my podcast, that would really mean a lot to me, you can have a listen to both episodes here:

Now Playing: Slow Burn By Kacey Musgraves

I heard this song for the very first time in a very long time yesterday and I forgot just how good this song is, it used to be one of my favorites to listen to, I hadn’t heard it in a while, but i’m glad that I was curious enough to revisit it and hear it again!! Kacey delivers this song so beautifully, I mean she literally takes her time to sing every lyric of the song going with the theme of it very well, I listened to it about 3 times today in one sitting within the same hour…seriously the lyrics are probably one of my favorites and i’ve listened to a lot of songs, if you asked me to name my top five favorite songs with the best lyrics this would probably be in the top five, it’d be pretty high on a list anyway!

Now i’m going to be honest here…..i’ve not really heard a lot of Kacey Musgraves songs, i’ve only heard a hand full of her songs, but she’s got a very unique voice and the songs that I have heard are really good, Follow Your Arrow, Rainbow, I even love her version of All Is Found from the Frozen 2 soundtrack, I like it a lot actually, Slow burn though, there’s just something about that song, I remember when I first heard it and in the moment I thought “I can really feel these lyrics” like I felt some kind of connection with them and I would listen to it constantly, I just felt it spoke volumes, if you’ve ever heard it you’ll understand what I mean by that!

If you never heard it before and you decide to give it a listen, you’ll find it right away, this song is literally about enjoying things at a slower pace, taking things in as they come and being okay with being a bit of a slow burner, I consider myself to be that as well if i’m being honest here, if you really think about it….this song is quite fitting with where we all are in life at the moment with the pandemic still going on, it’s not all the way done and it’s not going to be all the way done for a good while, but in some cases it’s getting there, but in others it’s still got a long way to go…..but that aside

This song is a really nice song to sit back and relax to, especially when you feel things starting to become a little overwhelming within the day or week even, it gives you a bit of a reminder that it’s alright to slow things down a bit if you you need to and tells you to embrace taking your time more with things and acknowledge small things around you!!

It’s even got it’s own witty and fun lyrics to it, one of my favorites being the opening line “Born in a hurry, always late, haven’t been early since 88′ I love that line, it’s like she’s making light of herself saying the last time she was early to anything was when she was born and now she just always running late for everything, I like songs like that, where the artist make slight fun of themselves, because their giving you a side to them that they probably don’t share often so when they add those little moments they’re letting you in on a secret part of them which is nice!!

You don’t always get that from artists, so when you do you feel like you’re apart of something which is one of the best feelings you can have……but Slow Burn is just a really nice song, Kacey really does perform it well and whether I listen to it all the time or every so often I think it’ll always be one of favorites to look for, hit play and just enjoy it, possibly along side some coffee, tea or while in nature, it goes well with that!!

Just Gonna Wander A Bit….

You ever feel like you need your brain to wander, but you don’t really know why you want it to wander around for!? Yeah that’s how i’m feeling at the moment…..My brain isn’t in the mood to want to cooperate with me today, but I guess I need to let myself be okay with that, I did really want to record a video today, but I just couldn’t get my thoughts to form properly so I might have to rain check on it, I think the way the day went might’ve tuckered me out a bit, didn’t do that much just some slight running around, but yeah……

I shouldn’t go taking it as such a “Sigh” moment though, I mean I was saying to myself yesterday that I felt like I needed to write something it’s been about 5 days since my last post and I was going to try and write on here yesterday, but I had no idea what exactly I wanted to share so I didn’t,

But maybe today was the day to write for me and just relax a bit……i’ve kinda been in a mode trying to get some ideas down in terms of videos, trying to set it a certain way, just to get an idea, but maybe I just need to not think so hard and give it a little, i’m sure it’ll all come to me in time

I think that’s all I have to say though, but before I finish up this post, I did upload a new video, it was posted last night so if you want to take a look at that, it’s on the channel for whenever you guys want to watch it,

Calm…..It’s Okay To Feel You Know!?

Close your eyes and breathe relax and breathe……it’s okay, you’re okay, we are okay. Don’t think that it’s not okay to feel the way you are feeling right now, it’s alright, everything’s alright, I know all these feelings are swirling around and it don’t quite feel all that nice, but it’s going to be fine!!

Don’t think that you shouldn’t feel what it is you’re feeling, they’re meant to come out, it may not make sense to why they’re coming out, but you’re having to release them for a reason……it’s been sitting there for quite some time now, it’s time to let them out…….just because it’s confusing considering how the days been, it’s been pretty alright yeah!?

I know you’re feeling sorry and guilty for letting whatever is going on out, but you shouldn’t be, we all need to let it out sometime, even if it doesn’t quite make sense to when it feels the need to come out, it’s time to heal, allow yourself to heal the way it’s happening and don’t be so hard on yourself about it, allow yourself to feel those emotions and know that it’s for a reason and it’s okay…..it’ll take some time, but be patient……

You’re doing alright, so there’s no need to stress yourself out about it, just trust that everything is going to be alright and it’ll all work out in time, trust yourself and believe in yourself as well, don’t fret it’s all going to be alright!! 🙂

Deep Breath……

Okay so this going to sound pretty confusing to guys, at least for a moment, my brain is filled with a bit of pressure and i’m feeling a little nervous….alright a lot nervous, there’s been something that i’ve been at that I just started really trying at, i’ve been back and forth with it in my head at first for a good while and it wasn’t until yesterday where I stopped thinking about it let’s just say…….at this moment though, i’m a bit nervous to the point where i’m kinda sitting with it for a bit, really thinking about it……

It’s only until I feel alright to say “it’s time” I know trying to delay something isn’t probably the best choice to go with, but sometimes you need a moment to really take something in before you go again, you know!?…….I probably should just start going again, instead of trying to purposely stall, stalling doesn’t really work all that well, unless you’re having to stall someone else from entering a room or something, in that case it kinda works,

But if you’re trying to stall yourself…….you’re not really helping yourself all that well are ya!? Guess not……I should probably get moving soon, let me go grab a sweater or jacket in case it’s get a little chilly……what!? I’m not stalling if that’s what you’re wondering, this weather is just unpredictable these days, gotta be prepared, is all……alright, alright i’m going!!……

Today Is Monday…..

Monday’s are something aren’t they!? I mean you never really know what kind of Monday you’re in for, I mean you never actually know what kind of day you’re in for, for that matter, let alone Mondays……but if the week starts on a weird note and it’s a Monday……you’re going to be in for quite the day!!

How do you prepare or know the best way to handle situations that ended up doing a big 180 out of nowhere!? Well for one you try and stay as calm as possible and make sure to keep centered even when you start to shift a little, now that can sometimes be a little hard, but it’s all in the way you handle the ripple that has occurred, ripples as we all know are just small effects that happen when some kind of vibration comes into contact with it.

Now it’s not a huge effect, however it can still cause a bit of a disturbance, based off the way it arrives out of nowhere, but even when that happens just know that it’s only a slight one, for it to become a bigger one, you’d have to let it really get to you, but by letting it effect you greatly even when it’s for a short moment, you allow your energy vibration to be effected.

We want to avoid that, it may not always be easy, but in the times where we want to scream because everything is being flipped upside down and the day is just becoming a real mad one, just try and focus on the way the ripple actually looks and not the effects that it brings with it, when we choose to focus on the upside of a situation even when it may not seem like a big upside, we not only keep our energy level’s at bay, but we sometimes notice how nice the ripple on the water looks when it’s hit with something.

Also when things get a bit on the tense side of town, just take a couple of breaths and breathe, it may take a while to get back into a relaxed state, but it helps!! Just because there’s a small ripple in the water for a moment doesn’t mean we aren’t able to get through it, it just takes a bit of calm to do so, but don’t worry not all Monday’s are that bad, they’re just Mondays!!

No Need To Try So Hard…..

Ask yourself this question…..why do we try so hard!? Did you answer it!? If so what did you say!? When we try hard to get things right, most often we find that it turns out not so right all the time, why is that!? Well it’s exactly what it is, we’re trying too hard, when in reality, we don’t need to.

Now you might be saying to yourself, well how else are we meant to do it!? Try hard a little less possibly….!? Yes I know how exactly!? Well for one, we gotta relax and chill out, breathe and let things flow at a natural state,

When we try too hard, we create resistance, which also invites stress, causing us to feel overwhelmed by everything and let me tell you it’s not a great feeling you know……we’re only adding pressure to ourselves by doing that, if we constantly worry about things not being a certain way and trying to get it right all the time, we wouldn’t have things be as natural as they are would we!? It’s okay to push yourself harder then you might normally at times, but when you start trying so hard to the point where you’re stressing yourself out, that is the moment where you need to step back and take a couple of breathers otherwise, you’re going to drive yourself mad.

Although it’s great to want to push yourself to be better, we don’t always have to try so hard to do that, we can do that and do our best all at the same time, minus the stress and feelings of being overwhelmed, just because something may seem or feel not all that great, doesn’t mean that is isn’t all that great, sometimes we may need to just relook at things or tweak something in order for it to make sense and come out right…..

It’s good to go on what you feel, but sometimes what we may feel to be not so good in our heads, actually isn’t all that bad, just keep that in mind……

Plants Galore….(June 2, 2019)

They say having plants around you is a good way to not only keep your space clean, but it also helps as a good de-stresser (if that’s a word) plants are meant to bring a sense of calmness to you, after all without them we wouldn’t have much oxygen would we!!?

You know when you really think about it we don’t really know why plants are as useful as they are, we know they’re special and are good, but why exactly are they special!? I’m sure it most likely has to do with Science and that, but when you really look at plants and the way they are, each different to the next with them even having different effects to them too……

Some help you sleep better, some help you relax better and some even put out different scents, it’s quite interesting if you think about it……there’s different shapes and sizes to each plant, as well as different styles, some more droopy, more intact and others more alive and well……

You don’t really think about that kind of thing unless you’re in a deep thought kind of mode or just very observant of things.

I’m not really sure why exactly I decided to create this, I think maybe I might’ve wanted something simple to focus on, not sure why plants was the theme today though, but hey i’ll take it ha…..

Madness….(May 22, 2019)

Step through the madness of the mind, feel on edge and paranoid, as the stress and anxiety starts to creep over and through you…..

Listen to the screams of your voice as it attempts to escape and let that volcanic rage you feel, boil until it no longer can stay put.

Once you’ve unleashed the madness, relieve that breath you’ve been holding in and relax as it was only temporary the madness,

Now that things are cooled down, it will go back underneath the surface, leaving you at peace once again……

Well, until it’s ready to be released again that is.
