I’ve Got Something To Say!

Good Afternoon, I know I wrote something a little bit earlier today, but I didn’t get the chance to tell you the other thing I wanted to say, what exactly is it you may ask!? Well before I tell you, first I just want to take notice of how not great I am when it comes to self promoting, this is nothing new, I do it with everything I do, especially when it’s still new, but when you’ve got something you want to share and want to let it be known, you kinda have to put yourself in the center for a moment so that people can hear you and understand you clearly and also hope for the best when expressing yourself and so that’s what I’ll be doing right now!

Now I’ve only been doing this for a week now, so I’m not really an expert when it comes to what I’m about to share, but it’s something that I’m finding joy out of and I’ve been trying to get the hang of it since I took the chance of giving it a go….to keep the long story short though, I just wanted to announce that I started streaming, my first stream was on the 23rd of June, however I can’t say “hey you should watch that one” because again still learning as I go….I forgot to highlight my first stream on twitch,

I didn’t really know you could do that until I saw that my second stream only had a day left on twitch and when my sister in law told me about it! So now that I know that…..I’ve been highlighting all my streams that I’ve done so far, I just finished my 5th or 6th stream about 2 hours ago and yeah it was pretty good, so far I’ve just been playing my favorite game of all time, you may have seen my write about it plenty of times, that game being Animal Crossing, but I do plan on adding in other games down the line, when I feel it to be right, but for the time being, I’ll just be focusing on Animal Crossing New Horizons!

I won’t have this post be too long, so I’ll just discuss whether I have a schedule to when I stream…..right now, I’m still working out the days on when I prefer to stream, but so far Fridays have been my set days of streaming and by that I mean it’s more likely that you’ll see my stream on a Friday, I’m debating on whether I should add Saturdays because I did stream this past Saturday….but other than that time, Saturdays are up in the air! Thursdays are a somewhat day that I also stream and then today which is Monday, I’m not sure if Mondays will be a day that I stream often, but I’m going to keep it in mind at least….but most definitely Fridays are the days that you will find me streaming the most!

When it comes to how many days I’d like to stream, I think I would prefer 3 days MAX and the Minimum 2, but again I’m still figuring that out as well, but I’m sure the more I continue to stream the more I’ll start to know what I prefer to do. That’s everything I wanted to share if you would like to come on by and watch me stream my favorite game Animal Crossing: New Horizons or you just want a place to hang out and chat or listen to something, check out my Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/thewanderingdaydreamer I tend to stream towards the afternoon so around half past one ish to about 4pm, however I only stream for about an hour and a half, 2 hours and a half max, unless I feel I really want to play, then 3 hours is my limit!

I may at some point throw in an early morning stream randomly depending on how I’m feeling (and if the audio in OBS is on my side) it’s unlikely that you’ll ever see me stream during the morning, but there’s a possibility it could happen and when I say early I don’t mean super early, I think if I were to ever stream around the morning time it would be around 10:30am-11am, but other than that, expect afternoon streams from me…..I don’t know I just prefer streaming during the afternoon, unless I have to do something during that time, then I would switch it for the morning if need!

Up Next: Animal Crossing New Horizons Direct Thoughts

Good Morning and Happy Saturday! We have arrived to the weekend finally, I don’t know about you guys, but it felt like the week was both long and short, not sure if that makes sense, but it’s just been a week lets just say! I hope that you’re all doing okay though and that regardless to how long and short this week felt to me, I hope it was at least good for you guys!

One good thing to happen during this week though was a very special and unexpected moment which happened within the Animal Crossing Direct yesterday on the 15th of October…..if you’re not familiar or maybe you’re not into video games or just Animal Crossing you might be new to this information or you might have already heard a bit about it, but still aren’t interested which is completely alright! For those who have heard the news and are a fan of the game in someway or form, then you are quite aware of all the goodness and beautiful things that will soon be arriving to us next month!

To explain it would be hard to do, at least here anyway, I have thoughts and feelings to it all, but I need to gather them properly to be able to give them all out in the best way, although when it comes to Animal Crossing, my favorite video game series it’s hard for me to keep calm, because I just love it so much! You can’t even see me right now as I’m just sitting here writing all of this out for you guys, but if you did….you would see me still trying to process everything from yesterday’s Direct, but like I said it would be too much to explain here so, plus I haven’t even jotted everything down that will be coming soon in the game, plus other things that I happened to miss from the Direct, which was quite a handful to be fair, I’m still learning things from it lol!

So what’s going to happen!? This post is just to say what’s to come for the next post that I’ll be sharing, I used to write these kind of post before, but I haven’t done one in quite a while so I thought I’d write one today! I’ll be recording an episode upon this topic on my podcast sometime next week, I’m thinking of recording it Wednesday! There’s some other stuff that I want to talk about for Monday, plus I’ve been doing a lot of these video game announcement thoughts episode so I thought I’d switch it up and give it a bit of a break at least until Wednesday and then I’ll find something else to talk about for Friday and maybe Saturday!

I mean we are still in the spooky month and I’ve been meaning to talk about some movies and add some music topics in there to go with the Halloween season so I want to at least finish this month with those things, I’ve been switching things around lately especially during this week so I would like to get some balance in there with recording and posting on here, so keep a look out for my Animal Crossing Direct episode where I talk about everything I felt and what I’m most looking forward to with this upcoming update we’re getting because man did they give us a lot of thing in yesterday’s direct…I’m super excited for this…it should be good so stay tune!

Now Playing The Bones By Maren Morris Ft Hozier

Good Afternoon, hope everyone is having a nice Friday, we’ve come to the end of the week and start of another weekend, this week has been zooming by a bit! You can probably guess form the title what we’re going to be discussing, seeing that it’s the end of the week, I thought we’d just talk about music, now before we talk a little about today’s song, I just want to give you all a bit of an update to what I’ve been doing, so I actually recorded this as an episode yesterday for my podcast, normally I like to record on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but I ended up changing it up this week and have been recording Tuesday and Thursday so far,

I just wanted to see if I liked it for this week….it’s been okay, I don’t know if I’d say I like recording during these days, there have been times where, my days felt weird, I got so used to recording during the beginning, middle and end of the week that it threw me off, so we’ll be going back to the original schedule of my podcast episodes, I wasn’t going to keep it this way anyway, I just wanted to test it out and now that I have, I can say, I prefer Monday, Wednesday and Friday days!

On to the rest of the post, even though I did an episode about this song, I also wanted to write about for the simple reason of I forgot to mention a few things within that episode and I messed up on certain parts to what I was talking about so pretty much this post will be of what I want to add and fix, without giving too much of the episode away! First up, I talked about how Demi Lovato covered one of Hozier’s song Take Me To Church on BBC One Radio (BBC Radio One!?) but I completely forgot that he had covered her song which was I believe Sorry Not Sorry on there as well, it came to me when I was uploading the episode and so I wanted to add that! I also messed up on the song title to what I had said The Bones by Maren Morris ft Hozier was similar to,

I said the song was named Let It Be, but it ‘s actually called Let It Go (like the frozen song) and I finally got the name of the artist that I was trying to remember that sang the song when I was talking about it, I knew that was going to happened cause it always happens, right when you stop recording you remember or you find it! I actually just searched it up on my Spotify last night, the artist is named James Bay and the song is Let It Go! I think it’s the way both songs start, to why they sound very similar to me, but just because they sound similar doesn’t mean they are, they’re both two completely different songs, they just share a same sound vibe is all…..well The Bones sounds similar to Let It Go is what I mean, I mixed some lyrics up there, Let It Be is one of the lyrics in the song, but it’s not the name of the song! I guess I was thinking about The Beatles song when I said that in my episode, sorry about that!

Another thing I’ll give you a heads up on about the episode is that I sing…..don’t mind me, whenever I’m talking about a specific song, I tend to sing some of the lyrics, it’s what I do so hopefully you don’t mind, but yeah that’s pretty much it, if you would like to check out both Demi and Hozier’s version of each others song, I will leave it for you, both are good, I watched it before so I think you’ll enjoy them as well, I’ll also leave you all the other songs and that if you want to check them out, that’s is everything that I wanted to add as extras, the rest of what I gave my thoughts to is in the episode so if you would like to check it out, here you go:

Next Up….Still Alive By Alexz Johnson (Updated) With Added Thoughts

Good Afternoon and Happy Monday, hopefully it’s a good one for you all so far! I’m feeling pretty good today, I’m a lot older than I was yesterday…..still getting used to that though, but other than that, I’m feeling pretty alright, hope you all enjoyed your weekend by the way…..have I mentioned it’s now Tuesday, no!? *Writes in Tuesday* sorry about that, I tend to confuse the days….hope you’ve all been having a good day so far, my mood today is a bit less energetic compared to yesterday, but I still feel pretty okay I’d say!

So today’s topic of the day is a Now Playing as you can see up there in the title, at least that’s what it was supposed to be, I think I’m going to move this post to a different day so it matches with the podcast episode that I want to re record! I’ve been doing a lot of these lately, that being due to the fact that there’s a lot of artists that I like talking about…..originally I had this in mind as a Podcast episode where I’d go over the track list and give my best thoughts about it and I’ve done that…..only it turned into an hour long episode and I didn’t feel like anyone would want to listen to me talk for an hour, plus I wasn’t able to really share it on the day of the anniversary like I wanted…..there’s some reasons there, but I’m not going to get into that, personal stuff!

So I went ahead and recorded it again to see if I’d be able to have it be less of a long episode which I did manage…..but I kinda want to do it over again because I want to get it right, not saying the first two ones weren’t good I just feel like I could do better with it so because I missed both the anniversary upload I wanted originally to do and missed my first Monday episode upload….I’m going to try my hand at it again tomorrow and possibly have it scheduled for either Friday or Saturday! Friday seeing as though she released the album on a Friday last year on the 8th of May, only instead of the 8th it’ll be the 14th…..and Saturday being because she had a listening party for the album, buut it was on the 15th of April….that I didn’t know,

I was there for the listening party, but I forgot that she did it in April…..however because it’s the 15th this Saturday and this past Saturday was the 8th, the day the album was released….I’m probably going to lean more toward Saturday in posting it, even though it’s already a year since the albums release, but it’ll be a year and a 1 week so I feel like it’ll still counts, plus 5 is my lucky number, I like to think of it to be lucky anyway, so the 15th is looking like the choice and winner here! I also kinda had something I was going to try my hand at on Friday, even though technically the topic I have in mind was an April thing that I had no clue about until April was pretty much over…..

but the day being the 14th still in a way makes it count and that’s the story I’m sticking with alright, I’m still thinking on that one though, but I might just do it, so stay tune for all of that! That’s pretty much all I got for this post, keep a look out for my album thoughts on Alexz Johnson’s Still Alive album coming to you guys this weekend and whatever I have for you guys this Friday!

Podcasting Schedule….

How’s Everyone’s Thursday Been Going!? Hope you all have been enjoying yourselves, alright so I wanted to write a quick post on the schedule of my podcast episodes, now I’ve been trying my hand on recording podcast episodes for about a month now and at first it was just to give a try and see how I liked it and everything, but since then, I have actually been enjoying myself when recording episodes, I actually really like it! Now I will admit that at first I didn’t really have an actual schedule, I was just posting whenever I recorded a new episode, but I like to think that I have found a good footing on the days that I upload to Anchor and Spotify, I always record my episodes towards the evening on Fridays and sometimes I’ll also upload on that day depending on the length of the episode, if it’s not too long then I’ll have it up then, but if I need to look at it a bit, then you normally see it on a Monday or other days!

Now so far my episode uploads are, Fridays (Recording always, uploads every so often) Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m also going to be adding Saturdays, but just like Fridays it’ll be on certain days only on Saturdays! Now to give you an insight on what my content of the episodes I share at times on my podcast, it’s just a hangout session kind of podcast, I like to share upon topics of music, certain video games and just give my best thoughts to those kind of topics, I also try and share on some thoughts of my own in terms of little reminders and personal things that I might write here on this blog and want to share sometimes on my podcast, just in case I have other things to add that maybe a little too long of post to write! It’s pretty much interest based the content of my Podcast,

I share on loads of different topics mean something to me in the moment! I just want everyone that comes by to have a listen to chill out and hopefully enjoy themselves, because I enjoy myself, so hopefully with a set schedule so far, anyone reading this or listening because this is probably going to be in the next episode that I do, you’ll know when to look out for it, I also post new episodes and even blog posts on my Twitter so if ever you’re unsure to when I upload or just want to catch up or say hi even, you can find me there, my Twitter is literally the name of my blog Life As A Daydreamer I’d like to think I’m pretty friendly, I don’t mind getting to know people and say hi, I can be a bit shy, but I can also be the one to start conversation too depending how I feel haha!

Those are my upload days so far with my podcast episodes, if by any chance I need to change it or I got other things to add on anything, You’ll see it in a new blog post update of course, this promoting thing is very new to me and I can get a bit nervous with it, but I’ve been doing my best with it and everything else I do, which is all I can really do, but yeah if you would like to come by and hang out with me, those have been the days I’ve found myself uploading the most and that’s why I thought I’d just write a post on it! I have a few episodes up now if you would like to have a listen, some are a bit lengthy I’ll be honest, but I do have shorter episodes too, so get cozy, grab a snack, friend, pet, favorite drink and come by and hang out if you like!!

Pre Prepping For Post Writing Or Anything Really…. (Aug 6, 2019)

Pre writing and prepping before the initial due date or when you plan to have something done, may actually help get something done on the time, you hope to get it done…….thinking about what to write about, I started trying to plan a writing schedule for my posts, this is something i’ve been thinking about for a while now, but I could never come up with one that quite fit so I never bothered sticking to one……

However I think I figured it out this time, there are certain topics that I have wanted to have a specific “post day” for, posts in the Now Playing….category where I talk about certain artists and discuss their new music and my thought on it, even going and talking about the artists themselves, sometimes it won’t even be about an artist and their new music, but just sharing some of my favorite songs and everything,

While hopefully maybe giving you guys some recommendations for new music to listen to in the process….i’m sure you get what I mean though….

It’s those kind of posts that I keep wanting to set specific days for, i’m not really sure why, I have this thing where when I think of music, I think of the weekend (no not the singer) the actual weekend, although you can listen to it on any day of the week really, you don’t have to specify it,

but when I think of music and the feeling of it, it gives off a relaxing chill down time kind of mode or mood (whichever you prefer) it’s exciting and inviting and it lets you just wind down and enjoy yourself for the moment.

Just like when you get that weekend feeling, you know!? I’ve been trying to set it up that way for a while, but with the way I write it never works out quite that way……but I think I have it lined up this time, I think pre writing it and scheduling it to when I want it to be posted might just help with that…

It’ll also keep the stress of thinking I have to hurry and get this done down, when it gets close to the day, by that time, it’ll already be up which means I won’t have to worry…..when it comes to my other posts those should come naturally, but let’s see how prepping and pre writing a post works out……
