It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas…However It Sure Doesn’t Feel Like It!

So it seems we’re getting closer to Christmas time along with the new year, we got 4 more days before everyone’s saying Merry Christmas and one more week left before we’re saying farewell to 2021 and how’s it going 2022! I can’t even begin to tell you where this year has gone especially when it comes to the month of December….this month approached us so quickly and just as we were getting comfortable with it, thinking it was going to stay a while like the rest of the other months, it surprised us all with how close it is to finishing, LITERALLY December is over next week and I don’t know how to feel about that exactly!?

You know I was thinking out loud to myself earlier this morning, I had a few thoughts and the best way for me to get my thoughts out is speaking out loud to myself, it helps me to not keep certain emotions in…..I probably could’ve written it down as well, but it wasn’t in my mind to that in the moment so I was just letting it out to the air! I know that probably sounds weird, but I feel it to really help, sometimes I don’t always want to talk about things to people so I say it to myself that way it’s out of my head.

I won’t talk about everything I thought about, but I will talk about a specific thing…which actually came out of nowhere to be fair…..I had a thought where I thought about dealing with things, now this may come out as deep, although it’s not what I’m intending for it to be, but if it does then it does…..anyway when it comes to dealing with things and this could be in a general state…..as humans….we don’t necessarily have to deal with anything really, yes there are things that we have to accept in our lives, but the real question or statement to it shall I say isn’t about dealing with things, but more adapting to it, where it’s a choice!

What I mean by that is, when we’re surrounded with different scenarios, situations, people even, we have the choice of whether we want to allow those things into our lives, as well as choosing whether we want to adapt to those things…..life is always going as we know, we also know that there’s always something new to experience with it and a lot of the time we aren’t aware to what those things are and so we tend to be left with surprises from it!

That being said….just because there’s a lot going on with life it doesn’t mean that we have to always adapt to everything, although we should try our best to accept things as they are, even when it’s something we may not want to accept in the moment, it’s important to know that there’s a difference to accepting something and having the choice to adapt to that same thing…..it’s like flowers…..I know weird example I’m about to give, but it’s the first thing that came to mind so it’s what I’m going to use, flowers are very interesting!

If you’re lucky you may just see one sprout through concrete…..but with most flowers they all have a season, most of them tend to grow during the Springtime, but there are others that grow in the Summer and Fall and there are very rare and unique ones that might just grow during the Winter time, now you might be asking yourself where am I going with this…..to bring it back the best way I know how…..with most flowers they know their season and although there are flowers that will adapt and grow in the other seasons, most of them are Spring time flowers and won’t grow in any other season, but it’s because it’s how their made, they accept it!

What I’m trying to say here is, we’re not always meant to adapt to certain things, we can choose to adapt and put ourselves into something and be around people that are a little different to us, but that we know can help us in some way, however we don’t have to feel like we have to force ourselves to adapt to things that we know within ourselves isn’t who we are! When we find ourselves in those situations, it’s important to hear what our inner voices are saying, so if you’re in a place and you start to feel like you’re not meant to be there….really listen to that feeling!

If you find yourself surrounded by people and you’re feeling more out of place then you are enjoying yourself then really look at that, sometimes you can have moments where it’s more out of shyness then you feeling you’re just there and that’s it, it really depends on the situation there, but if you genuinely feel like you’re always invading people personal space even when they tell you you’re not or you just feel like it’s not your kind of scene then that’s when you want to look into it deeper!

Now I’m not saying don’t go out of your comfort because it’s important to do that every now and again, because it allows you to gain new experiences and see things in a whole new way to what you were use to, as well as getting to meet new people, some of them will have shared interests and will be similar to you and some will be the complete opposite to you, but sometimes that’s the best thing because you don’t want everyone to be like you it’s good to have that one person that’s more realistic and will tell you “hey you might want to re look at this” or tell you if you’re going a little off track, but not in a way of saying their way is right and your way is wrong, but just by letting you know they care and always want to make sure you’re good!

Those are the people you want in your life, you want someone to be your Ying to their Yang, you can’t have one without the other….but to get back on track…..It’s important to know yourself and what feels right to you and what doesn’t…..in terms of people, as much as we may want all that come into our lives to stay…..not all of them are going to….so as we wrap up the year within the next few days…..whoever chooses to adapt and stay in our lives will and those who feel it’s time for them to move on in whatever way or form…..

Well you should always choose to thank them for being with you for the time that they were and accept the situation however it may come, when it comes to all the other things look at what they are and decide if whether you want to adapt to them or not and whatever you choose, always try your best to accept even if it feels hard at first, always accept it!

Up And Early….With Some Thoughts!

Good Morning! Happy Saturday hope you’re all having a very nice and relaxing weekend or just a nice weekend, if you’re up and running around today! I got up a bit early today for no reason, but then went back to sleep for a while, originally when I got up it was about 7:48am I believe, I had a feeling it was early the first time I got up, I just didn’t know it was that early and when I went back to sleep and got up again, it was about 8:26am! I tend to get up around 8am anyway so that’s my usual time of getting myself up, if my body wakes me up early….I’ll get up about 7am and will stay up during that time if I feel I can’t get back to sleep or I’m just feeling like an early bird!

but if I’m just getting up early for nothing, I’ll randomly find myself up between the times of 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am & 6am, lately though the earliest of early of me getting up will be about like maybe 5am or 6am tops the other times are only when I have too much in my head and I have trouble sleeping…..the latest that I tend to get up or prefer to get up is 9am…..sometimes on rare occasions 10am, but that’s only when I’m really really tired and haven’t slept in a while, it’s not my preferred time to get up, but when it happens I know it’s because I barely slept so I try not to beat myself up when I do get up at that time!

I don’t really know why I’m writing about this so if you’re confused well so am I, sometimes I just write whatever feels like coming out and I try not to question it, but I don’t have a clue on why I just explained all of that to you guys…..don’t mind me! Hopefully everyone’s morning has gone well, I know for some of you out there, it’s probably the afternoon or getting close to the evening time, It’s 10am now as I’m continuing writing this post….when I got up this early morning I sat outside for a bit and was taking a lot of things in, for one….you know we’ve arrived in September cause it’s getting more chilly out, although it tends to be pretty cold in the early mornings anyway, but even when it’d not super early and the suns out beaming all over you, you tend to notice how different the air is and how cooler it’s gotten compared to the other days!

You know it’s September when you start to see more Crows flying by, before you’d only see them here and there, but the amount of crows I’ve been seeing since September started just by sitting outside is a good amount to count, it’s quite mad! I know I recently talked about doing a lot of thinking about things, which I am, I’ve not stopped thinking recently, there’s a lot going on personally, some a little too personal to share on here, although sometimes I want to, but I don’t for the simple fact of, it’s not everyone’s business, there are things you keep to yourself and there are things you only share with close people…..

Sometimes though, you don’t even want to share it with the people around you either, because you feel like it will only burden them and it’s best to not say anything and deal with it yourself! However it can get a lot to handle and sometimes you don’t know what to do, but you keep trying anyway, even when you know you should probably stop…..and you want to stop, but then just when you think that everything is good…..it comes right back and you’re there having to deal with it again! You keep strong though and you push through!

but life will keep pushing you until you do something and that could either be approaching the situation and facing the music or you leave it alone and sometimes life pushes you, for you to leave it alone or for you to finally say “THAT’S IT, NO MORE” I guess it all comes back to choosing your battles knowing when to fight or to just surrender, lay down the sword and walk away…..sometimes that’s hard because it could mean leaving something that was once important to you behind…..but at some point you have to realize that you can’t fight every battle and you can’t be the one to fix everything! You can be there for people and you help them in the best way possible, but if they refuse to listen and just continuously bring nothing, but drama after drama, you have to think about what’s best for you and your health!

Ask yourself if you want to keep fighting this fight!? Don’t get me wrong some things are definitely worth fight for, like love, happiness and whatever else you feel is worth it! That being said…..there are things that don’t need to always be fought over and if you find yourself stuck in the same old storm and fighting the same battle constantly, eventually you’re not going to have enough energy left to fight or just use for yourself and that’s where you’ll need to worry because without energy, you’ve already lost the battle….so save your energy and use it wisely on what to use it on!

Did I Mention It’s March Already!? Yeah……

Soooo for those who didn’t know, which i’m sure you might’ve, but if not, we had a leap year this year which means that the month of February had a extra day in it and I gotta say, yesterday was probably one of the longest days ever, well at least it felt like was, the day kinda took it’s time yesterday which isn’t bad, it was just pretty long is all, but February is now over and we have entered the month of March……already!? I say this, but March kinda took a while to get here I suppose, if you really think about it, each month so far has really, taken it’s time, which doesn’t happen often…….

Maybe it’s just the year for it, who knows really……Man March has started out with quite the approach, a lot is happening to where you’re just having to feel prepared, yet sometimes you wonder if you’ve prepared the proper way for it, does that make sense!? Some things can still seem unclear,

but you’re having to trust that things will work out fine, even when you’re finding it a little hard you know!? I guess we just need to roll with the punches as best as we can and keep positive even when we’re having to push through it all……..it’ll be alright though, sure it may seem like it’s everywhere and we’re having to take it as it’s coming, but it’ll be alright, the month just started right!? We gotta have some positive mindset on it.

Calm…..It’s Okay To Feel You Know!?

Close your eyes and breathe relax and breathe……it’s okay, you’re okay, we are okay. Don’t think that it’s not okay to feel the way you are feeling right now, it’s alright, everything’s alright, I know all these feelings are swirling around and it don’t quite feel all that nice, but it’s going to be fine!!

Don’t think that you shouldn’t feel what it is you’re feeling, they’re meant to come out, it may not make sense to why they’re coming out, but you’re having to release them for a reason……it’s been sitting there for quite some time now, it’s time to let them out…….just because it’s confusing considering how the days been, it’s been pretty alright yeah!?

I know you’re feeling sorry and guilty for letting whatever is going on out, but you shouldn’t be, we all need to let it out sometime, even if it doesn’t quite make sense to when it feels the need to come out, it’s time to heal, allow yourself to heal the way it’s happening and don’t be so hard on yourself about it, allow yourself to feel those emotions and know that it’s for a reason and it’s okay…..it’ll take some time, but be patient……

You’re doing alright, so there’s no need to stress yourself out about it, just trust that everything is going to be alright and it’ll all work out in time, trust yourself and believe in yourself as well, don’t fret it’s all going to be alright!! 🙂

Topic Of The Day: Why Is It That Our Voices Sound Weird To Us Then To Others!? (Inspired Blog Post)

Hey there everyone hope you’re all having a lovely day, so today’s blog post is gonna be a little different, normally when I go to write a new blog post I normally don’t know what to write about, today however I do, while I was having my coffee I went and watched some youtube videos just to kinda start off my day a bit and one video caught my attention, it was very interesting and I learned a lot from it, if you are interested in watching the video you can watch it here: Why You Don’t Like The Sound Of Your Own Voice

The speaker touching upon this topic is named Rébecca Kleinberger in the video she talks about the way our voices are and why we don’t like the sound of our own when we hear it back recorded. Did you know that our voices change depending on who we’re speaking to!? Also the way our voices are can determine a whole lot of different things such as depression, certain diseases and just a whole lot of interesting stuff. She also talked about how Alexa the device can tell when you’re pregnant before you even know based off your voice!! that probably sounds weird and you’re probably like “yeah okay” but seriously watch the video she’ll explain it better than I can, when I heard that I was like “WAIT WHAT…….SERIOUSLY!? ” everything she discussed when explaining how our voices are, really had my mind going. Who would’ve thought that just based on our voices so much can be detected and figured out!? That is some mind-blowing stuff there.

The reason I wanted to talk about this was because she also talked about how our voices the way we hear them, is completely different to how everyone else hears them as we all know, but what really had me go “Huh, I didn’t know that” (well there was a lot of different things that made me say that haha) but the main thing that caught my attention was when she talked about how when our voices are being recorded and we hear it back, it sounds weird to us, which is very true. I remember the first time I recorded a video of myself singing and hearing my voice back, was the weirdest thing to me because when you sing whether it’s your profession or just for fun, hearing it out loud whether you have a good singing voice or not is different to when you hear it on video or just when listening to it through audio, it can also be the same when you’re just talking.

Whenever I would record a video for my channel with just me speaking, it still sounded weird to me and I always thought…..”Is that what I sound like, why is my voice so deep!?” (my voice being so deep was the main thing though) it always just sounded like a completely different person to me. I remember I would ask my friends how my voice sounds when i’m talking to them and they never could give me an answer, it would always just be one of those what do you mean kind of questions and i’d explain to them how deep my voice was to me when I would speak to them on the phone in person. To them though my voice sounded fine, so i’d always say that maybe it was just me.

I would always still wonder why it was, my voice sounded so weird when being recorded to when i’m just speaking and from listening and taking in what Rébecca (the speaker) was explaining, I found out why that is, the way she explain it was we have, 3 different kinds of voices, outward voice, inward voice and inner voice. I hope i’m not confusing you, i’m trying my best to explain what she was saying in my own words, so I hope i’m coming across okay.

She also talked about how, the way we hear our own voice, she described it as having a mask on and trying to see that mask (more like hear since we’re talking about voices) but not having much luck seeing it, due to the fact that when we try to see the front of the mask, we just end up seeing the inside of it. She then explained how our inner voice is pretty much the puppeteer behind our outward and inward voice and how our brains don’t really pay any mind to our voice, if that make sense, for example think of it like this: You’re talking to someone, be it friend or someone you just met and you’re having this conversation right, yet you feel like you’re just talking to yourself and when you ask that person if they’re listening to you they go “yeah I hear you” and then you go, “yeah i know, but are you listening though!?” that’s what our brain does it hears the voice we speak, but doesn’t actually listen to it, it’s quite funny to think about because you would think your brain would be listening to you, only to find out it’s not, I hope i’m explaining everything okay, i’m trying really hard to make sense here, but i’m not sure if I am haha.

What I was trying to get at was how amazing it is knowing that a lot can be picked up just based off the sound of our voices and how different it is to us when we hear it being recorded compared to just talking normally, as well as to how other people hear it. There was another thing that she said and what she said was because our voice is something we hear the most, we actually hear it less, which can be very confusing to a lot of people, but it has to do with the way we hear it within ourselves compared to when it’s being projected out in the air, I can’t really explain it well so i’ll let her explain that part. It’s amazing though, it really is!! You don’t really think about stuff like that because it’s just  something you do casually, so you don’t really pay that much attention to it, but when you really look at it from that side of town you find that there’s always so much more to something and that right there is incredible.

There was a whole lot that she spoke on, but the last thing I want to talk about that I learned was how when it comes to our inner voice, we all know that sometimes it’s impossible to turn it off at times, but for some it’s much more difficult to stop which is why people with schizophrenia deal with all the emotions that they do, because they aren’t able to make out the difference voices coming from inside and outside their heads and with that kind of information you kinda are given a glimpse to the way their minds work knowing they aren’t able to tell the difference between their inner and outward voices and with that it can also give you a different perspective on the mental illness they go through on a daily basis.

I really enjoyed that video, it was actually quite interesting to learn because again you wouldn’t normally think about why our voices sound different to us compared to when others are hearing it, along with how our voices can pretty much tell you a lot about yourself…….it’s weird and fascinating at the same time, but yeah I enjoyed that a lot, anyway that’s my blog post for today just something different, fun, interesting at least I hope it was ha.
