Up Next: The Reveal Of The Final Smash Character….Thoughts and Reaction

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! Hope you’re all doing alright and although late, I hope you had a good weekend as well! Now before you think I’m about to tell you who on earth the final Super Smash character added to Ultimate is…..I just want to it to be clear that I still have to learn who it is! I’m just writing out my final thoughts before it is announced who is shall be!

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m quite excited to see who Nintendo has decided will be the final character to be approaching and added to the Super Smash Ultimate roster…..update: I hadn’t yet finished this post before I saw the reveal, I started writing this early morning, but didn’t get to quite finish! I recently just learned who the last final smash character is, now in case some of you have yet to see it….I won’t go spoiling it here, although I ended up getting spoiled on the new added character myself I’m not going to do that to anyone else…..note to self, don’t go on Twitter the day of special announcements that you’re looking forward too…..always a big mistake!

Now even though I will keep away with the spoilers here, I will reveal who it was and give my honest thoughts and reaction to what I felt when I finally saw the trailer earlier tomorrow on my podcast so if you would like to check that out, just stay tune to my thoughts on that! I know I could just tell you who it was, but before I do that, I want to make sure that I give my best thoughts to the reveal, plus I kind of already decided to have my reaction as a podcast episode anyway, hence why I’m not saying everything here!

Sorry if this is a short post, originally this was supposed to be my before thoughts to who the character was going to be before the actual reveal happened….buuut seeing that I went onto twitter forgetting that we were getting this announcement earlier today….my fun guesses are now invalid sooo this is now an update post, well slight update anyway! I’ll write another post tomorrow after I’ve recorded the episode talking about Super Smash with any other thoughts that I might’ve not said in the episode already! You guys have a good night!

Thoughts Of July….

Good Evening everyone! Hope your weeks been well so far, it’s Tuesday almost Wednesday and we’re nearing the end of this month….I just came to the realization of that today that we’re in the last week of July! We’ve got one more Summer month to go that is August and right after that we will enter the Autumn season, crazy, crazy, crazy!! I don’t even know what exactly to say when it comes to this month, I mean a lot has happened within this month that was a little unexpected, but it’s been good I feel….I had a new experience and adventure this month and there’s a lot of changes that has either been occurring or in the works if that makes sense!?

Overall though, this month has been surprisingly good, I’d say, but it’s also been on the mixed side as well in terms of pretty good and it’s had it’s days, but other than that….I honestly don’t know what else to say, I probably said a bit of it in my last post and most of my feeling of this month in my latest podcast episode so whatever you don’t see me say here, you’ll either see some of it in my last blog post, well sorry the one before my last one, my July 22nd post or you’ll hear me talk on it in my Podcast episode! I won’t lie, the fact that the month is just coming to an end, feels surprising to me even though, it felt like it was here for sooo long as weird as that sounds…..this year in general, just feels like one day it’s speeding by and the next is just taking it’s sweeet time, not that that’s a bad thing, it’s just how I feel it to be!!

Could be different for everyone else which is most likely the case yano!? buut yeah…..not a lot of thought writing wise for this month, but I do still have thoughts which I shared in some way or form, maybe not in this post, but in my 22nd of July post and my latest podcast episode! I hope you all have been well and I hope that July has been good to you, that you enjoyed it and whatever you had planned for this month or what you didn’t have planned to where it just showed up randomly and unexpectedly…..I hope that it was good and that it made you happy or maybe you learned something new, experienced something new, whatever this month brought you, I just hope that it all went well for you,

Maybe you’re still being patient for it to arrive and when it does, I wish nothing, but the very best for you all and I hope it goes well regardless to how it shows up for you….those are my thoughts of this month, I know it’s probably short, but sometimes short is good, you don’t always have to say so much, but if you want and feel you want to that’s okay, it’s how ever you feel you want to express!!

June 31st….Oh Wait No It’s July….

This is just a joke guys, I know there isn’t a 31st in June…..a little shocking that we’re in July already…..I think everyone is surprised, it don’t feel anything like July yet, it’s a bit weird, hopefully the start of the month has treated you all well so far, even though we literally just started, the one thing I can say is that we’ve entered the month of my blog anniversary, it’s not yet….but it is coming soon and I have no idea what I should do for it…..I’ve been trying to come up something different to do, we’ll be going on 3 years here on the 11th of this month, 2 more weeks….actually a week from this Sunday coming up, so not this Sunday the following one, just making sure I’m making sense here!

Now I know that I’m not really looking to do anything too grand for my 3 years of blogging, I’m not really a showy kind of person, but I do want to do something special, now I’ve been thinking about this….had I not already brought in a podcast 4 months early that could of been a cool thing to bring in, but it’s here now, which is good, I’m happy that I decided to give it a go when I did! By the way it’s actually 3 months not 4, I introduced the Podcast here on the 3rd of April, but my first episode was uploaded the 19th of March, although on Spotify it will say the 20th, same as when Animal Crossing New Horizons was released (don’t ask) yeah I know, not sure why I did it like that, I think I just wanted to test it out before anything, at least that’s what I’m thinking!

But yeah, Podcast is already a thing soooo, I have to add something else, I did have some things in mind…..one of them I’m going to do when the anniversary arrives, it’s just a post that I’m going to do talking about what it’s been like blogging for 3 years….nothing too special there, but besides that I’m still trying to figure out what would be good to bring here….I could always poll it and have you guys be apart of it, which I wouldn’t mind, I’d love to include you guys, only if you want that is! I could add some choices I have in mind that you could choose from ooor if you have any suggestions on what you’d like to see/read mainly, if anything comes to mind, I could also go based on topics that I did before that you want me to do more of, for example Now Playing….you can choose an artist or song that you want me to listen to and I will give my thoughts on that artist/song the best way I can, stuff like that, just to shake things up, but of course, it’s your choice if you want to do that!!

I don’t know, I just want to do something different this time around and I would love for you guys to be apart of it with me, it’s been quite the journey, even though somedays it doesn’t feel like it, I can’t believe we’re close to 3 years on here though, SUPER close too….I know we’ve got some time left to decide, but I just thought I’d write about where my mind has been these past few days on the very first day of July! Have I mentioned how it doesn’t quite feel like July yet!?

Let’s Talk: Girl Meets World (Thoughts)

Top of the afternoon…sorry I know I’ll stop….hope you all are having a good one though! I got a question does anyone remember a show called Boy Meets World!? Well if you have then you probably know that it had a spin off which is the title of this post, Girl Meets World and it was pretty good, if you’ve never heard of it though that’s okay, but if you never heard of Boy Meets World, well then, you either live on an isolated Island, are not from these parts of the world or you’re probably an alien…..no I’m kidding, I know that not everyone watches the same shows, you probably just genuinely never heard of these shows or you have, but it never caught your interest, it’s all good!

Boy Meets World was a very good show that was around in the early 2000s that showcased a lot of lessons and taught a lot of stuff and had some pretty good characters too, with the likes of Corey Mathews, Topanga Lawrence, Shawn Hunter, Corey’s older brother Eric you know those fond faces! Now Girl Meets World is the again spin off of that well beloved show, but this time we’re introduced to Corey and Topanga’s daughter Riley and son Augie, as well as Riley’s best friend Maya, Farkle, Lucas, Zay (might be with an e and not with a y, I’m not sure) and let’s include Smackle why not, I mean she was a big part of the show as well!

Now Girl Meets World has the same concept that Boy Meets World did, but instead of it being about Corey’s journey and life experiences, it focuses on Riley and her friends journey into the World and what they will experience, well more like what they learn, which I love, I enjoyed seeing the different perspectives that they wanted to share with this show, just like in the original show, you’re learning along with Riley, Maya, Farkle and everyone about what’s out there in the big unknown and the experiences that come with that, but not only that, but you also get a nice show to sit back and relax to and it’s a show that is for everyone, it’s got a nice comedy flow to it in it’s own little way, it was a really good show and I wish that it didn’t end so quickly, I wish that it had been able to shine more the way it deserved, but you’ll see me discuss more on that in a podcast episode that I just finished wrapping up on in a few moments!

This show is amazing, I love this show and even though it’s not getting any new episodes, I still like going back and see the episodes and watching my favorite ones and just enjoying it, I feel it had the potential to go far and for a while it did, but not as far as I feel it could’ve gone, but if Girl Meets World is something you’re curious about I would definitely recommend giving it a watch, but if you what to get the whole experience and understand the concept that the show has to it, I’d say watch Boy Meets World and then Girl Meets World, because they do intertwine with one another here and there, which is amazing, but what I will say is, if you do end up watching both, just keep in mind that,

Even though they’re similar, because that show is coming from the original they are also different! Girl Meets World has a whole different element to it then Boy Meets World, so I wouldn’t say to compare it because they both have their own way of expression, sometimes they’re will be references so you might get something from the old show in the new show, but you’ll also get something different, I feel Girl Meets World to be it’s own thing and has a very unique charm to it, I love BMW as it is and GMW as it is and I would just suggest if you watch the two try not to compare it too much, it’s meant to be of a different perspective, if you happen to compare the two well then you do, I can’t stop you from expressing how you feel, but GMW is it’s own thing, it’s meant to be enjoyed differently and the lessons within the show can be ones that you learn as well or ones that you just enjoy the characters learning!

What I love about the show are the characters, they all have something unique about them, Riley is the most optimistic Ray of sunshine you will get, Maya is the COMPLETE opposite to Riley, but they work very well and always mange to balance each other out, Farkle he’s one of the smartest, weirdest characters, but he can read you like a book and more even, each character has a uniqueness to them and I love it! I love Girl Meets World sad that it didn’t get too stay for a longer time, but I’m glad we got to at least enjoy it while we were able to and shout out to Boy Meets World, I love the original as well!

Let’s Talk: Wrestling For Just A Moment…

Hiya so you probably seen the title, now I know that it’s been quite some time since I’ve spoken upon the topic of wrestling, now I’m only writing this post because I went ahead and spoke about this topic as one of my Podcast episodes, yesterday WWE went and released some of their superstars that have been wrestling for some time now and I felt very surprised with some that they announced have left the company and I had a few thoughts about it so I went ahead and made an episode on it yesterday, however I did forget one person when talking about the wrestlers that had been released and that person was Alesister Black!

I don’t know why I forgot to mention that he’d been released along with the ones I did mention, but for some reason it slipped my mind and thinking about it now…..maybe I forgot to mention him because, he’s probably one of the wrestlers that does leave me surprise on his release of the the company, when I watched wrestling I always thought him to be a very good and well rounded talent that WWE had at the time and to now know that he’s no longer there is a bit weird and probably a big mistake on WWE’s part for choosing to let him go!

That being said however, I also feel that with some of the other announced releases in the likes of Braun Stroman, Lana (I stick by that) Ruby Riott and even the ones that I never really got into….there was so much potential with some of them and for WWE to just say “Sayonora” I don’t know, like I feel they could’ve been used better, most of them had just been sitting on the side lines and if they did get a push or have a match, it just wasn’t all that memorable and that’s where it’s both sad and frustrating when you’re a wrestling fan or even just someone that has watched it a bit and can see potential with some wrestlers and then see them not get used in the way that you would’ve liked them to…

It’s just a shame to see these wrestlers go because in one point in time, they had this great starting career and respected and loved them and if they didn’t love them they still shared their feelings on them and eventually learned to grow with some of them, it’s just crazy, but I know that wherever they venture off too now, I’m sure they’re going to do great things, I wish them all well and I hope they find what their looking for in their next adventure and hopefully they get given a better opportunity that makes they feel happy when doing what they love!

Part of me writing this was to mention Alesister Black because I forgot to mention him, but I wish him well and I know with him, he’s going to get a lot of offers, wouldn’t be surprised if he showed up in AEW, but I wish him well as well as everyone else!

I Just Called To Say I Love You….

I woke up with this song in my head earlier this morning for some odd reason, hence the reason for the title! When I randomly started singing this song I was thinking about how I don’t really sing Stevie Wonder songs out of nowhere to myself unless a Stevie Wonder song comes on, so I like to think that maybe someone is sending a telepathic message to me or something who knows…..to be honest I really don’t listen to this song all that often, I just tend to sing along to it whenever I hear its somewhere, so for it to just come to me randomly like that especially today….is very interesting!

Seeing that we’re talking about the song, I just want to let you know real quick that I only really know the chorus of the song, I think if you were to play it from the beginning and told me to guess what the song is, I wouldn’t know until maybe as it’s just heading into the chorus ha, but then again I might surprise myself I don’t know! I went ahead and looked up what the meaning of it meant and it pretty much said that you don’t need a special occasion to tell someone you love them, sometimes it’s the smallest gestures that will be just enough to where they they know you care about them, it’s a good song even if I don’t really listen to it!

That’s all I have to say for this post, I didn’t really expect to write too much about the topic, I just had the song in my head and felt like sharing on it, but before I wrap up this post, I’ve got a bit of updating to do on where we last left off in my latest post

Update Time:

I just wanted say that I know it’s been a while since my last post, which was two weeks ago yesterday….sorry about that, I’ve been taking a bit of time to give myself a break a bit, not just with writing, but with recording as well on my podcast, which is the first time since I’ve started it that I hadn’t recorded in a while, it was a bit weird if I’m being honest…..I’ve also been a bit under the weather recently, but I should be returning soon to everything! I didn’t forget about where I left off in the last post where I was suppose to share on Alexz Johnson’s latest album Still Alive,

I will be bringing that to you guys, I’ve actually recorded the episode about 3 times…..maybe 5 or so on my podcast and I’ve just not been happy with each one I’ve done, but I really do want to give my thoughts on the album because it really is such a great one and is definitely worth sharing!

So that will be if not the first one back, the next one after whatever the first episode back will be, I haven’t decided just yet….I’m not sure how I’m expecting it to come out, I think just when I feel it to be good enough for me in a sense to where I feel I’ve done my best with it and also to where it’s not an hour long haha, yeaahh so far that’s just how it’s been coming out, but I’m going to get it, I know it! I just hope you all enjoy it when it’s done, sorry for the delay of it I just want to make sure I’m giving the best content that I can give to you guys, be it writing or podcasting even though there are times where I feel I don’t really know what I’m doing on both sides, but I just try to keep doing my best with it and hope that it turns out okay!

Alrighty then, I shall leave you with two things,

Podcasting Schedule….

How’s Everyone’s Thursday Been Going!? Hope you all have been enjoying yourselves, alright so I wanted to write a quick post on the schedule of my podcast episodes, now I’ve been trying my hand on recording podcast episodes for about a month now and at first it was just to give a try and see how I liked it and everything, but since then, I have actually been enjoying myself when recording episodes, I actually really like it! Now I will admit that at first I didn’t really have an actual schedule, I was just posting whenever I recorded a new episode, but I like to think that I have found a good footing on the days that I upload to Anchor and Spotify, I always record my episodes towards the evening on Fridays and sometimes I’ll also upload on that day depending on the length of the episode, if it’s not too long then I’ll have it up then, but if I need to look at it a bit, then you normally see it on a Monday or other days!

Now so far my episode uploads are, Fridays (Recording always, uploads every so often) Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m also going to be adding Saturdays, but just like Fridays it’ll be on certain days only on Saturdays! Now to give you an insight on what my content of the episodes I share at times on my podcast, it’s just a hangout session kind of podcast, I like to share upon topics of music, certain video games and just give my best thoughts to those kind of topics, I also try and share on some thoughts of my own in terms of little reminders and personal things that I might write here on this blog and want to share sometimes on my podcast, just in case I have other things to add that maybe a little too long of post to write! It’s pretty much interest based the content of my Podcast,

I share on loads of different topics mean something to me in the moment! I just want everyone that comes by to have a listen to chill out and hopefully enjoy themselves, because I enjoy myself, so hopefully with a set schedule so far, anyone reading this or listening because this is probably going to be in the next episode that I do, you’ll know when to look out for it, I also post new episodes and even blog posts on my Twitter so if ever you’re unsure to when I upload or just want to catch up or say hi even, you can find me there, my Twitter is literally the name of my blog Life As A Daydreamer I’d like to think I’m pretty friendly, I don’t mind getting to know people and say hi, I can be a bit shy, but I can also be the one to start conversation too depending how I feel haha!

Those are my upload days so far with my podcast episodes, if by any chance I need to change it or I got other things to add on anything, You’ll see it in a new blog post update of course, this promoting thing is very new to me and I can get a bit nervous with it, but I’ve been doing my best with it and everything else I do, which is all I can really do, but yeah if you would like to come by and hang out with me, those have been the days I’ve found myself uploading the most and that’s why I thought I’d just write a post on it! I have a few episodes up now if you would like to have a listen, some are a bit lengthy I’ll be honest, but I do have shorter episodes too, so get cozy, grab a snack, friend, pet, favorite drink and come by and hang out if you like!!

Welcome To The Daydreamer’s Podcast

Happy Saturday, hope you all are having a good day!! Now I know that I haven’t properly talked about this so I thought I’d have this post be the introduction for it…..a late introduction, but an introduction nonetheless!! Now in case a lot of you don’t already know I went ahead and created a podcast, some of you may already know if you’ve read some of my latest posts, but if you didn’t…..I have a podcast now, it’s called Daydreamer’s Podcast and I created it out of curiosity, I was actually writing a post and had just finished posting that post when I saw an opportunity to be able to turn a post into a podcast episode and so that’s exactly what I did, so I kind of have WordPress to thank for giving me the idea of creating one, I only have 2 episodes right now, but so far I’ve been enjoying myself,

I have found that I actually get pretty excited to record the next episode, which is something that comes rarely for me, but this is something I kind of been wanting to do for a bit of a while now, I tend to talk quite a bit and sometimes a lot of the things I want to share can be too long to write in a post and so I thought this was the perfect thing to give a try, It’s something I’ve always thought of doing and it’s something that has literally presented itself to me and why not give it a shot!!

Now the content to my new Podcast is going to be a bit of everything in the sense to the way I do it here on my blog, it’s pretty much interest based, so for example music, video games and sometimes serious topics that I feel I want to share upon and discuss a bit about…..sometimes I’ll even incorporate some blog post topic for the days where I feel I want to express a bit more, the two episodes that are up now were based off two blog posts, but it’s stuff like that! I just want to create a place that everyone can just hang out and hopefully have a good time!! I already recorded a third episode which should be up pretty soon, but if you guys are curious and would like to check out the last two episodes of my podcast, that would really mean a lot to me, you can have a listen to both episodes here:

Ice Breaker….

Helloooo fellow listeners….my name is Alexa….although I prefer to be called by my nicknames which are either Lex or Lexa, whichever one is fine!! Reasons!? Well I just prefer it to my actual full name….Alexa just seems a bit weird to me so that’s why I like being called by my nicknames…..now I am aware that most likely no ones listening to this at the moment, which is fine, this is pretty much just an intro anyway, so it’s not like I’m expecting anyone to tune in right away, we’re golden don’t worry!!

Since this is considered an Ice breaker, let’s talk about breaking the ice for a moment, shall we!? Why is so hard and nerve-wrecking when it comes to sharing something for the first time, why do we get so tongue tied with these kind of things!? It’s a mystery in itself really, it’s not like we’re doing anything extreme, we’re just chatting and sharing things that we care about right!? So why do we need to get nervous for…..I guess if we’re looking at it in a different perspective, we may try to understand it better, even the smallest things can make us nervous, why you may ask!? Who knows, it’s probably just the process of thing.

You may ask, how do you become a master of ice breaking, what’s the best way of just going for it without thinking about it too much and just going for it!? Beats me….no I’m kidding! I’m sure there’s some way of doing it right, maybe!? The answer yes…..it’s just figuring out what works for you, what you feel to be the best way of going about. Maybe the best way for someone is to just the nerves come out naturally until you feel comfortable enough to go “alright I think I got it!!

Another way could be to just get lost in whatever your talking about and let it all flow that way, that sometimes works for me…..most times….one of the best examples of someone who was able to just go for it without much of a thought, the best improviser I could think of right away is Robin Williams! His improvisation for everything he did really, was just mind blowing….like how could someone so quickly get in the zone without knowing what they were going to say or how they were going to say it, how does one deliver such magic like that!? I guess it just comes from trusting yourself enough to know that whatever your doing, however you feel the need to express is going to work out well

A lot of us don’t trust ourselves enough the way we probably should, but who knows us better than us!? I mean even when we don’t know exactly, in some way or form we tend to always surprise ourselves in what we do…..maybe to be the best ice breaker is to just believe in ourselves more, trust that whatever we’re doing, whatever the path and journey that we’re on is the one we’re meant to follow, even if we tend to wonder and get lost along the way, I think if we just let it flow how it’s meant to, we’re going to be fine, it’s all about sticking with it, even when it feels it’s going a bit everywhere!!

For those reading this, I thought I’d try doing this post a little differently, although yes, I’ve written the post I’m also going to be recording this in a podcast type way…..like what you’re probably hearing now, but maybe you’re not, because I’m not sure if this part will be added, I’m trying out the whole “make your post into a podcast” with Anchor by Spotify it’s my first one and I thought let’s try something different and see what happens, but first ones Ice breaker once I’ve recorded it and feel I like it enough, I’ll share the episode here with you guys…..let’s see how it goes!!
