Now Playing: 7 Years By Lucas Graham

This song might be one of the hardest songs to at least try and come up with an opening for! Hope you all are having a nice Wednesday….my Wednesday is a bit all over the place, I had a bit of a sleepless night yesterday so I’m not entirely well rested, but I got a bit of sleep….and I say that because I’m writing this post at the current moment so my mind focus is half way there today which I can deal with!

I’m not really sure how many of you remember this beautiful tune let alone have even heard of it, if you haven’t listen to 7 years By Lucas Graham, I would definitely recommend it, the storytelling within this song will have you in tears and leave you with chills and if it doesn’t I still think that you will feel something with it, I mean I’ve just recently came back to this tune, like I have always know it to be around and there with all the other songs I half and half listen to on my Spotify, but before I could never listen to it often because of how moving and deep it was!

Anytime it would come on, I would skip it, not because I didn’t like it! I love 7 years like I said it’s one of Lucas Grahams best songs that he released, although I don’t listen to a lot of his stuff, I still truly appreciate it for what it is and how deep he was willing to go with the lyrics, but I always had to skip this one and the reason is because I honestly didn’t want to cry every time I heard it! I listened to this song TWICE yesterday and both times I had tears coming down my face as nerdy as that sounds, but I’ll admit it, I can’t help myself when I hear good music and to me 7 years is good music!

It’s like that with a few songs truthfully, but we’ll just keep on the topic here, I don’t know what it is about this song, it really gives you mixed emotions in a sense of you hear it and you can’t help, but to hear it more than once to really take in the lyrics, however you also don’t want to listen to it, because of how well it pulls at your emotions and gets you to really think and understand the perspective he was singing from.

It leaves you feeling as though with each lyric…..it’s not just a personal thing for him, but it feels like a personal thing to you as well, there’s a lot that is relatable about the song which is why you would feel it deep within the soul and core of yourself! It’s funny because, it was this year that this song sorta came back to me, it was when I went to PR for the first time and I heard it on the radio and as much as I wanted to skip it, I could not so I had to listen to it, after that trip though, I hadn’t heard it for a few months, until around maybe mid November I want to say to….I stop listening to music for a bit on Spotify and literally yesterday I heard it again…..

It’s actually pretty fitting for the season seeing that it was released during the month of December and if you really take it in and feel it, you’ll notice how it’s about reflection and what season do we do the most reflecting!? Winter, why!? Well the reason to that is due to the fact that it gets closer to the end of the year and so we tend to recollect every thought, every moment and just everything in general because that’s our way of getting ready for the new year to come and it’s for that reason alone that when you hear this song, you feel the winter atmosphere within it!

It’s cold and not in a heartless way, but in a way of just allowing our minds to wander and ponder about all these unknowing feelings that we kept in for so long, as well as some feelings we didn’t even know we had lingering inside of us until they decided to surface…..and it’s songs like 7 years that really gets you to do some of your own self reflection and understand certain situations better, understand your own or other people’s emotions and all that jazz! It can also help to force out anything that you felt yourself bottle up for a while,

Afraid of sharing what it is what you may have been truly feeling…7 years to me is literally what a sleepless night feels like…..not being able to rest, because you’ve got a million and 5 thoughts coming at you all at once where you feel you won’t be able to sleep until your brain is done getting rid of all those backed up junk mail that we just keep storing away up until it’s time to sort through them always on the days that you may not really want to if I’m being honest….I still feel I have more to say with this song, I don’t know how much more really, but all I know is…..I feel there’s more I would like to add giving my thoughts on the song, I’ll stop here and if I have any other feeling on it, I’ll write it down and share them, maybe as an upcoming episode or video…..if not then I’ll just part 2 it as a blog post….we’ll see how it goes!

If you’re interested in checking out the song, I’ll share the link to it for you guys! That’s everything for now, I hope you all have a good rest of the day, take care, stay safe and I’ll see you soon!

Ice Breaker….

Helloooo fellow listeners….my name is Alexa….although I prefer to be called by my nicknames which are either Lex or Lexa, whichever one is fine!! Reasons!? Well I just prefer it to my actual full name….Alexa just seems a bit weird to me so that’s why I like being called by my nicknames…..now I am aware that most likely no ones listening to this at the moment, which is fine, this is pretty much just an intro anyway, so it’s not like I’m expecting anyone to tune in right away, we’re golden don’t worry!!

Since this is considered an Ice breaker, let’s talk about breaking the ice for a moment, shall we!? Why is so hard and nerve-wrecking when it comes to sharing something for the first time, why do we get so tongue tied with these kind of things!? It’s a mystery in itself really, it’s not like we’re doing anything extreme, we’re just chatting and sharing things that we care about right!? So why do we need to get nervous for…..I guess if we’re looking at it in a different perspective, we may try to understand it better, even the smallest things can make us nervous, why you may ask!? Who knows, it’s probably just the process of thing.

You may ask, how do you become a master of ice breaking, what’s the best way of just going for it without thinking about it too much and just going for it!? Beats me….no I’m kidding! I’m sure there’s some way of doing it right, maybe!? The answer yes…..it’s just figuring out what works for you, what you feel to be the best way of going about. Maybe the best way for someone is to just the nerves come out naturally until you feel comfortable enough to go “alright I think I got it!!

Another way could be to just get lost in whatever your talking about and let it all flow that way, that sometimes works for me…..most times….one of the best examples of someone who was able to just go for it without much of a thought, the best improviser I could think of right away is Robin Williams! His improvisation for everything he did really, was just mind blowing….like how could someone so quickly get in the zone without knowing what they were going to say or how they were going to say it, how does one deliver such magic like that!? I guess it just comes from trusting yourself enough to know that whatever your doing, however you feel the need to express is going to work out well

A lot of us don’t trust ourselves enough the way we probably should, but who knows us better than us!? I mean even when we don’t know exactly, in some way or form we tend to always surprise ourselves in what we do…..maybe to be the best ice breaker is to just believe in ourselves more, trust that whatever we’re doing, whatever the path and journey that we’re on is the one we’re meant to follow, even if we tend to wonder and get lost along the way, I think if we just let it flow how it’s meant to, we’re going to be fine, it’s all about sticking with it, even when it feels it’s going a bit everywhere!!

P.S.

For those reading this, I thought I’d try doing this post a little differently, although yes, I’ve written the post I’m also going to be recording this in a podcast type way…..like what you’re probably hearing now, but maybe you’re not, because I’m not sure if this part will be added, I’m trying out the whole “make your post into a podcast” with Anchor by Spotify it’s my first one and I thought let’s try something different and see what happens, but first ones Ice breaker once I’ve recorded it and feel I like it enough, I’ll share the episode here with you guys…..let’s see how it goes!!

Update:

Podcast post created, most of what’s said is here, but there’s a little bit of extra stuff added as well, hope you enjoy: https://anchor.fm/lexa-marie3/episodes/Ice-Breaker-Blog-Post-et257u

Today Is Monday…..

Monday’s are something aren’t they!? I mean you never really know what kind of Monday you’re in for, I mean you never actually know what kind of day you’re in for, for that matter, let alone Mondays……but if the week starts on a weird note and it’s a Monday……you’re going to be in for quite the day!!

How do you prepare or know the best way to handle situations that ended up doing a big 180 out of nowhere!? Well for one you try and stay as calm as possible and make sure to keep centered even when you start to shift a little, now that can sometimes be a little hard, but it’s all in the way you handle the ripple that has occurred, ripples as we all know are just small effects that happen when some kind of vibration comes into contact with it.

Now it’s not a huge effect, however it can still cause a bit of a disturbance, based off the way it arrives out of nowhere, but even when that happens just know that it’s only a slight one, for it to become a bigger one, you’d have to let it really get to you, but by letting it effect you greatly even when it’s for a short moment, you allow your energy vibration to be effected.

We want to avoid that, it may not always be easy, but in the times where we want to scream because everything is being flipped upside down and the day is just becoming a real mad one, just try and focus on the way the ripple actually looks and not the effects that it brings with it, when we choose to focus on the upside of a situation even when it may not seem like a big upside, we not only keep our energy level’s at bay, but we sometimes notice how nice the ripple on the water looks when it’s hit with something.

Also when things get a bit on the tense side of town, just take a couple of breaths and breathe, it may take a while to get back into a relaxed state, but it helps!! Just because there’s a small ripple in the water for a moment doesn’t mean we aren’t able to get through it, it just takes a bit of calm to do so, but don’t worry not all Monday’s are that bad, they’re just Mondays!!

No Need To Try So Hard…..

Ask yourself this question…..why do we try so hard!? Did you answer it!? If so what did you say!? When we try hard to get things right, most often we find that it turns out not so right all the time, why is that!? Well it’s exactly what it is, we’re trying too hard, when in reality, we don’t need to.

Now you might be saying to yourself, well how else are we meant to do it!? Try hard a little less possibly….!? Yes I know how exactly!? Well for one, we gotta relax and chill out, breathe and let things flow at a natural state,

When we try too hard, we create resistance, which also invites stress, causing us to feel overwhelmed by everything and let me tell you it’s not a great feeling you know……we’re only adding pressure to ourselves by doing that, if we constantly worry about things not being a certain way and trying to get it right all the time, we wouldn’t have things be as natural as they are would we!? It’s okay to push yourself harder then you might normally at times, but when you start trying so hard to the point where you’re stressing yourself out, that is the moment where you need to step back and take a couple of breathers otherwise, you’re going to drive yourself mad.

Although it’s great to want to push yourself to be better, we don’t always have to try so hard to do that, we can do that and do our best all at the same time, minus the stress and feelings of being overwhelmed, just because something may seem or feel not all that great, doesn’t mean that is isn’t all that great, sometimes we may need to just relook at things or tweak something in order for it to make sense and come out right…..

It’s good to go on what you feel, but sometimes what we may feel to be not so good in our heads, actually isn’t all that bad, just keep that in mind……

No Use Crying Over Spilled Tea…..Literally!!

We’ve entered a week now in the month of January, what does that mean!?…..that we just entered a week within the new year pretty much, nothing else to it really just that, the day started out pretty well…..

I say well in a both sarcastic and regular way, spilled some tea this morning and I don’t mean just regularly, I mean I SPILLED IT!! You should get what I mean by that when I say it, it was great though, nothing like a very hot tea spilling on you early in the morning, yeah loved it, wouldn’t have asked for anything better (no but seriously it was really hot it and it burned) luckily though I was able to change, it wasn’t too bad though, but still no one likes hot tea or any hot beverage for the matter spilling on them you know!?

I blame the honey I was trying to add to it for being so rock solid that it knocked over, but hey it happens, it’s fine!! I know I haven’t quite written in the past three days, I just hadn’t had anything I wanted to write about so I thought i’d leave it for when I knew I had something, plus I thought i’d be nice to be able to write once it hit a week for this month and year, why!? I really don’t know, but it just seemed good when I thought about it!!

Today just probably wasn’t the best day in terms of things going on properly the way they should’ve, but sometimes you just gotta make yourself another tea and go with what the day has set up for you, even if it happens to be specifically one of those type of days you know!? Overall though, the day wasn’t too bad, it was okay, sure the day wasn’t on my greatest side,

but I took it as best as I could, what else can you do right!? I tell you though if the day was actual person and you could speak to it, yeah it would have the time of it’s life, it’s like your best friend just randomly feeling the need to prank you for whatever reason you couldn’t guess, but you just go along with it because, you know their just going to keep at it no matter what you say……that’s how i’m choosing to look at it anyway!!

Better to look at it in a some kind of good light then stressing over it and choosing to react negatively to it, it’s easy to do that, it’s harder to view from a more lighter perspective and give a situation of some sort a more positive outlook or at least somewhat of a decent outlook, sometimes things don’t align right at/in that very moment in the way you think it’s going to go and sure it’s not always the greatest feeling when that happens,

but it doesn’t mean it won’t come together and intwine, it will!! You just got to have those kind of trip up days a bit and when you least, least expect it, you’ll see it come together properly, patience is key here!!

It’s not always an easy thing to keep in mind, but staying calm as best as possible and keeping patient is what is needed in order to not freak out.

So how was your day!?

Let’s Sit And Chat: A Topic I Didn’t Think I’d Discuss….. Not This Much Anyway

I started out with a good amount of energy and now I have no idea where it went or is…….where’d it go I do not know. Since my energy is no where to be seen, how about we just sit and chat and talk about some random stuff, it’s been a while since we’ve connected on a deeper level.

Today’s chatting session is all about the thoughts i’ve had today, the first and main one had to do with the spiritual side, why!? For reasons let’s just say…..also because I was just thinking about it today, my brain activity was more active today then it’s been for a while, I don’t think i’ve ever asked myself a million and one questions before, especially not upon this topic,

but recently i’ve just been really curious about it, when it comes to the spirit world it’s very interesting because we don’t really know all that much about it you know!? We do and we don’t at the same time, but we would be fools to think that it doesn’t exist, I mean some people may not believe in that whole thing, but there are some that do, we don’t really know exactly what is beyond this life, where do we go, what else is there!?

Also for those who have brains that freak out with this kind of topic, just stay calm okay, believe me I know the feeling of those questions, just breathe, everything’s okay, it doesn’t hurt to be a little curious. We all know about energy, I mean we are energy really, if you didn’t already know well now you do, although i’m sure you didn’t need me to say that…..when it comes to the spirit world it’s one of those things that our brains have a hard time comprehending because of the fact that, we aren’t really able to see it

Unless you have that ability to do so, this is for those who have that talent and yes people do have that ability, but people who are skeptics or have a different viewpoint, probably won’t believe that sort of thing is for real, but we won’t go too much into that, people can have their viewpoint and believe what they want or they don’t have to believe anything at all, everyone has a right to their own perspectives and everything.

Which is respectable, there’s a lot of things that we have not the slightest clue on, for example, the ocean it’s massive, we know that for a fact so we don’t know what exactly is deep within the ocean, we’re still discovering new and weird species there and who know what is able to live deep with the places we as humans have never been to because we wouldn’t survive trying to find out, the only way we would be able to is:

1. Become a species that is able to live deep down in the dark and unreachable bounds of the unexplored ocean

or

2. Try and make a submarine that is able to with stand the depths and dark unreachable bounds of the unexplored ocean.

The second one might be in works, I mean I wouldn’t doubt it, but you get what i’m saying, just like the ocean and most of science and unanswered questions of the world, just like those things the spirit world is also quite complex, but it’s not as well, sure there are unexplainable things to it and we don’t always know everything unless you become connected to it, but just to put it simply, just because we don’t know or are unable to see with our eyes to know how real it actually is, it doesn’t mean it’s not real……

It’s just very complex to comprehend and it’s something that most people would choose to stay away from, which is understandable because you do have to be careful with it, but I wouldn’t say it’s all bad. In someways it can be looked at as comforting……i’m not sure if that’s the right word I should be using because most people wouldn’t think so, but to some you feel better knowing or having that feeling that you have people who have passed on watching you, not in a creepy way or anything, but more in terms of,

Making sure you’re okay and doing their best to keep you safe and unharmed, as well as having you keep on track, even when you think you aren’t they tend to let you know “you’re fine and that it’s going to be alright”

It’s a very weird and confusing situation at times, but our spirit guides which i’m sure we all have, we just aren’t sure who ours are exactly, but we have them and they make sure we’re good and are always there to help when we need them even though we can’t see them…..have I said very complex already, because yeah this whole topics always leaves me mind-boggled, yet fascinated all at the same time.

I mean sometimes you’ll find you’re presented with a spirit of someone or plural for that matter from the spirit world that you wouldn’t expect to show up, yet they do and most times you’re left think “what, why and how” but then you learn that if that’s happening, it’s because they have a message of some sort for you and sometimes you’ll find they’re just wandering about either because their curious or because they just want to say hi and all that jazz, maybe…..it’s the balance of the thing let’s just say,

With one thing you need something else to hold it or keep it balanced out otherwise it just wouldn’t feel right, we need a bit of in between whatever that in between is.

What are some of your thoughts on this topic!?

Lets Talk Mental Health: Eating Disorders And The Return Of Eugenia Cooney (Long Post)

Quick Note: I started this on the 20th of July, but had to do some more looking over and that, some of my original thoughts I kept in and some I added, I also removed some that I felt weren’t needed, I did my best on this topic so I hope it came out okay and I hope you enjoy the read.

Okay so this is a bit of a hard topic to discuss, i’m not sure how this post is going to turn out, but hopefully it comes out okay…….just a bit of a disclaimer warning, the topic that will be discussed in this post has to do with Eating Disorders so if this is a very sensitive topic for some of you out there and a bit triggering, I understand not wanting to read on, but if you’re comfortable and are okay reading upon this topic then by all means do so…..

When it comes to Mental Health a lot of people don’t really take it as seriously as it should or needs to be and it’s sad because, it’s important to treat it seriously, just because it’s not physical doesn’t mean there’s no effect and that it’s not still harmful……

There’s many different mental health disorders out there, although they’re different, they still share the same effect inside, however there are some that are much more dangerous than others, one of them being Eating Disorders…….i’ll be honest here, I don’t really know too much when it comes to eating disorders, but I have learned a bit about it,

By looking into it a little to get a better understanding and even getting some insights on what it’s like dealing with it and from the knowings of it and the effects it can have on you, lets just say it’s a real tough road walking down, especially when it comes to the recovery process of it.

Now i’m not sure how serious people take Eating Disorders, you would think it’d be one of the topics that is talked about a lot, but when you really think about it, we don’t really hear that much on it, which is a bit surprising because it’s something that should be payed more attention to.

Now I want to talk properly about this, because there’s a lot of things to eating disorders that not many are aware of, most people have a stereotype on it, which isn’t really fair because there are things with it that you won’t know unless you personally lived it, which a lot of us haven’t, but there are some that have or are living it right now and we don’t even know…..

What we may see it as, is completely different to what it actually is like, now my reasoning for wanting to talk upon this topic is for a few reasons, but also because of a video that I watched a few days ago, that was sent to me by my boyfriend who……well had a very similar experience with it…..

I won’t express too much on it though as it’s his story to tell, but he did say it was okay to talk about how he’s been though something similar to the story here……the video that i’ll be giving some insight on is about a Youtuber by the name of Eugenia Cooney, not sure how many of you exactly know of her, maybe you know her well or have just heard about her……a few days ago, Shane Dawson (another Youtuber) made a video on Eugenia,

I don’t know how familiar some of you are with Shane or if you even watch any of his videos, but he has a few series that he does, one of them is focused on helping people and sometimes even going back and revisiting pasts things that he hasn’t really been able to face before, it’s pretty good, i’ve watched a hand full of them……this specific video however, discusses Eugenia and her struggles with her Eating Disorder…….

I gotta say, this video has to be one of the most serious videos, Shane’s ever done and he’s made quite a lot…….I don’t know a whole lot about Eugenia Cooney, i’ve heard of her and have seen her before, but i’ve never actually watched any of her videos…..watching this video though, i’ll admit was really hard, it was also very emotional, I held my breath a lot watching it.

It’s kinda tough to describe this video, I feel it’s something you have to watch for yourself in order to really understand the situation and everything with it, but what I will say, is that you learn a lot from this while gaining insights to what it’s like for those who suffer from eating disorders, as well as learn on the different types of eating disorders and what kind of things happen with those types, if that makes sense!?

There’s a lot of mixed emotions in this video, although it’s very serious, there’s also some pretty nice light hearted and good moments within it as well, there was a few moments in the video that were a bit hard to watch, one of the moments was when they would show Eugenia’s videos….

Now I don’t know if it was a streaming kind of video that she did or a live chat event, but there was this girl and i’m not going to say what she said because you’ll see it in the video if you watch it, but…..

She started off with a very sweet and lovely comment to Eugenia letting her know how pretty she is which was really nice…..a few moments later however, she said something that…..probably shouldn’t have been said, it was that uncomfortable of a moment that I had to actually pause the video.

I mean i’m sure the girl didn’t intend for what she said to come out the way it did or anything, I mean you knew she was a fan of Eugenia and that she cared, she sounded like a very lovely girl, but I don’t think she understood by her saying what she did especially LIVE, the way she did……really set with Eugenia, like you could literally see the change of expression on her face and her eyes, it was one of the toughest moments to see in the video…..

Sometimes we don’t realize the things we say, as well as the way we say them, to us it may not be that bad…..however to others it’s a whole different story, especially when you see or know someone is going through something difficult that they may not be able to see or may not even know about……it’s important to really think about that kind of thing.

If you know or see someone isn’t well or they’re just getting well again, take a moment to really think about the things you’re saying before you find the words coming out of your mouth…….but i’m sure the girl didn’t mean harm with it, so no blame game here, sometimes we make mistakes, even if it’s the tiniest of ones, it happens, it’s just live and learn that’s all.

There were other moments that were a bit hard to watch, but a specific moment that I also wanted to talk about was not one that was hard to watch per say, but one that made me a bit nervous and that was when it came to Shane asking Eugenia questions on everything…..in the beginning of the video, there was this lady I can’t remember her name, but she was explaining to Shane the different questions you shouldn’t ask someone dealing with an eating disorder and the things you shouldn’t say to them…..

Watching the whole video, I was just nervous, thinking to myself “I hope the questions he’s asking are alright” luckily it all went well with the questions, even though the topic of it was hard as well.

I liked how comfortable Shane made Eugenia feel when he visited her and talked to her, it was real nice, i’m sure she was very nervous about doing this whole thing and talking about it as well, but it was good to see that there wasn’t any awkward moments with it.

There was a lot of moments that were very interesting to learn about within the video, if you want to check that out for yourself to get a better insight about Eating Disorders I linked it for you guys, it’s worth watching.

Watch the video here: The Return Of Eugenia Cooney

Continuing on the topic of Eating Disorders as a whole…..I can’t really say what exactly it’s like dealing with it, because i’ve never actually experienced it before, for people who have dealt with the disorder or are dealing with it now even, I know it’s not an easy topic to talk about it.

This is a real issue that shouldn’t be overlooked…….there are a lot of people who are secretly suffering with this and aren’t asking for help and that kind of thing is scary, because even though they aren’t directly asking for help, in way they are, only they’re going to say it…….

Sometimes it’s hard to see what’s going on in these kind of situations and unless you’re very close to someone, you won’t really see it, you might get hints here and there, but it’s not going to be something you catch on to right away……learning a bit about it, i’ve learned that people who suffer with eating disorders are really good at hiding it, again you may think you’re able to catch on to it quickly, but that’s not always the case.

Something i’d like to point out is that, when we think of eating disorders, our brains naturally and automatically think females suffer from it and that’s because it always been seen as and I know this is probably the wrong way to quote it and I apologize in advance, but it’s always just been seen as a “Female thing only”

When in fact that is faaar from the truth…..on the stereotype side of town, it’s like that, if you only knew the half of it though….because if you did, you’d find out males suffer from it too, maybe even more, we wouldn’t know about that though because a lot of the males that do suffer with an eating disorder, don’t speak up about it and that’s because there’s already a perspective on it, which isn’t right……

When you think of other disorders such as anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder all those things, it’s not just seen as a one sided thing, any person, guy or girl can suffer from them, yet when it comes to eating disorders, it’s only looked at on the females perspective and maybe that has to do with the fact that more females speak up on it, however that doesn’t mean that it should be normalized as just females go through it because that’s not true.

Males that suffer with an eating disorder, don’t really get taken that seriously causing most of them to suffer in silence when they shouldn’t have to……I don’t want to say it’s an image thing, however it kinda is in a way, which is sad because it shouldn’t be like that, we shouldn’t have it where if a male is struggling with an eating disorder they shouldn’t come out about it…….not trying to go away from the topic, but I will for a second,

Only because it’s the same as if someone was being abused, majority of the time, people will only see it from a girls perspective when in fact guys also get abused……yet we don’t talk about that and sometimes that can be one of the main factors of an eating disorder starting because of the way they’ve been treated before, but my point to this though is just like girls,

Guys too can be affect by it, just because we don’t hear much about it, doesn’t mean it’s not happening……we aren’t the only ones that go through rough times, although guys are built to be strong and protect and all that, we need to understand that they too have feelings and they also go through these kind of issues. We shouldn’t be shutting them out and making them feel as though if they do suffer from any sort of disorder or other things in general that they shouldn’t be allowed to share it or speak up about it.

It’s important to not only treat these kind of things seriously, but also treat each individual the same way, especially when dealing and suffering with things like eating disorders and that, everyone should have a right to express they’re emotions and feelings as well as things they’re going through.

We should never make someone feel as though their feelings don’t matter or that the issues they’re dealing with aren’t as important as someone else’s……there’s a lot to learn with this topic, things that may be seen as simple, aren’t always and when it comes to things we think we know on this topic or even someone, there’s a high chance that we have no clue, what we say and how we say it does have an affect, even when we see it as harmless.

Final Thoughts: We don’t know what people are going through and with this kind of thing it’s really important that we take it seriously and try to help in the best way possible, even if we aren’t sure how…….

If you know or sense someone close to you or someone you think needs help is suffering help them, try and be there for them, talk to them and if you’re worried or you aren’t sure what to do, there are people that can help and there’s even numbers to call.

If someone out there is reading this and is suffering with an eating disorder or recovering from one (GUY OR GIRL) know that everything is going to be okay and that there are people that can help you get better, I know it won’t seem like it, but you aren’t alone and again if you’re a guy or a girl whose just starting to recover or have successfully recovered,

I’m proud of you and i’m sure those around you, are proud of you as well (although I don’t know many of you) still, I know it’s a hard road you’re walking or have had to walk before and I know that even though there maybe some of you who have fought through this, I know that the journey of it will never be over as it sticks with you for life, but even though that maybe so, you should be very proud of yourself, not only for how far you came from it,

but also because you went through it and are still going through it, but have stayed strong and continued on, I know it’s not the easiest thing and I know that for some of you, there might even be a time where you fall into a relapse with it, but just know if that does occur don’t feel ashamed about it and don’t think that you did wrong, because you didn’t, you’re not weak or anything like that, it’s just a rebuild and process thing, but it’ll all be alright.

If there are people out there who have had someone in their life relapse or know someone whose relapsed, don’t scold them about it…..reassure them and let them know that you’re there for them, support and love them through those times, because believe me they’re already beating themselves up about it, they don’t need scolding or any of that, all they need is love and support.

There’s still a whole lot more to eating disorders than i’m able to explain, this was just my observation and thoughts on it from what I learned, again i’m no expert and have no experienced with it, the only people that can really tell you what it’s like dealing with it and the situation with it as a whole are the ones that have or are going through it……

If you have any thoughts you want to share or add to any knowledge that you think I should know on the topic of eating disorders go ahead, if there’s something I said wrong or messed up on, please do let me know, in the best way possible of course, I really would like to understand this better.

Last thing, if any of you out there, need a place to go to chat or anything like that, you don’t have to, but you’re more than welcome to here, but if you’re wanting or looking for a bit more help, here’s a few links to websites that might just be what you need and for those who want to understand more about this as well, I left some links for you as too.
