8am Chat……

Good morning everyone, right now it’s around 8:20 in the morning where I am right now, almost 8:30am by the time you see this it’ll probably be past 8, but i’ll try and get this to be up still around the morning time. I hope everyone’s doing alright and are doing their best to keep well, now i’m going to be honest, i’m not really doing the best right now, I didn’t really want to admit that, but it’s how i’m feeling so I feel I shouldn’t keep that in

I woke up a little too early this morning, about i’m going to say 7:30am, 7:40am around those times anyway, but I didn’t get up to about almost 8am…….with everything happening, there’s so much different emotions going around and a lot of people are stressing out, i’ve been trying to keep as calm as I can and stay low on the stress levels, sometimes they want to go high, but I try and keep them intact as best as possible, but I still have moments where I just don’t feel the best and my emotions start kicking in.

It’s funny though, because me and a friend of mine we’re talking yesterday about all of this stuff happening and were saying that even though theirs a lot of negative energy in terms of thoughts and emotions involving everything, we should try and look at the positives to it, now most would say there aren’t any, but there’s always a positive in something right!?

It’s just I guess it’s not easy to find one right now with all that’s going on, it’s kinda like spotting something that’s extra ordinary within a specific place and you see it and you’re so mesmerized by it, as you try and get closer a closer look at it, all these different things start happening all at once, but it’s still in your view to where you can see and just when you think you’ve caught a moment to get closer to it to where you’re almost able to grab it,

Everything just goes and starts back up again…….like seeing a very bright star in the sky in the night sky, you always feel you can grab it, even though it’s like a trillion miles away…..but maybe that’s the good thing to it, as long as it’s still in view, you’ve always got something to leave you feeling hopeful and with that, it lets you know that everything is going to be alright.

The Cycle Continues….(July 10, 2019)

“It’s a circle, I mean cycle” may not seem like the grandest lyrics, but it sure is one of the best lyrics written by the band Paramore, from their song Ignorance, it’s quite simple, yet still affective and one of my picks for the song of the day (if you haven’t heard the song, i’d say give it a listen, if you like that kind of music anyway)

Now i’m not sure if any of what i’m going to write is going to make sense, but let’s see how it all turns out, it might just do……I don’t really understand why some of us do this, why do most of us feel the need to put energy into something that isn’t going to benefit us in the long run!?

Seriously….I mean I get that there are just some things that are hard to ignore, but why bother going out of your way to let certain situations, things and even people affect you!? I could understand if the feeling of the affect is mutual, especially if the affect is coming from certain people, but if you find yourself being the only person getting fired up and agitated all the time, wouldn’t you just leave it alone after awhile!?

Why feed the beast, if you know the beast isn’t going to budge when you’re feeding it!?……I know this is probably a random example, but it came to mind so i’m going to use it, you know in the movie Napoleon Dynamite where he’s trying to feed Tina the Lama or Alpaca dinner (not really sure which one it was, might’ve been a Lama if correct, but I could be wrong)

In the movie he’s trying to feed her, but she’s not eating the food that he’s giving her and you can see, if you’ve watched the movie, how the more he tries to feed her and he sees she’s not eating, the more he ends up frustrated about it…….now i’ve watched that movie a couple times……it’s quite a classic actually, maybe not for everyone and that’s okay.

Thinking back at that scene though, if he noticed she wasn’t eating it right away, had he just maybe given her the food and left it for her to eat when she was actually hungry, it probably would’ve kept his frustration levels low…….what i’m trying to get at is, instead of getting angry or annoyed and letting your emotions run wild as well as continuing to have your stress levels on the roof all the time,

Try just leaving it……actually scratch that, leave it alone, keep it from affecting you so much to the point where it starts affecting everyone else around you, because you may think that your the only one that feels the way you’re feeling, but deep down whether we want to see it that way or not, deep down we know that our moods and the energy that we tend to bring out, affects everyone that is near……

However when it comes to people and certain situations that’s giving you more of a cloud over your head, it doesn’t necessarily mean that person or situation is going to put the same cloud over everyone else’s head, the only thing that will affect everyone is the kind of energy that is being put out…..so if your energy isn’t the greatest and sucks (sorry, yet not sorry) as well as your attitude, It’s going to scatter out on everyone else……

The same way rain falls from the sky and unless you enjoy gloomy days (I do at times, not always, I enjoy rain though) I would avoid or at least minimize and not bother as much on the things, situations or people that really doesn’t keep you on at least a good neutral scale.

If it’s affecting you more than it should and it’s taking you away from having some kind of peace of mind, stop going out of your way to feed it, stop worrying about it, just take the Beatles advice and “Let It Be”

It’s not worth your energy, time or sanity……if we can be good at avoiding calls and messages to some people, than we can manage to not put ourselves in harms way with things that drives us up the wall. We have the ability to tune people out, which by the way isn’t always ideal, because it’s important to listen to people when something is being said, even if we don’t want to hear it and we’ve all been there and done that many times…..

Overall, don’t worry about things that aren’t your things to worry about, especially when it involves only you with a sword, just focus and worry about you, as well as the things and people that keep you grounded.

Listen To Yourself When It Tells You Not To Listen To YourSelf

I know the title’s probably confusing you guys, so i’m gonna explain it in the best way that I can on what I mean. The reasoning for this title is, because we all have a habit of going so deep within ourselves, well more like our minds like to make us go deep with ourselves and pick every flaw we have, as well as choosing memories that we try to avoid, all because it just likes putting all these negative emotions and feelings in front of us, so that way we go off track and wander off into that neck of the woods, even when we tell ourselves to avoid that part of the woods, sometimes we listen and sometimes we go and wonder off anyway. 

We all have moments where the negativity in our heads become so strong that it kinda makes it hard to ignore them and although we try and try to push them aside when they start to creep up, they never like to stay put. Negativity loves to get in our faces and make us believe that everything that we’re feeling, every little thought and worry that we have is worth stressing over and it’s not, it’s really not, yet, no matter how many times we tell ourselves to stop stressing and not think so much on it, we all know that sometimes it’s just easier said then done.

We can have days to where we listen to ourselves about it, but most of the time, although we try, we let our minds win and that’s not good because if we keep letting our minds win when it comes to negativity, we’re always gonna embrace the negatives and you never want that. Unraveling and drowning ourselves in our own negative thoughts………..we’re stronger than that and we don’t need it…….we don’t need it at all and that’s why I say listen to yourself, when it tells you not to listen to yourself. By telling yourself not to listen to your own thoughts anymore, when it comes to the negatives, you give yourself the chance to put your focus onto things, worth focusing on while giving yourself a better outlook and mindset as well.

I know that sometimes it can be super, heck extremely hard to try and keep yourself from going down that neck of the woods, believe me I know, but every time you find yourself or feel yourself wandering off, stop and really think, “Is this thing that i’m stressing on and overthinking really that important and is it doing me any good, am I benefitting from it!? If you find yourself unable to come up with anything useful, then wander off somewhere else because it’s not worth it.  Also remember sometimes we are our own worst enemy and although we should always trust ourselves, sometimes we have to keep ourselves from invading our own personal space at times.
