Let’s Talk: ACNH Group Stretching (Buttons Vs Motion)

Good Afternoon! Even though it’s still technically morning, but it’s also close to the afternoon! Hope you’re all having a good start to the week and that you enjoyed your weekend!! Happy Monday, you know I must say, if I’m being honest Mondays kind of leave me with mixed feelings….some days I actual enjoy it and don’t mind it much, but I also have days where I’m feeling like Garfield the cat thinking to myself “Mondays” I think most people feel that way though when it comes to Mondays usually, where it’s either a hit or miss at times!

I personally don’t consider Mondays to be all that bad, it just depends on how the day is going or how it feels, but I say we should show the day that starts our week a bit of love, I mean it kind of has a bit of a charm to it wouldn’t you say!? To each their own I guess, anyway…..you might be able to tell what this post is going to be like and what it’s about, today I want to talk about Animal Crossing, because if I’m being honest, it’s who I am inside and I love talking about it! I don’t know what it is about this game, but it just always brings so much joy into my life, I can go away from it for a while, but it’s always going to be the thing I come back to and you know what!?

I don’t mind it and I hope that it’s okay and if it’s not well then…..that is perfectly alright, I’m still going to share upon it anyway, because I can’t help myself, it’s what I love and I’m not ashamed to admit that!! Okay now that I’ve got that all out of my system…kind of….let’s discuss the group stretching that Nintendo brought back to us after sooo many years, for those that never played this game or aren’t familiar with the Animal Crossing series, back when the game first released and when I say game, I’m talking about the very first Animal Crossing off the GameCube (What a gem that console was…..that might just be my opinion though)

We were given a lot of cool features, one of them allowed you to get up early and join in on a nice workout session with some of the villagers in town, which was called morning aerobics, literally you had to get up early in order to catch this one, but if you happened to miss it, well then you’d just be watching the villagers work out, if you made it on time, I personally never tried this, I didn’t know at the time that they even had these cool things you can actually join in on, it was after I hadn’t played it in years that I learned about it, I always wanted to experience it though, but then again I didn’t really understand the concept of Animal Crossing back then either…..it wasn’t until New Leaf that I really fell in love with game and started to understand fully what it was actually about!!

So even though I didn’t quite get the game all those years ago even after trying them out and being frustrated and confused on what I was meant to do….it was always this thing I found myself becoming drawn to not really knowing why exactly I was so drawn to it…..but it always left me feeling happy and excited whenever I heard about it, eventually I got the game and the rest is history!!

Back to the group stretching part of this blog…as already stated, Nintendo gave us back something that a lot of people enjoyed from the older games, although it’s called something different, it’s still the same concept to the original! I’ve done the group stretching in New Horizons about 3-4 times now I’d say, the first 3 was just using the buttons which was quite hard, believe it or not, I say that because you have to time it properly otherwise it’s going to look a bit funny, the best way to explain it is….it’s kind of like a rhythm game, It’s the got the same mechanics as if you’re playing Bust a Groove, only you’re there for about 5-10mins max!!

If you even slip up once, just prepare to be lost, while everyone else is in sync and you’re there looking like an Octopus with no control of it’s arms…..okay that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but it’s pretty much like that as well lol! If you’re someone that likes everything in a fashionably order and you love to see everything synched up nicely…..just know you’re going to feel slightly triggered when it’s not like that, mind you I’m just talking about the buttons….I haven’t even gotten to the whole motion side of it yet…speaking of that…..I tried that for the very first time today, group stretching with the motion option using the controllers (you only need one controller by the way) that was….an experience…..but it was a fun experience, I enjoyed it….although I wasn’t quite on beat with everyone, but then again….I’m not really that coordinated with a lot of things, hence why I never played sports back when I was in school….

Fun fact:

Had I played a sport….it would’ve been Football (Soccer) or badminton (fun fact on me just learning that this is an actual sport and not just something that was played for fun) would I had played it as a sport if there was a team….maybe, but also no, I think I prefer to play it just for fun to be fair, but football (Soccer) I would have definitely considered trying out had I played a sport

Me Again…..Group Stretching With The Motion Option (better option in my opinion)

Back to Animal Crossing, regardless to my coordination for certain things, that doesn’t mean I won’t still try my best, now if you were to ask me….which do you prefer buttons or motion!? I would pick motions, for the simple fact that, it’s fun….yes the buttons are fine, but it’s called group stretching which means you need to move, yes I’m not always timed perfectly with everyone….but even when I’m not, I still have a good time doing it, plus I feel the motion option to be a better way to really feel like you’re really participating as well as really bonding with some of your villagers and the NPC’s that join it, most importantly, by choosing the motion option, you’re giving your body the exercise that it needs which means you’re caring for yourself, yes it’s a quick and light workout, but if it’s something you can have fun with, why wouldn’t you want to join in on the fun!?

You have to admit that, it’s pretty flipping cute seeing the villagers and everyone having a good time group stretching, by the way sometimes the villagers and NPC’s go off a beat as well so if you look a fool you won’t be a fool alone which is great!! That’s my thoughts on the Animal Crossing Group Stretching mini game whatever you want to call it!!

The Last Challenger Approaches, Completing A Life Long Journey of an Era (Super Smash Bros Ultimate)

Happy Friday Everybody!! We’ve come to the end of the week and beginning of the weekend, who else has let out a breath of relief I know I have, I don’t know about you guys, but it seems like this month is going by both slow, yet also pretty quick….is that weird to say!? I mean we’re still in the beginning process of the month, however we are heading towards the middle of the month as well, we’re literally half way there practically lol!

This week has been…..something, now when I say that it just means you can’t quite put your finger on whatever it is your saying something to, there is that specific thing to it if that makes sense!? Overall it has been quite the week hasn’t it! I’m not going to lie I’ve been feeling a bit nervous this week, I don’t know if it’s because I know I’ll be getting my second vaccine Sunday or because of other things, probably a mixture of it all if I’m being honest, but as Isabelle would say in New Horizons “Give yourself a pat on the back you made it to the end of the week” something like that anyway!

Speaking of games, let’s talk a bit on what you’re probably here for shall we!? First up I just want to say that I already recorded my thoughts on these topics, I’m just adding anything that I managed to miss or just recently found out about so that’s what this post is…..so anything I said within my podcast episode I won’t be saying too much on here, I’ve scheduled the episode to be up a bit later today so once it’s officially up that is when I’ll share it!

Real quick I actually had something else in mind that I wanted to record for you guys, but Anchor is being a bit, troublesome today well my microphone is anyway, although it let me record this episode early this morning that I was actually going to share tomorrow and what I was going to record today was supposed to be up for today instead, but I guess this episode wanted to be up on a Friday instead of Saturday so change of plans…..the episode was going to be music based, I was going to challenge myself to speak about an artist that I listen to often, but is a bit out of comfort to share my thoughts on, but I shall leave it for another day and hopefully by then I’ll get to share this amazing artist with you guys!

Back to video games…..we all know by now I presume that Sora from Kingdom Hearts will be joining the Smash Ultimate roster and how excited everyone is about that really big news, we also know that he was the last challenger to be added to the game which means no more other challengers to unexpectedly show up and join the fight, it’s a bit bittersweet that we’ve come to the end of finishing up Smash, but we all knew that at some point it was going to happen!

Now I just recently found out that Sakurai the director of Super Smash will be taking a break now that the last character has been revealed within the game, I did a little research and I knew Super Smash Bros Ultimate came out a few years ago, but I just didn’t realize how long it actually has been…..2018 is when this game released and it took 3 years…..3 YEARS……to complete Super Smash Ultimate’s roster!! If that’s not both insane and mind blowing I don’t know what is!?

Sakurai has been at this game for so many years not including Ultimate, we’ve had so many Super Smash games come into our lives and to see the transformation of it to what it was and what it is now…..you wouldn’t even believe it, so YES Sakurai definitely deserves a long rested break, I mean he’s work tirelessly without much of a break just to finish this game! Now I understand everyone getting emotional and feeling the way they feel, because it’s been a very long journey in the Super Smash franchise and so it’s an important event in the Nintendo world….

So I shall say a bit of what I said in the episode, but a bit better….Thank you Sakurai for everything that you have given us with this game, thank you for putting your heart into something and sharing it with everyone, I hope that you have the most deserved break and whenever you decide you want to return I just hope that you feel the most refreshed that you’ve felt in a while and if this Smash game is to be the last again thank you for giving us something to be able to enjoy for generations and generations, I don’t know what you are thinking about for your next journey, but whatever it is, I hope that it brings you much joy and happiness, but for now just take care of yourself, see you when you return!

Animal Crossing Update: The Bird Is Word

I’m going to try not to have that song in my head…..but I was trying to say what’s to come without spoiling anything in case some people haven’t gotten the chance to watch the direct yesterday that Nintendo showcased, although I’m sure most already know what bird I’m on about here! Just in case though I’ll do my best to not spoil the news, but what I will say is that I’m very excited, I’m so looking forward to getting this new update!

It’s been a whole year since we were given Animal Crossing New Horizons and although it too as long as it did, for us to get this update, I’m happy nonetheless, because we did eventually get what we have been wanting and I feel it’s just going to be good from here going forward with Nintendo, even if sometimes it may take a little longer I will forever love Nintendo for surprising us yesterday with the announcement that was made!

October is going to be a good month in the Animal Crossing community, now I will probably do a podcast episode about this as well, sharing my reaction to the news when I saw it and how I felt when I saw it, even though I chose not spoil anything on here, there will be spoilers in that episode regarding the upcoming update and what to expect from what I know of course!

I will also be giving my thoughts to what I feel they’ll have going with this new upcoming update that we will be getting in November from the announcement that we will be getting next month, so it’ll be a bit of predicting that I will share in the episode! I don’t know if I’ll do it today, as I already have an episode scheduled, it’s actually up now if you would like to have a listen, I’ll share it in just a moment!

Stay tune for the next episode talking about my thoughts on the Nintendo direct as well as what will be arriving in the next Animal Crossing update (That will be the main focus of the episode) I’m sooo excited and I can’t wait to share it with you guys! Let’s Talk: Clocker

Happy Thursday! Hope you all are well and safe, boy was yesterday quite the day, I don’t know how many people experienced last nights hurricane, we had a lot of flooding happening, water even came into our house, it wasn’t too bad, we caught it before it got worst, but it was a good amount of water, but more like puddles of water so nothing got damaged luckily, in other places though that’s a different story, but it was okay! For those who also experienced the really unexpected bad storm, I hope you all are doing well and that it wasn’t too bad for you guys!

Now let’s talk about what this post is about…..you’re probably looking at the title going “huh!?” Clocker for those unsure, is a video game that I downloaded not that long ago, I’ve only played it once, it’s pretty much a puzzle game with a pretty neat story, you can also consider it an adventure game as well! Clocker from what I gathered playing it is about a father trying to get back to his daughter, I’ll try not to spoil the game too much in case some of you find it interesting and want to play it for yourselves, but pretty much you are given this old looking Clock by some random old guy and as you advance in the game, you find that time has stopped and you’re there trying to figure out how to restart it so that you can get back to your daughter!

There’s more to it obviously, but you have to play it to understand the concept of it! Like I said it’s a really neat game, it’s different to what I would normally play, but it’s really nice, in the game the clock that you get from the old guy, you soon discover that it let’s you control certain events so whatever is frozen you can help advance it and rewind to get through each section so you can collect the things that are needed, did I mention that the father character in the game fixes clocks for a living!? So being that you disable and reassemble clocks and watches and that, you have to get all the missing pieces that came off from the stopwatch, yeah! Like I said it’s pretty cool, I didn’t get that far into the game, I’m kind of stuck on a level, I would get so close to solving it, but will still end up missing something so I got to go back and figure it out!

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the game has much as I did, when I first played it it wasn’t hard to understand, you start off taking apart a watch and going through the story mode of the game with certain dialogs, which was kind of fun, I liked taking apart things, I haven’t played it in a couple of weeks though, but I will eventually get back into it soon, it was really fascinating! I have a feeling I know what the message of the game is, but before I share it, I want to play it more to see if it is what I think it is, which it might end up being cause it seems to be going in that direction, but I want to enjoy the game and discover what other things it has going for it, just play it, understand it better, once I finish the game I will do a part two on it and update you on it’s story and let you know if I got the message to it correct! Hopefully I didn’t spoil anything on the game for you guys if I did….I’m sorry, but if I didn’t then cool!

I would recommend anyone who wants to try out a new game to give this one a try, the graphics and gameplay may be a little different to what you might like in a game, depending what kind of games you like and all, but I still would say to give it a try, it might surprise you and who knows it might be your new favorite game, but if it’s something that you think you personally wouldn’t go for then that’s okay too, I didn’t think I was going to go for it before I actually played it, but I also still had it in my wish list to try, because it was something that looked interesting, but everyone’s different!

If this game is something that catches your attention then go get it, it’s actually not that bad in price! I got it during a sale, but I think it’s about 6 dollars-10 the max…..correction it’s actually 4 dollars ($3.99 USD – 3.59 GPB) I went and checked, but yeah you can find this game on the Nintendo eshop, if this game is something you’d consider then I definitely recommend it! Part 2 of this post will be up eventually and that post will be my full thoughts on the game once I’ve finished it of course!

Let’s Talk: Gris

Good evening, hope you’re all doing well and are keeping cool and safe in this very very hot weather, at least it’s super hot where I am, hopefully it’s a little cooler where you are! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend as well, my weekend was pretty alright, wasn’t too bad, It’s just been really hot that’s all, at least we’re getting rain soon so that’s good, we kind of need it! You know we’ve headed into summer when it starts getting REALLY hot!

Enough about the weather though, let’s talk about something different, let’s talk about video games and feeling, don’t worry it’ll be a good one…..I’m hoping anyway….nah you might’ve already guessed what game we’re going to be discussing, that game being Gris, I never know how it’s meant to be pronounced so I pronounce it as I see it and to me it’s like Bliss, but Gris, weird I know…..I really love this game, I haven’t played it in a very long time though, I think the last time I played it was…..about a few months ago, but the gameplay of it is so interesting, I remember when I first saw the trailer to it, it was actually from one of the video game blogs I follow on here, if I’m not mistaken it was the blog Video Games Blogger that I saw the trailer on, I thought it was the coolest looking game I ever saw and I made sure to put it one my games to get list…..I think I ended up getting it not last Christmas, but the Christmas before that!

Now even though I got the game, I didn’t actually play it until a couple months after I got it, sometimes when I buy a game, I don’t always play it right away, most times I’ll wait a while to play it, it all depends on the game really and how I’m feeling, the day I actually played the game, it was on a not so great time, I played it on the day I lost my dog, I remember I tried playing Animal Crossing, but I just weren’t feeling it that day and so I switched games (no pun intended) and played that game, I don’t know why I chose that one on that day, I guess it just felt like the right time even though I weren’t really aware of it then…..but I played it and what’s crazy about that game is, It’s all about emotions and going on a journey with those emotions, when I found out about my dog, I was having a hard time processing everything and so that game helped me to focus my attention on something else for a while

The only thing with it is that, I played it to get out of my head for a while, but I didn’t actually expect to connect with it so much, there’s a lot of depth with this game, it’s story is literally all about getting through rough times, there’s a lot of serious issues covered in it and although I knew that when I got the game, I didn’t think it was going to be so relatable in that moment, I remember playing it for a few hours that day before I started to thinking about everything again, but in the moment that I played the game, it really helped me to feel better and it helped me to kind of get through things…..it took a while before I learned to accept what had happened, but I really appreciate what this game gave me in the moment that I needed it, it took me on a journey that I didn’t expect to go on, but I enjoyed it!

Now I’m not saying I finished the game, I still have a bit to go…..I think I’m close to the end of the game, but I’m not done with it, I don’t play it all the time, only when I feel I need to and a lot of the time, when I choose to play it, it’s because I feel I need to, when I start to get a little down or I’m thinking a little too much or I’m just not in the best of moods, I play that game, I do it every time I feel low, but like I said just when I feel I need to! One of my favorite parts about the game is when I get to boss fights and as much as they give me heart attacks (not really) but I do get a bit of anxiety playing it, but that’s only because the boss fights are pretty intense, however whenever I help the character in the game overcome the fears and difficult moments that she’s faced with…..a part of me also feels like I’ve overcome something as well….that might be weird to say, but I don’t know it’s just how I feel!

Also it’s just very pleasing to the eye, it’s such a beautiful game, the art style is super fantastic, it also has some adorable moments to it, it’s a really great game, probably one of my favorites, although I don’t play it quite often, whenever I do pick it up, I always remember why I enjoy it! Now some of the boards can be very hard to get through, but you figure them out, you grow to enjoy it and embrace it for what it is, at least that’s how I see it, it’s probably different for everyone else, but I enjoy it, Gris is a really good game and I would recommend those looking for a game to try or would like to have a game to connect with to give it a go or if you just want to play it because it sounds interesting, It’s an adventure/platform type game so if that’s what you’re into, check it out, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Animal Crossing Wishlist

You know what I love!? Animal Crossing and yes i’m aware i’ve talked about this game a few times already, but I just can’t help it, it really is a good game, i’ve been playing the game since the gamecube…..okay yes and no, I did play the gamecube version, but at that time, I wasn’t sure what exactly I was meant to be doing in it, so I didn’t play it that much, it wasn’t until I got New Leaf to where I understood the whole concept of the game!!

I never played Wild World at least I don’t remember ever playing it……I did play City Folk though, I never had it personally, but my cousin did, I asked to borrow it a long time ago, pretty sure he’s forgotten and so I went and kept it, still have it too, he doesn’t mind, I don’t think he played it much anyway…..to be fair, I think I only played it a few times when I borrowed it, haven’t played it since though, but I did play it!!

Now we have New Horizons and I just love it!! I even went and created a second Island, I did the same thing when I was always playing New Leaf, I bought another copy so I could start from the beginning without deleting my other town……I then later traded that town in thinking I wasn’t going to miss it……in a way I do miss, but only because I would’ve liked to have seen my very first town after not playing it for a while, buuut you know it’s fine.

That aside though Animal Crossing is pretty much my life, not an exaggeration, what I mean by that is I really do love this game, but moving on, I wanted to create some kind of Wishlist, with the release of New Horizons we were introduced to the new add ons, by that I mean Nintendo had the thought of changing things up not just with the new Island setting,

but having it be based around updates, so instead of having all the holidays within the Animal Crossing world just automatically being there like in the previous games, they’ve now been coming in as updates to keep things fresh and new and so that people don’t go spoiling all the big events for other people that have yet to be seen, but with the new updates addition

That’s been brought to New Horizons, you’ve got people making Wishlists on what they’d like to see added to the game or what they feel needs to be improved on, which is pretty cool, I mean there are still a lot of things that have yet to be introduced with the game so to be able to give suggestions on what could be added because of that, is probably one of the best features that Nintendo ever introduced us to now even with the ideas that we may give, obviously they won’t go adding all of them, but there is a possibility that some of the ideas that we may have for the game could be a future add in if not at least a consideration of some sort and with that possibility,

You know that we’re bound to get our creative juices flowing!! Now with my Wishlist, I might not actually have a lot that i’d want added either because I still have yet to think of what I would like to see be brought to New Horizons or mainly due to what everyone else already suggested, but i’m gonna try and think here, see if I can come up with 5 things and if not then at least 3…..

Number 1:

Someone Edited New Horizons to the New Leaf Promotion poster with Brewster on it….

I’ll admit this one being already suggested, however everyone seems to agree on it, so technically it’s nothing new, but i’d really like for Nintendo to bring back the Cafe (a.k.a) the Roost, so we can see Brewster, it been a thing in all of the games so it should be a thing in New Horizons, now with that, there is a chance that we will get this added eventually,

now I don’t really like spoilers so if you know the details on when, please don’t tell me because I want to be surprised whenever it ends up being announced by Nintendo….that being stated, it’d be nice to have a cafe in the game again, I liked visiting the roost and hearing the theme song and also getting to hang out with Brewster, if they don’t end up bringing him back for some reason, although I don’t see why they wouldn’t!?

but if they don’t, it’d be cool to see who they do add to the cafe when it is brought back…..eventually, I just want a cafe just like everyone else, this one highly requested, but we’ll just have to wait and see on it!!

Number 2:

These two photos are actually from my main Island Moon Stone, pretty excited about this!!

I had to think on this one a bit, but there was one thing that kept popping up and that was Label, if you don’t know Label she is the third sister to the Able Sisters Sable and Mable, she used to be called Labelle and worked with Gracie in the old days, but now she’s on her own Fashion journey, but it’d be nice if she was given her own shop and if not that, then have her working with her sister again, better yet, just upgrade the able Sisters shop all together, that’s something we’ve never had in the other games so why not add that towards the list I mean Nooks Cranny got an upgrade so why shouldn’t the Able Sisters get one as well!? JUST SAYING!!

Number 3: KAPP’N WE NEED KAPP’N THAT IS ALL!!

No i’m kidding, well yes, but also that’s not it, I can’t seem to think of anything else i’d like to see added, so with the next 2-3 add in’s we’ll go more on what i’d like for Nintendo to improve on, one of them being able to do the crafting and such in a grouping kind of way what I mean is Clams and Nook Miles, for example with the clams if there’s 10 of them that should be considered a whole bad of bait instead of it being 1 bait, 2, bait, 3 bait, 4…..you get it!!

It already takes a while to dig up the clams, it shouldn’t take another long while to craft them when those 10 clams could literally be put into one round-up of bait…..I really hope Nintendo takes this one into consideration and improve on it cause people aren’t going to look for clams that’s been added specifically with this game if they’re just going to be crafted one by one, if you want to make it easy just do what you did with the fences when crafting them and add that feature to the clams as well!!

As for Nook Miles, being able to have the option to choose how many Nook Mile Tickets we want to redeem would be nice, with this suggestion I always think about Pokemon and when you’re gathering Potions and restocking on the Poke’ball and how you’re able to choose how many you’d like, I really appreciate Pokemon for this because not only does it save time, but it also keeps it simple and you gotta love that!! I hope Animal Crossing takes a page out of Pokemon’s book because this feature is better!! sorry…..

Number 4:

We’re going to try and get to five here…..here’s another idea that I just thought about, more villager interaction, for example having them come over like they used to or having more games you can play with them besides treasure hunt every once in a while stuff like that, I mean we’re already living on the same Island why not have these kind of features,

I know people talk about wanting more dialog and them having more personality and that, which yes I agree on, but it’d be nice to really hang out with your villagers at times, maybe even have it to where they randomly ask something of their favorite thing, see how much you know them, it’s just an idea…..

Last idea attempt…..Number 5:

I don’t know how great of idea this one is, but it’s in my head so i’ll share it…..maybe and this is a big maybe…..have some special NPC’s make a cameo, an appearance of some sort, so what they did with Reese and Cyrus, maybe have Phineas make a surprise appearance or have Dr. Shrunk appear again, I think having some of the favorite NPC’s that people enjoyed seeing would be nice, even if it’s just for the moment,

Maybe we won’t see them a lot, but it’d be nice if we could have them show up on the Island for a visit and maybe they would have some kind of rare treasures that you can’t really get playing the game everyday or most days, Even if you created another May Day kind of Maze thing and add some of them there like you did with Rover, have that be like a special event that we get here and there, that too would be great, I mean with that we’d always be excited for something and plus I think it’d be nice if we could get a visit from some of the other special characters.

That’s my wishlist for now, I honestly don’t have anything else to add, at least in this one, I might go and make another one when other ideas strike of course, but that’s all for now, let me know what you’d like to see as future updates if you too play Animal Crossing: New Horizons and with that i’ll see you all in the next post!! ^_^

Let’s Talk: Favorite K.K. Slider Songs (Part 2)

So as you all may know, i’m a pretty big fan of the Animal Crossing series, it’s one of my favorite games EVER!! I pretty much play it more than any of my other games to be fair and i’ve got a few i’ve still yet to start…..but today we aren’t talking about the game itself, but the music of the series, well more like K.K. Slider songs, because who doesn’t love K.K. Slider!?

Now some of you might remember, but if you don’t I actually wrote a first part to this three months ago which I just looked at and it turns out that uhhh….that was yesterday so the fact that i’m writing the second part to this today is a little crazy, the timing is a little late, but only by a day……but if you want to read the first list of my favorite K.K. On to the second part of this list, this list might actually be a little different, because instead of it being songs I never get tired of, it’s going to be K.K. Slider songs that i’ve either grown to like or are also some of my favorites that I didn’t get to talk about before……are you ready for this, I hope so because we’re about to begin starting with……

K.K. Bossa

By the way this list is in no particular order or anything, the reason I started with K.K. Bossa though is because I have this one playing in my characters room so I thought let’s start with that one first!! How can I explain K.K. Bossa…..well I like this one because it’s very relaxing and has such a nice sound to it, there’s just something about it that I can really appreciate and it’s actually become one of my favorites, it’s just a good song!!

Next Up……K.K Stroll

Okay so this one was one of those songs that I didn’t mind, but it wasn’t really a favorite either…..however, I gotta say that K.K. Stroll is a song that has grown on me, it’s funny because last weekend when K.K. Slider was in town (on my Island) I requested this song, but I was hoping to find it through the town hall of my New Horizons Island and after looking for it for a good while, I ended up asking K.K. to sing it and long story short the same day I requested this song…….you’ll never guess what song was in the town hall…..yeah K.K. Stroll…..I was like are you serious of course you’d be in the town hall the day I go requesting you…..

All that aside, this one did end up growing on me, it’s a pretty catchy song and also a pretty good one too, would I say it’s a favorite now!? Not really, but it’s one I can also appreciate for it’s catchiness, plus I just feel it to be one of those tunes that just carries your worries away and I like that!!

Last, but not least……kinda……Drivin’

There’s a reason I said kinda……we’ll get to it in a moment, but first let’s talk this K.K. Slider song…..firstly….it’s a new one that was introduced to New Horizons and I think it’s a lot of people’s favorite, the reason it’s on my list is because I love when my Villagers sing it, I said that, but really I love when my villagers sing in general, it’s just so cute and sometimes is at the best or not best moments and it just makes you happy…….but back to the song

It’s actually a really nice song, i’ve found myself humming along to it to myself a few times, just like all or shall I say most of K.K. Slider songs it’s pretty darn catchy and has a very nice groove to it, it might be a favorite actually, I even have it playing near my town hall entrance way, it just fits there which is why I have it playing there, but it’s pretty sweet when my villagers sing along to it as it’s playing, by villagers I mean mainly Roscoe and Tabby they sing the most on my Island, Tabby probably more….but

It’s a good song and I can see and understand why everyone loves it so much!!

Now on to the song that the kinda came from…..

it’s actually a non existing one and is considered an “error” song, but it come from one of the older games of the Animal Crossing Series Wild World and no it’s not Wild World itself, although I have been trying to get K.K. Slider to sing it for me just so I can hear it, but the two times I tried……it didn’t work, but to explain a bit…..when you ask K.K. to sing Wild World, there’s a chance you might actually hear it, but it’s not a guarantee, I think you’ll have to try a few times before you randomly just comes across it……if you do great!!

However if you request it and you find that it’s not quite what you were looking for……he’ll sing, well so far i’ve only heard two filler songs…..maybe it was just one, but I feel like it was two…could be more for all I know, but if he’s not singing the Wild World theme or a song within Wild World…..he’ll be singing a different tune and I can’t tell you which one it is, because it doesn’t “exist” so to speak

When I tried the error song trick I guess you can say, it was the second attempt song the first time trying to get it that was my favorite one and I know how confusing that sounds because i’m talking about a song that you can’t even get from K.K. Slider, but it’s so good that last weekend when I tried the Wild World trick again that when I didn’t get it……I wasn’t actually upset because he ended up singing the song I like anyway, i’m going to have to try and record the song when I hear it, probably from my camera when i’m playing the game, i’d screen record it from my switch, buuuut…..I got no room…..yeah i’m going to have to fix that, because it happens all the time

but even though the song i’m talking about doesn’t technically exist in the Animal Crossing world, I still love it, I can’t actually explain it, but when I hear it probably tonight since K.K. Slider’s on my Island i’ll update this post and share it with you guys, it might look weird, but that’s okay….i’ll also let you know if I do end up hearing the Wild World theme or a song from there

P.S. reason K.K. Slider’s on my Island today is because there’s a bug off happening on my Island tomorrow K.K. usually shows up on Saturday’s, but because of the event he’s there today, which I don’t mind, I just gotta remember to play so I can get a new tune from him also it’s actually my very first bug off event since i’ve started New Horizons so i’m pretty excited for it……not that that’s important, but I still wanted to state it in case it was asked…..

but As Blathers (the owl who owns the Museum) would say and there you have it…….that’s my list to this part two post, you might see a third part to this….there was a few more songs that came to my head as I was writing this post, I actually ended up moving one of the songs that was meant to be here to be added in the most likely next part……so keep an eye out for it, you never know when it’s going to pop up….probably a month from now like this one here…….but it might also be a little later who knows,

3 K.K. Slider Songs I Never Get Tired Of (Songs From Animal Crossing)

Okay yeah i’ll admit, this may seem like a weird of a post, but here me out okay, I had this idea after watching (listening) to a streamer, whose stream was already recorded and posted onto Youtube while I was cleaning up my room, in the already streamed video Crystal the name of the streamer that I like watching, although her channel name is called SimplyPressStart on her channel she plays a lot of different games, but Animal Crossing is like the mascot on her channel, I think I actually spoke about her before on here…..

But anyway, in one of the already streamed videos that she recorded she asked the question to what K.K. Slider song is our favorite to listen to and I thought about some favorites when she asked and I thought hey this is a good idea to write or make a video about, I think I wrote it down originally as a video idea and then decided to just write about last night so here we are!! Now I won’t go making this post super long, i’m going to do my best at least, but without further ado I thought i’d share 3 K.K. Slider songs that are both my favorite, but also ones I don’t really get tired of as well.

First Up……K.K. Soul (I picked the Chill Mix, but I love the original as well)

Now you can’t see me, but i’m actually laughing to myself because I can’t believe i’m actually writing about this, but hey sometimes, weirder things happen and I love animal crossing as well as the songs on there, yes their weird, but they’re also quite entertaining……I mean look at this album art that the people who created animal crossing made, they went all out to make animal crossing have it’s own little thing, even with the music…..

You gotta appreciate that man and if you don’t hey that’s cool to each their own, no worries about it!! Now let’s talk why I like this song, 1. It’s just really relaxing, every time I hear it, i’m just like “ahhh such a good song” I could listen to it all day, I love it so much that, say you were to play New Leaf….yes NL I still play it, even though I haven’t been in my town for a couple days now, but if you were to visit my animal crossing home,

You’ll be greeted with this song, because it’s the main song that plays in my animal crossing home, it’s just one of my favorites, can’t really explain why, I think it’s just the soothing and calm sound of it, but I love it!! That’s it….

Moving on to the second K.K. Slider song……K.K. Cruisin’ (This is the live version that he sings in the game I believe….)

Well that’s funny as I was about to write on K.K. Cruisin’ the song came on, perfect timing (i’m listening to an animal crossing mix, in case some of you are wondering…..I wanted to get in the mode to write this post….it’s working) anyway K.K. Cruisin’ first check out the artwork for this song, I tell you man, it’s just so good, but why……why!?……actually let’s not question it.

Let’s just admire it for a moment……..Did you take it all in!?

Okay then onto the reason I like this song, it’s very chill….yeah…..just that actually, also there’s a sneeze in it and so some of us Animal Crossing fans, nicknamed it K.K. Sneeze, at least those in the SimplyPressStart community, it’s really great, it’s one of those K.K. songs you can really jam with and get into, this song is actually in my room, room, in my animal crossing game, this song is just another one of my favorites that I can’t actually explain either, I just really like the vibe of it I guess…..

Last, but not least, another favorite of mine……K.K. Disco (This is Disco like the in game song in animal crossing)

Yes I know, some of the album covers are weird, but again you gotta give the creators of Animal Crossing some props I mean, the dedication they put into these non existent, yet also existent songs within the game is just……Magnificent, they really did make this game stand out, I mean it has it’s own album collection……I don’t know any other game that has that!!

That being said, let’s talk about K.K. Disco……..how to explain it, it’s a groovy song and it’s funny because there’s an actual song by K.K. Slider called K.K. Groove……but we’re talking about K.K. Disco and so K.K. groove is going to have to take a backseat on this one……so yeah K.K. Disco,

What I like about it, it’s fun, upbeat and whenever I hear it, it makes me groove and I can appreciate that, it’s a nice unreal track to listen to, I actually at one point had this as my main song in my old Animal Crossing game town, but then it got replaced by K.K. Soul, but even though it’s no longer the main song that plays in my town, it’s still one of my favorites to listen to whenever i’m playing New Leaf, but yeah it’s a really good song!!

That is all the K.K. Slider songs I got, I was going to pick 5, but I thought 3 was a good amount to choose from, also I only really had three songs in mind so there’s that, animal crossing is very interesting, but really great game and if you’re a fan of it like I am, you really can appreciate all that it has to offer, it allows you to just chill out to and destress for a while,

Unless you’re planning something, like where to put a public works project or you know getting frustrated with villagers moving where they feel like, but other than that, Animal Crossing really is a great game to wind down to and just enjoy, I actually still need to download New Horizons, I know it came out last week and i’ve been wanting to play it, but i’m waiting a bit to download it so yeah, i’m excited for it though, i’m sure people are loving it!!

Top Favorites At The Moment…..

Disclaimer: I started this post Friday, but I just hadn’t gotten the chance to finish it just yet, but i’m going to be finishing it today so……on to the post!!

Well we’ve come towards the end of the week, hope everyone’s Friday is treating them all well and I hope you’re having good weather, it’s pretty cold and windy with a bit of rain, over where I am, although there’s not much rain happening at the moment, but the weather has been pretty gloomy these past few days, Spring should be around the corner soon so i’m sure it’ll clear up eventually, but to be honest…..I don’t really mind the cold,

Somewhat anyway, sometimes it’s too cold for my liking, but i’d say it’s better than being really hot so it’ll do for the meantime…….

Anyway, I thought since it’s the end of the week i’d talk about some of my favorite things that i’ve been enjoying lately, it’s been a while since i’ve done one of these, so I figured why not give a new update on some things that I have been into during this month and past month as well!!

First on the list……..RIME:

First on the list is one of my favorites to where i’d probably say it a second time, i’ve just started playing this game a couple days ago and it’s quite the story I must say, there’s so much to this game that a lot of the time i’m questioning just what exactly is going on, but whenever I play this game, I find myself becoming easily immerse in it, it’s just a really good game!!

I love adventure type games, where you get to explore and do all these different things…..now Rime is the first game that i’ve played that is more open world based, where you get to take your time and explore and see everything without having to automatically beat the game right away,

You’re not having to rush through it, with rime I find you have to have patients, what I like about this game is that it makes you really pay attention and look at everything, if you just play rime with the mindset of wanting to just finish the game, you’re going to miss a lot and I like that it allows you to really soak the world you’re playing in……in ha!!

It’s a game that i’d recommend giving a try and really letting yourself get lost in when you play, now there’s obviously some stuff to it, that can be a bit of a annoyance and it’s more the way the camera can get at times as well as it sometimes carries some lags with it, but other than that, it’s still a pretty top notch game, the stories great, even though i’m still putting the pieces that it reveals together, soundtrack to it is just beautiful!!

It’s just a really enjoyable and all around game that has really become one of my favorites at the moment, so again i’d really recommend it!!

2nd on the list……Dark Chocolate Kit Kats

Yeah probably a very weird and random thing to put on a list, but don’t worry this won’t be long, i’ve just been very obsessed with these lately, it’s just really good, I know that dark chocolate isn’t really everyone’s favorite, because it’s a bit more bitter than regular chocolate, but I really like these, I don’t eat them all time, that would not be healthy, but I must say these are simply the best, probably prefer them over the originals to be honest,

Don’t know why, I didn’t really eat kit kat’s all that often, in fact they were probably pretty low on the list of chocolate’s I liked, but when I tried this one for the first time, I couldn’t really get how good they were out of my head after trying them so yeah they’ve climbed a good few spots on the list.

Last on the list…….Mediative Chilled Music (as I like to call it)

I’m not really sure what it is about mediative music, but it’s soooo soothing and there’s so many different ones to choose from, that it’s ridiculous, but in a good way of course, i’ve been listening to it for a good few months now, but it’s great to have as background noise when you need to re clam yourself, if you’re reading working on something whatever you do really,

It just brings a good feeling with it, there’s one for every category, seriously not kidding, if you need something nice and calm to listen to, definitely try it out, if it’s something you’ve never considered doing before!!
