On The Horizons Of Spring (Happy Birthday Animal Crossing: New Horizons)

Good Afternoon, now before we get into the post, I just want to say that I’ve broken my own streak of only sharing post on Tuesdays this month, which actually happened unexpectedly, don’t ask why I’ve only been posting on Tuesdays, because honestly, I didn’t even notice myself until I shared last weeks post and saw the calender to all my postings this month, I guess Tuesdays were the days for March! The only reason I’m choosing to break my own streak is for two reasons….

1. To welcome the new season that we all know as Spring, my birth season as well and also to wish one of my all time favorite games a big happy birthday, for those that may not be aware, today marks 2 years that Animal Crossing: New Horizons made it’s debut after so many years of not having a main console game since New Leaf, I will always remember the unexpected announcement that we got when the trailer of New Horizons was revealed, oh was it an exciting feeling, just knowing that we were going to be getting a new game, although we had to wait another year for it when originally told it we would be getting it in 2019….it was defintiely worth the wait when the trailer showed March 20th 2020 and honestly it couldn’t have come at a better time as well!!

As we’re all very much aware 2020 was quite the year and not in the best of ways clearly with the whole start of the pandemic and having to go into lockdown, we don’t need to talk to much about it, but just the fact that, while all that was happening, New Horizons was the game that pretty much saved and helped a lot of people’s mental state and anxieties during those hard stressful times…..2020 was and let’s be honest, it was a quite shit year and for someone who doesn’t really swear much unless I feels the need to let emotions out strongly, although I always say the same 2-3 swear words all the time, me saying it that way really says it all when it comes to 2020….

it really wasn’t a great year, but despite that being said, there were some things within that year to help us cope and take our minds off things for a while and one of the big things to do that was the release of this game! Most of you who come across my posts already know how much Animal Crossing means to me, no matter how many times I try to explain my love for the series, I don’t think I’ll ever really be able to express it the exact way I feel it! On surface it doesn’t really look like the most appealing game, but there’s more to this game then I’m able to truly explain, but for those that do play it and see it the way I see it….

You guys are the ones that know exactly what I mean, Animal Crossing has always been the kind of game that is hard to explain and when trying to explain it, it always sorta feels weird, but one thing I’ve realized is that when you love something so much that you can’t even begin to explain, but you express so much passion for it and you know it shows, you find you don’t even need to try to explain it because it just naturally flows out of you so by sharing the things you love and that are of interest to you, you’re bound to get others to be interested and inspired to look into it and try it for themeselves even and that could be with anything really….

For me though it always starts with Animal Crossing, because I just love that game so much and I’m not just talking about New Horizons, but just the series in general! That being said the fact that New Horizons is 2 years old today and that it literally was released the same day that we enter the season of Spring….well that for one says a WHOLE lot on it’s own, not only did it arrive within a new season, but it also came into light when everyone needed it the most, call it “Perfect timing” if you like or “Coincidence” if you want, although I like to believe that there are no such thing as coincidences, that’s just me though!

To wrap it all up….like I said this game could not have arrived at a better time, it really gave people something to not only enjoy, but to help give light and hope during times of uncertainty and it’s for that reason, apart from loving the game as a whole why I want to wish Animal Crossing: New Horizons both a Happy Birthday and 2 year anniversary thank you for bringing hope to everyone that needed it at the time and continuing to be a game that people enjoy today!! I know this ones a short one, but in all honestly, I wasn’t expecting to write today, I thought about it, but I didn’t quite have anything in mind to write about, but I knew today was the 2 year anniversary of New Horizons so I thought why not!?

Up Next: Now Playing Encanto (Soundtrack)

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a good/decent day today! I don’t think this is going to be that long of post if I’m being honest, I just wanted to write some quick thoughts down of what is to be expected, now I know we have been speaking about Encanto a lot, I want to apologize about it, but I won’t because I really love the movie and when I really enjoy something I have to talk about it, plus I have yet to really give my thoughts about what my feelings are with the movie Encanto, which I will be doing soon and this time there will be spoilers coming disclaimer so keep a look out for it, in the meantime let’s talk about what’s to come!

Although I’ve spoken a bit on the movie, one of the things that I will be discussing that I have yet to give thoughts on is the soundtrack of the movie, obviously I won’t be going into detail with it here, but just know that I am excited to talk about it! If you haven’t watched the movie, definitely check it out and when you do really take in that soundtrack because it is just…..wonderful one of the best soundtracks in a Disney movie in my opinion…..it’s very different to what we normally get, but it’s still great, like I said I won’t give my full thoughts today, but what I will say is, Encanto’s soundtrack is something I feel wasn’t what everyone expected from it, until we all heard it!

I mean I can only speak for myself, but I do have a feeling that what my reaction was for the soundtrack was probably everyone else’s reaction for those that watched the movie, it could be different who knows, but regardless to the actual feelings of it with everyone else, my feeling’s with it still stays the same, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sang certain songs from the soundtrack to myself, let’s just say I pretty much know one of the songs by heart now…..not fully, but I’m almost there!

Now what can we expect when discussing the soundtrack, well I will be sharing my honest and best thought about it, what songs are my favorite, which ones I would play the most or least and when I say least that doesn’t mean I don’t like them, I’m just stating it more in a sense of what I feel I’d see myself constantly listening to each song is great in their own way, but I think we all know when we really like a song and when we know we aren’t going to be listening to them often!

Another thing to expect is I will be sharing my own interpretation of each song and what I think they could mean, be it an obvious meaning, one that can be interpreted as more metaphor based or a mix of both, one song I kind of already drew my own interpretation for, which I will share when we get to the topic, I’m also going to try something new and see if I can place to my least to top favorites again, whatever is in the least does not mean the songs are bad, I just want to see if I can create my own top 5-10, I feel that it’ll be a hard one, but I’m going to try and really place these songs to where I feel they fit best with my own top 5-10, we’ll have to see how it goes!

That’s pretty much everything, I still have yet to decide how I want to talk about the soundtrack, I most likely will write a post about it, but I also might make a podcast ep on it or do some kind of video…..not sure, but I’ll figure it out soon! That being said the movie review of it will be a podcast ep that I can’t wait for, but that’s it for this post, hope you have a good rest of the day and stay tune for my thoughts on Encanto’s soundtrack!

Let’s Talk: Spiritfarer

Good Afternoon, hope you all had a very good weekend and that you all were keeping safe as well with this Tropical Storm turned hurricane, turned back into a Tropical Storm again which I just looked into a few minutes ago by the way!, We were meant to get a lot of wind with the storm named Henri, but it ended up weakening and just giving us a lot of rain instead this past weekend and were informed a good amount of times of very bad flooding, so if anyone received a lot of flooding during the weekend with Henri, hopefully it wasn’t too bad and if it was I hope that you’re all okay!

I’m hoping you all are having a good Monday though, although we’re getting a lot of on and off rain over here, Monday has been going pretty alright, not too bad! I thought for today’s post we can talk about a video game that I have a few big soft spot for, I don’t always play it and I haven’t played it in a good while, but I still enjoy it and still consider it to be one of my favorite games to play when I do pick it up! Now the video game I’m talking about if you haven’t already picked it up by the title, which I’m sure you have is Spiritfarer…….I remember when I first saw the trailer of this game and I thought it was a pretty cool concept, if you aren’t familiar with what kind of game this is, I’ll try and explain it real quick in the best way I can!

So Spiritfarer is a very unique and beautiful kind of game, It’s one of the games that is a little deep and can really pull at your heartstrings as well….you play as this character called Stella and without trying to spoil it too much, at least I’m going to try not to anyway, but you play as Stella where she becomes the new Spiritfarer and her job is to recruit any Spirits she happens to come across that still has some kind of unfinished business of some sort and invite them to her boat to befriend, help with any request that they are asking for and eventually get them to cross over through the Everdoor (a.k.a. the after life) It’s weird because I didn’t think I’d have a hard time explaining this game, it makes sense when you actually play it and it really is a great game!

I played it to one try it out because I liked the gameplay look of it, but also because in the time I went to play it, I was dealing with a loss and I don’t know this game seemed like the kind of thing to help me understand things better in that aspect and taught me that even though it’s a hard thing to do, we can’t really stop the process of life from happening, but that no matter what, we’re always going to have those love ones there with us even if they aren’t around physically to be there, which I find to be beautiful, now even if you aren’t the most spiritual of person, it’s still a great game to try, you don’t have to believe in that kind of thing to play this game, it can just be a game with a story like all the other games!

For me though, I found that it came around when I needed it most and I’m glad that it caught my eye and that I ended up enjoying it, it really helped me in a lot of ways just like the last game I spoke about called Gris, both those games were like a healing process for me….it took a good while before I started to feel better and the fact that I had these games to help me explore my emotions and deal with them the only way I felt I knew how was great!

Plus the little spirits are adorable, okay one spoil alert, they go from hooded cloaked figures to Spirit animals that help teach you many different things and sometimes you grow a connection with them, even though you know you probably shouldn’t because after they finish their last mission, you’ll have to say farewell to them and that might get you emotional especially when it happens to be one of your favorites, but at least you’d get to hug them before they go (I love doing that) that aside though, the game is beautiful and just an overall well designed game!

I’d definitely recommend at least giving it a try and seeing how you like it for yourself, it’s proper worth it and you can learn a lot from the game and if that’s not your thing, then at least you’ll get to explore and experience something totally different with it, but if it’s not your kind of game overall….that’s completely alright and perfectly fine, not every video game is going to be enjoyed, I just wanted to share on it, it’s one of my favorites and in case someone is looking for a new game to try Spiritfarer is something I’d put out there to get discovered, definitely worth it, you can’t go wrong with it!!

Let’s Talk: Favorite Summer Movies….

Goood Morning Everyone, hope your days been going well so far! We’re coming close to the end of Summer as well as this month, although this month has made me all confused, the fact that it’s just now gotten to the middle of the month feels very weird, I’m writing this post on the 12th of August, you might be wondering why I’m saying that, it’s because this post won’t be posted today, also I don’t know if it’s just me, but this week has felt like it’s taking a bit to get over and we’re only half way there…..but it’s okay we’re going to keep going the best way we can, that’s all you can do!

Seeing that we’re in the summer still, I thought we’d talk about some movies and by movies I mean some favorite of minds, I was trying to do some thinking yesterday and came up with this idea, it’s probably not the first time someone has done it though, but I had this idea (now that I’m thinking about it, it probably was the day before yesterday that I thought about this) I wanted to talk about “Summer movies” but what I consider to be summer movies, if they aren’t considered to be summer movies already! I have 3 movies that I’m going to be sharing upon, one is already a summer movie while the other two I’m going to put them in that category in cases they aren’t, but should be!

First Up: High School Musical 2

Yes I’m talking about a Disney Original Movie here a.k.a DCOM, when I think of Summer movies this is pretty much the one movie that always comes to mind for me, even though I haven’t watched this one in quite some time, it never leaves my mind! High School Musical was one of my favorites growing up and High School Musical 2 is a very well known and loved movie, most people will probably choose this one over the first movie, but some people like the sequels better then the originals, doesn’t mean the originals don’t have love either, it’s just like that at times!

With High School Musical 2, once summer hits, this is the first movie everyone goes to cement the moment of Summer vacation and let’s not forget the famous song that starts it all “What Time Is It!? (Summertime) like that is every kids theme when summer arrives so of course it has to me on my list, plus it’s a good movie and the reason why it’s in my top favorite summer movie list, it’s the kind of thing that gets you pumped, excited and just ready to enjoy Summer….even though Summer isn’t one of my personal favorite seasons….whenever I see this movie, I won’t lie, it can get you in the mood of wanting to have a good Summer!

Up Next: Lilo & Stitch

Okay hear me out on this, Lilo and Stitch is probably one of the most UNDERRATED movies EVER!! It’s crazy though because people remember the movie, they just don’t talk about it enough and that’s my problem, like how can you not love this movie, I just don’t understand!! I’m always thinking about Lilo & Stitch, it’s always in the back of my mind, always and I just don’t get why people don’t see it as a Summer movie, I mean it’s literally set in Hawaii!!? Tell me who doesn’t get hyped over the opening of the movie when they see Lilo in the ocean swimming as the title of the movie pops up and you hear that wonderful song that is Hawaiian Rollercoaster coming in as the scene plays while you watch Lilo rushing to get to her Hula class because she was late trying to feed Pudge the fish his usual PB&J because she didn’t want to give him tuna which is all they had in house like come on…..you got to love it!

And I do, I flipping love this movie, I don’t watch it often, but it’s always on my watchlist, it’s such a beautiful storytelling movie, like if I could explain it I would, but this movie is sooo wonderful, this little girl takes in an alien, that’s actually an experiment gone rogue, because Jumba messed up that she thinks is a dog and she’s raised by her older Sister Nani because their parents passed in a terrible accident…..it’s a heartfelt kind of movie, but it’s so worth watching if you’ve never watched it before, my wording of what the movie is about isn’t probably very good….but the movie is and I would love it, if people both watched and talked about it more, because it deserves our love and attention, hence why it’s in my Summer movie list, I mean why not consider it a summer movie, it’s got all the feels of summer and again it’s based in Hawaii which it’s always summer over there, I mean it is an island after all, just watch Lilo and Stitch, you’ll love it!!

Last, but certainly not least: The Parent Trap (with Linsey Lohan)

Okay so this might already be considered a summer movie, I’m not really sure, all I know is that I enjoy this movie a lot! Now I am aware that there is an older version of the Parent Trap, never watched it though, probably should because I’ve never seen it and I’m sure it’s very good! Anytime The Parent Trap comes on…..I’m always watching it, whatever I’m able to watch of it anyway, I don’t always watch the whole thing, however I have watched the whole movie before though! I must say The Parent Trap has become a little bit of a favorite of mine these days, I don’t know the actual release date of this movie, but from the time it premiered to seeing it now….I’d say it’s aged like a fine wine and I don’t even drink, I just like that saying lol!

Again, I don’t know if people see this movie as a Summer movie, but it should be I mean their at a summer camp at the start of the movie, maybe not at first, but they’re at a camp so if this movie is not considered a Summer kind of movie, then I’m personally going to put it in the Summer movie category, because it needs to be there! I love this movie though, I just love the vibe that it gives off, plus it’s got a love story and I’m quite the hopeless romantic so you know I’m sitting there enjoying every moment when Annie and Halie (however it’s spelled) switch places and full their parents all while trying to come up with a scheme to get them back together again so they can be a family again,

Even the butlers of Annie and Halie’s household’s find love with each other, how sweet is that!? I just love those moments and the fact that they find a way to reunite, mainly because of their daughters, but still, I think it’s adorable, plus The Parent Trap is just one of the best movies if I haven’t said that already, but yeah definitely a summer movie The Parent Trap!

Let’s Talk: The Sunflower Episode (Craig Of The Creek)

Good Morning everyone, hope your Wednesday is going splendid! My Wednesday morning had a bit of a trip over, but it’s good now, I made some coffee and I’m feeling good not stressed out, not that I was super stressed out or anything, I was testing out my headphone mic to be able to record a new podcast episode later today and it was kind of getting to me a bit, but it’s working now and hopefully it continues like that, I’m starting to think I should invest in an actual, but affordable microphone, I almost got one, but then I didn’t…..ANYWAY moving on, today I wanted to discuss upon one of my favorite cartoon shows, you might’ve heard me talking about it before, but I really do love this show and so I wanted to talk about one of the recent episodes that I watched a few days ago,

I haven’t been watching it as much these days, so I was trying to catch up on the episodes that I had missed that were new and this little cute thing of an episode is now one of my favorites, like you have to watch it okay! Now you might’ve taken a gander of what episode we’ll be touching on, but for a reminder we’ll be taking a look at The Sunflower episode from Craig Of The Creek, some of you might remember and some of you might not remember, but I’ve spoken about Craig Of The Creek a few times here, now if you never watched this show or maybe heard of it, I would definitely recommend checking it out!

Before we get into the episode, I just want to say that when it comes to movies and shows, I’ve stated many times how, I’m not the best reviewer of them, like I don’t watch a show or movie to critique it and what I mean by that is I don’t normally analyze it to it’s plot and story or anything like that, because…..that’s not what I look for, also it’s not really my specialty, I just watch shows and movies for enjoyment and if I have thoughts about it after watching them, that I have in mind or I feel something maybe didn’t connect with me then I will sometimes share my thoughts based on that, but how normal show and movie critics look at these things…..I don’t do that at least I don’t ever feel I do it in the way they do, if that makes sense!? If I enjoy something I talk about it and if I don’t I on occasion talk about it!

Craig Of The Creek though, is one of my favorite shows and so when I speak about it, it’s always in good light, I never have anything bad to say about it, because I genuinely always enjoy each episode I watch and The Sunflower episode was an episode I wasn’t expecting to get…..to be fair I didn’t know what to expect from this episode, I saw the title and it automatically caught my attention and I became very curious to what that episode could possible be about, buuut I had to watch the other ones first because I like to watch things in order, I prefer anyway is what I’m saying!

When I did eventually get to this episode…..I for one, was super excited because I really missed watching this show, originally I searched for it on Youtube Tv because I wanted to watch the 5 day event episode titled Capture The Flag where Craig and all the other kids at the Creek we’re going to try and stop a ruler from the other side of the creek from taking over there side…..I have yet to watch that one, but I feel when I do it’s going to be quite the episode!!

Back to the Sunflower episode…..I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was excited to find out what story it was going to tell and let me tell you……it was an emotional one alright, like I was not prepared to get all up in my feeling with it, but I did, well I was super close, but I felt it, I felt it very deeply, I’m just realizing that if I go into the episode fully, it’s going to be a very long post, so I think I figured out what my podcast episode will be about later……me explain and giving thoughts to this episode and what my reaction was when I watched it and I’m going to give you all a disclaimer, be prepared for some energetic energy with this one, now it might not actually be like that, but just in case it is, just know you were warned…..but this was a very adorable episode and I can’t wait to talk about it in my podcast episode, seriously, I’m super excited about it lol!

Let’s Talk: Gris

Good evening, hope you’re all doing well and are keeping cool and safe in this very very hot weather, at least it’s super hot where I am, hopefully it’s a little cooler where you are! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend as well, my weekend was pretty alright, wasn’t too bad, It’s just been really hot that’s all, at least we’re getting rain soon so that’s good, we kind of need it! You know we’ve headed into summer when it starts getting REALLY hot!

Enough about the weather though, let’s talk about something different, let’s talk about video games and feeling, don’t worry it’ll be a good one…..I’m hoping anyway….nah you might’ve already guessed what game we’re going to be discussing, that game being Gris, I never know how it’s meant to be pronounced so I pronounce it as I see it and to me it’s like Bliss, but Gris, weird I know…..I really love this game, I haven’t played it in a very long time though, I think the last time I played it was…..about a few months ago, but the gameplay of it is so interesting, I remember when I first saw the trailer to it, it was actually from one of the video game blogs I follow on here, if I’m not mistaken it was the blog Video Games Blogger that I saw the trailer on, I thought it was the coolest looking game I ever saw and I made sure to put it one my games to get list…..I think I ended up getting it not last Christmas, but the Christmas before that!

Now even though I got the game, I didn’t actually play it until a couple months after I got it, sometimes when I buy a game, I don’t always play it right away, most times I’ll wait a while to play it, it all depends on the game really and how I’m feeling, the day I actually played the game, it was on a not so great time, I played it on the day I lost my dog, I remember I tried playing Animal Crossing, but I just weren’t feeling it that day and so I switched games (no pun intended) and played that game, I don’t know why I chose that one on that day, I guess it just felt like the right time even though I weren’t really aware of it then…..but I played it and what’s crazy about that game is, It’s all about emotions and going on a journey with those emotions, when I found out about my dog, I was having a hard time processing everything and so that game helped me to focus my attention on something else for a while

The only thing with it is that, I played it to get out of my head for a while, but I didn’t actually expect to connect with it so much, there’s a lot of depth with this game, it’s story is literally all about getting through rough times, there’s a lot of serious issues covered in it and although I knew that when I got the game, I didn’t think it was going to be so relatable in that moment, I remember playing it for a few hours that day before I started to thinking about everything again, but in the moment that I played the game, it really helped me to feel better and it helped me to kind of get through things…..it took a while before I learned to accept what had happened, but I really appreciate what this game gave me in the moment that I needed it, it took me on a journey that I didn’t expect to go on, but I enjoyed it!

Now I’m not saying I finished the game, I still have a bit to go…..I think I’m close to the end of the game, but I’m not done with it, I don’t play it all the time, only when I feel I need to and a lot of the time, when I choose to play it, it’s because I feel I need to, when I start to get a little down or I’m thinking a little too much or I’m just not in the best of moods, I play that game, I do it every time I feel low, but like I said just when I feel I need to! One of my favorite parts about the game is when I get to boss fights and as much as they give me heart attacks (not really) but I do get a bit of anxiety playing it, but that’s only because the boss fights are pretty intense, however whenever I help the character in the game overcome the fears and difficult moments that she’s faced with…..a part of me also feels like I’ve overcome something as well….that might be weird to say, but I don’t know it’s just how I feel!

Also it’s just very pleasing to the eye, it’s such a beautiful game, the art style is super fantastic, it also has some adorable moments to it, it’s a really great game, probably one of my favorites, although I don’t play it quite often, whenever I do pick it up, I always remember why I enjoy it! Now some of the boards can be very hard to get through, but you figure them out, you grow to enjoy it and embrace it for what it is, at least that’s how I see it, it’s probably different for everyone else, but I enjoy it, Gris is a really good game and I would recommend those looking for a game to try or would like to have a game to connect with to give it a go or if you just want to play it because it sounds interesting, It’s an adventure/platform type game so if that’s what you’re into, check it out, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Let’s Talk: Girl Meets World (Thoughts)

Top of the afternoon…sorry I know I’ll stop….hope you all are having a good one though! I got a question does anyone remember a show called Boy Meets World!? Well if you have then you probably know that it had a spin off which is the title of this post, Girl Meets World and it was pretty good, if you’ve never heard of it though that’s okay, but if you never heard of Boy Meets World, well then, you either live on an isolated Island, are not from these parts of the world or you’re probably an alien…..no I’m kidding, I know that not everyone watches the same shows, you probably just genuinely never heard of these shows or you have, but it never caught your interest, it’s all good!

Boy Meets World was a very good show that was around in the early 2000s that showcased a lot of lessons and taught a lot of stuff and had some pretty good characters too, with the likes of Corey Mathews, Topanga Lawrence, Shawn Hunter, Corey’s older brother Eric you know those fond faces! Now Girl Meets World is the again spin off of that well beloved show, but this time we’re introduced to Corey and Topanga’s daughter Riley and son Augie, as well as Riley’s best friend Maya, Farkle, Lucas, Zay (might be with an e and not with a y, I’m not sure) and let’s include Smackle why not, I mean she was a big part of the show as well!

Now Girl Meets World has the same concept that Boy Meets World did, but instead of it being about Corey’s journey and life experiences, it focuses on Riley and her friends journey into the World and what they will experience, well more like what they learn, which I love, I enjoyed seeing the different perspectives that they wanted to share with this show, just like in the original show, you’re learning along with Riley, Maya, Farkle and everyone about what’s out there in the big unknown and the experiences that come with that, but not only that, but you also get a nice show to sit back and relax to and it’s a show that is for everyone, it’s got a nice comedy flow to it in it’s own little way, it was a really good show and I wish that it didn’t end so quickly, I wish that it had been able to shine more the way it deserved, but you’ll see me discuss more on that in a podcast episode that I just finished wrapping up on in a few moments!

This show is amazing, I love this show and even though it’s not getting any new episodes, I still like going back and see the episodes and watching my favorite ones and just enjoying it, I feel it had the potential to go far and for a while it did, but not as far as I feel it could’ve gone, but if Girl Meets World is something you’re curious about I would definitely recommend giving it a watch, but if you what to get the whole experience and understand the concept that the show has to it, I’d say watch Boy Meets World and then Girl Meets World, because they do intertwine with one another here and there, which is amazing, but what I will say is, if you do end up watching both, just keep in mind that,

Even though they’re similar, because that show is coming from the original they are also different! Girl Meets World has a whole different element to it then Boy Meets World, so I wouldn’t say to compare it because they both have their own way of expression, sometimes they’re will be references so you might get something from the old show in the new show, but you’ll also get something different, I feel Girl Meets World to be it’s own thing and has a very unique charm to it, I love BMW as it is and GMW as it is and I would just suggest if you watch the two try not to compare it too much, it’s meant to be of a different perspective, if you happen to compare the two well then you do, I can’t stop you from expressing how you feel, but GMW is it’s own thing, it’s meant to be enjoyed differently and the lessons within the show can be ones that you learn as well or ones that you just enjoy the characters learning!

What I love about the show are the characters, they all have something unique about them, Riley is the most optimistic Ray of sunshine you will get, Maya is the COMPLETE opposite to Riley, but they work very well and always mange to balance each other out, Farkle he’s one of the smartest, weirdest characters, but he can read you like a book and more even, each character has a uniqueness to them and I love it! I love Girl Meets World sad that it didn’t get too stay for a longer time, but I’m glad we got to at least enjoy it while we were able to and shout out to Boy Meets World, I love the original as well!

Very First Poll…Trying Something New!

Hiya! Hope you all are having a very good day, enjoying your Tuesday, for some reason it doesn’t really feel like Tuesday it feels more like Monday, although Monday wasn’t really my best day, so lets not have it feel like Monday yeah!? Anyway I got something new and different that I wanted to try…..I kind of JUST discovered this today and I’ve been at this blog for 2 years now nearly 3, it’ll be 3 next month which I’m still like woah about you know!?

But you’d think that’d understand these blocks that WordPress has or would have known a lot about them seeing that I’ve had this blog for a while now….but no, it was June 22, 2021 when I discovered this, hey sometimes you discover things a little later which is fine lol! I’m excited though, because this is going to be the first time EVER where I’m asking you guys for help/advice to what I should post next….never done that before so I’m a little nervous and I’m hoping that you’ll join me on this new experience and have a little fun with it as well because that’s what this blog site is about to bring a little fun when I’m able to, for you guys as well as other things that may be of help and just something that you can enjoy reading with a bit of personal thoughts from myself here and there, in this case though, it’s just for fun!

Who knows though depending on how those of you reading this post respond and whether you see this and want to join in or not, I might just have it be a new add in feature to my posts if you like it, probably not all the time, but when I feel a little unsure what to do, I’ll ask this way, which by the way, I don’t do often, I normally don’t ask for help so I’m hoping this works and is okay and I’m hoping you enjoy yourself as well, so on to the questions!

Those are the questions that I have for you guys to help me decide on, like I said I’m nervous I’ve never done this before, but I’m excited, if you’ve heard of any of these Disney Channel movies (DCOM’s) go with your favorite, if you’ve not really heard of any of these movies, you could go with the one that sounds good to you, whatever you get drawn to first, whatever calls you or we can try something different instead of picking one, if you want you could comment on this post on your favorite Disney movie or soundtrack, we’ll keep it on Disney Channel Movies/Soundtracks so we have a theme going, I’ll probably know a good amount, I watched a lot of Disney growing up, but if it’s new Disney…..

Well I’ll be doing research haha! If somethings familiar based off the comments to your favorites, I’ll pick one out of a hat/bowl/mug and choose that way or do another poll and have you guys decide, I guess we’ll just see how this goes, it doesn’t hurt to try right!? I’ll leave you guys to it, I’ll probably write another post in a moment, maybe after I’ve had lunch on what I don’t know, I’ll figure something out, enjoy yourselves!

June Reminds Me Of The Color Yellow….

Good Morning Everyone! Hope you all are having a good Monday and enjoying the time off with Memorial Day if do have time off, we’re getting close to the afternoon hour and pretty close to closing this month as we move on into the month of June, it’s a bit crazy innit knowing that May’s pretty much over, it feels like some of these months have came by a bit slowly while some not so slowly, it’s like they arrive hang out for a pretty good while and then go off on their merry way!

For the month of May I feel like it just arrived, but is also now just leaving and that’s something I always tend to feel each time it comes around I don’t know why, but it’s always like that…..to give some thoughts on May well….I feel like it’s been a pretty alright month, it had it’s mixture of good and not good parts, but for the most part, I wouldn’t say it’s been that bad, now from the title you can see I went ahead and gave June a color, if I had to give May a color, I’d say she’d be….like a Green mixed with Violet and other warm colors!

I know it’s probably very weird to want to give months a color, but sometimes when thinking about whatever months arriving I can’t help, but feel a color with them and yeah that’s just what I think them to be…..actually if I had to pick a color for May…..it’d be the album cover of Alexz Johnson’s Still Alive album, which was released in May….pretty much, now I thought and felt the color Pink when thinking about May….. I just didn’t want to say Pink, but if I’m being honest every time I look at that album….it feels like it, although I will still consider May to be a Green/Violet color mixed with other warm colors!

I gotta say real quick the album artwork for Still Alive, is probably by far one of my all time favorites it’s so simple, but it’s got this all around aura of innocence’s, but not that entirely, just by looking at it, you get a breath of fresh air it’s just got this something to it that is hard to explain, it’s my favorite album art and it’s just her with a nice pink background and other colors added, the simplicity of it is what I like pretty much!

Back to talking about the month of May…..it’s been alright, I mean May is my birth month, so I think I’ll always have a soft spot for it and I think I would consider it a favorite month of mine, not just because I was born in that month, but because I just kind of always liked it…..but we’ll be soon moving on from May and entering the month of June in a couple of hours and who knows what will come with June, it could be anything, maybe some of you already know what will be arriving, but it’s okay if you don’t, sometimes not knowing can be good, we all enjoy a little surprise!

Until we see June…..let’s continue to enjoy the rest of May’s company in the last hours of the month and wish her safe travels with the rest of her upcoming journey, thank you for hanging out with us May, we shall see you on your next visit!

Creator Spotlight: Oneboredjeu (Mashups)

I feel like it’s been a while since i’ve done one of these, so I thought hey let’s go ahead and write another one, now for those who may just be finding this blog and have come across this one as your first post of mine, i’ll explain a bit just what these kind of post are just in case you’re wondering, now with creator spotlight I like to talk about special creators that I either admire or just really like to where I want to share and have other people check them out as well, it’s pretty simple really, I don’t always do these kind of posts,

It’s always at random and it’s only with specific people that I feel deserve a little more love and who I just want to talk about a bit is all, in today’s post of Creator Spotlight, we shine some light on a creator that i’ve been a fan of for quite some time, now it’s been a bit of a while since i’ve checked out their stuff, it wasn’t until recently that I re discovered them and listened to some of their newer mixes and I gotta say they still got it!!

Now when I say mixes, I mean mashups, if you haven’t heard of them or have listened to any of their stuff I definitely recommend check their content out, because it is the best!! I know there’s a lot of mashup channels out there and i’m sure some of them are good too, but Oneboredjeu (I don’t know how to pronounce their name, but that’s the name of the channel) have probably the best mashup’s i’ve ever heard, literally!!

I don’t know what exactly it is about them, but the way they combine different songs together is just fascinating and it’s not only two songs, they’ve done a whole collage of songs shall I say, it’s just amazing!! Some of the songs that they’ve done so far, you think they wouldn’t go together, but the moment you listen to it, you’d be so mind-boggled just how well some of songs they’ve mashed up works, that you wouldn’t believe it even when listening to it, it’s that good, but you don’t have to take my word for it

Just listen and see for yourself, in some way you’ll be surprised, if you want examples, i’ll share a few of my favorites as well as new ones that i’ve recently checked out and liked in a moment, but if you’re feeling your days going a little weird and you want a little surprise of something good or maybe you want to fool your brain and give it something it’s not expecting, check out Oneboredjeu’s channel, you might just find something there!!
