Up Next: Now Playing Encanto (Soundtrack)

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a good/decent day today! I don’t think this is going to be that long of post if I’m being honest, I just wanted to write some quick thoughts down of what is to be expected, now I know we have been speaking about Encanto a lot, I want to apologize about it, but I won’t because I really love the movie and when I really enjoy something I have to talk about it, plus I have yet to really give my thoughts about what my feelings are with the movie Encanto, which I will be doing soon and this time there will be spoilers coming disclaimer so keep a look out for it, in the meantime let’s talk about what’s to come!

Although I’ve spoken a bit on the movie, one of the things that I will be discussing that I have yet to give thoughts on is the soundtrack of the movie, obviously I won’t be going into detail with it here, but just know that I am excited to talk about it! If you haven’t watched the movie, definitely check it out and when you do really take in that soundtrack because it is just…..wonderful one of the best soundtracks in a Disney movie in my opinion…..it’s very different to what we normally get, but it’s still great, like I said I won’t give my full thoughts today, but what I will say is, Encanto’s soundtrack is something I feel wasn’t what everyone expected from it, until we all heard it!

I mean I can only speak for myself, but I do have a feeling that what my reaction was for the soundtrack was probably everyone else’s reaction for those that watched the movie, it could be different who knows, but regardless to the actual feelings of it with everyone else, my feeling’s with it still stays the same, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sang certain songs from the soundtrack to myself, let’s just say I pretty much know one of the songs by heart now…..not fully, but I’m almost there!

Now what can we expect when discussing the soundtrack, well I will be sharing my honest and best thought about it, what songs are my favorite, which ones I would play the most or least and when I say least that doesn’t mean I don’t like them, I’m just stating it more in a sense of what I feel I’d see myself constantly listening to each song is great in their own way, but I think we all know when we really like a song and when we know we aren’t going to be listening to them often!

Another thing to expect is I will be sharing my own interpretation of each song and what I think they could mean, be it an obvious meaning, one that can be interpreted as more metaphor based or a mix of both, one song I kind of already drew my own interpretation for, which I will share when we get to the topic, I’m also going to try something new and see if I can place to my least to top favorites again, whatever is in the least does not mean the songs are bad, I just want to see if I can create my own top 5-10, I feel that it’ll be a hard one, but I’m going to try and really place these songs to where I feel they fit best with my own top 5-10, we’ll have to see how it goes!

That’s pretty much everything, I still have yet to decide how I want to talk about the soundtrack, I most likely will write a post about it, but I also might make a podcast ep on it or do some kind of video…..not sure, but I’ll figure it out soon! That being said the movie review of it will be a podcast ep that I can’t wait for, but that’s it for this post, hope you have a good rest of the day and stay tune for my thoughts on Encanto’s soundtrack!

Update:

Now I just want to say that although this isn’t my thoughts to the soundtrack just yet, I did finally get around to recording my thoughts for the movie yesterday! There just might be a part two for it as I wasn’t able to talk about some other things that I wanted to share, but most of my thoughts are there, so if you would like to give it a listen, you can find it here!

P.S…I guess there’s a glitch going on again, so if you don’t see the episode automatically, I’ll be sharing the link for the time being, I’ll check again later and see if I can add it….sorry about that!! https://anchor.fm/lexa-marie3/episodes/Lets-Talk-Encanto-Movie-Thoughts-Part-1-Ep–48-e1e6ic5

Up Next: Encanto (Movie Thoughts Review)

Happy Monday and Happy Martin Luther King Day! It’s been an interesting start of a Monday and by interesting I mean full of unexpected surprises and not in the best of ways, with last nights weather which was a mixture of both snow and rain it got a bit flooded, but everything is under control and it wasn’t too crazy luckily! On a whole different note, it made for a good theme as the movie that I’ll be talking about in a moment has some similar vibes to it, only without the flooding…..on with the movie talk!

Now as some of you may already know, I wrote a bit about Encanto around two weeks ago I believe or close to two weeks, I didn’t exactly give my thoughts in full detail then just some small brief ones and that’s because I wanted to really sit and discuss it, I feel with movies because we’re just seeing everything happen all at once it’s not always easy to take everything in, sometimes it’s not that hard, but other times it can be a little too much!

However Encanto isn’t one of those “too much going on” kind of movies, obviously the first reaction will always be the best reaction 9/10, but sometimes you’ll have moments where it may take the 2nd or 3rd reaction that can make a moment feel right, that’s just my personal opinion though! Honestly I just wanted to re watch the movie because I enjoyed it so much the first time, it’s probably one of my favorites at the current moment, I obviously have to watch more movies (Don’t worry I have a personal watchlist….kinda) regardless I’d still consider it a personal favorite!

Although I probably could’ve talked about it the first time in full detail, I wanted to watch it again so that way I could really gather everything in and see if I felt anything new with it, I did and didn’t, the did part is I found that I was actually more emotional watching the second time then the first and the didn’t part is I felt the same way about it the first time I watched it as well as the second time! Now I will explain my thoughts on it fully sometime this week in an upcoming podcast episode, I just wanted to share a few words and let you know what to expect coming up!

I do plan/have in mind to do the soundtrack because let me tell you Encanto’s music is *chef kiss* beautiful and it deserves to be talked about, so I hope that you look forward to that as well, not sure if I want to do that as a podcast episode or if I want to write it out or maybe do something different with it, I’ll have to decide on what I want to do there, but for the meantime keep a lookout for the upcoming episode where I go a bit into depth on the movie, I am excited and look forward to getting my thoughts out on it, hopefully you guys like it once it’s done!

Let’s Talk: Encanto (Brief Thoughts)

I know that we’re no longer in the year 2021, but I did want to talk a little bit about a movie that I watched within the closing parts of that year! I won’t be going over it in full detail, due to the fact that I would like to also give some thoughts with it in an upcoming episode, although it’s been a long while that I’ve recorded, a month actually to be fair, however I do have it in mind to get back into it…..when exactly!? That I haven’t decided, but I will try to get back to it soon!

In the meantime we’ll just discuss some of it here for now! For those wondering what Encanto is, it’s a movie, an animated Disney movie/musical that recently released I believe sometime last year (a little weird we’re saying that now, I mean 2021 was literally just last week) I don’t really know when of last year, but that’s okay I’ll just look it up once I’m done!

(Update: As I was writing that last sentence, I ended up just looking it up anyway, it released on the 24th of November)

Now if you haven’t watched Encanto yet, I would definitely, definitely recommend checking this one out, it is soooo good, it’s a bit hard to explain the story of it writing wise, I would need to re watch it again and get a refresher of it and properly allow my thoughts to really take it all in again! There was a lot to Encanto and I want to be able to give my best and honest opinions of it….SPOILER…..I don’t have a negative thought on it, I bet you thought I was going to give you a spoiler on the movie didn’t you!? Don’t worry, we don’t do that here, well at least I try not to, I don’t like spoilers myself so I wouldn’t go and do that to someone else and if I do feel like I’m going to spoil something for someone, I do make sure to give a heads up beforehand! Back to Encanto, I love the movie and I look forward to really getting into it later when I’ve taken it in for a second time!

One thing I will will say is, this movie does get you emotional, now it may not be like that for everyone, I know everybody has different emotional levels to them, but this movie left me feeling teary eyed a few times not going to lie…..then again, I’m an emotional type of person anyway, so whether I’m listening to a sappy love song or any song that has a very deep meaning with beautifully written lyrics or I’m watching a movie that maybe relatable or it’s story is too much to handle (in a good way) there’s a 95 percent chance that I will cry, but that’s just who I am, I can try and hold it, but I usually don’t if it’s an emotional moment, I just let it happen!

It’s best to allow your emotions to come out when it’s feeling something strongly and that’s not just for when you’re watching movies or listening to music, I mean that in a general sense! Going back on track though, Encanto is very beautiful….although there is a key meaning to it, you may find yourself taking more than just one message from it! Plus the soundtrack is quite interesting, but really good, although I’ve only heard it once when watching the movie, I still enjoyed it!!

There’s a lot of things you wouldn’t really expect from it until you’re watching it for yourself, but one of the things that I really do like and admire with it, is the storytelling and if you’re from a Spanish speaking family certain things within this movie will be quite relatable and even if it’s not relatable and you’re not from a Spanish speaking family, it doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy it or feel like you can’t watch it and think to yourself “I know what that feels like” we all go through similar things in different ways, we don’t have to be the same in order to know what something feels like, we can still relate and be different!

You can learn a lot from Encanto, like I said it’s hard to describe at the moment which is why I will be re watching it so I can try and explain it better in the best way I feel I’m able to, but I would without a doubt recommend that you check it out if you haven’t already, it is a tear jerker, but it’s one of those movies that once you start watching it, just know your eyes might not leave the screen, at least that’s how I feel, I know everyone has different opinions and reactions to things so you may or may not feel the same, but it is worth giving a chance and watching, see what your thoughts are of it!

Those are some of my thoughts of it, I know it’s brief, but hopefully I was able to have it get considered to be on your watchlist and if I’ve not convinced you here, just know I will try again lol, anyway hope you all have a good rest of the day, take care, stay safe and Happy 3 Kings Day for those that celebrate it out there, see you soon!!

Let’s Talk: Monsters Inc and Monsters University

With the Halloween season spicing up everyone’s life right now, literally I mean have seen all the Pumpkin spice things that everyone is going crazy for…..I don’t really understand why everyone likes Pumpkin spiced food and drinks, I mean I do love me some Pumpkin donuts from Dunkin’ don’t get me wrong, but aren’t we going a little bit too far with it!?

I understand the Pumpkin candles, those always smell lovely, so those are okay, everything else that’s Pumpkin inspired though…..that’s different….but we’re not hear to talk about Pumpkins…..not yet anyway, that will be coming up soon! Today I thought we’d talk about everybody’s favorite and most adorable Disney movie at least to me it’s got adorable things in it…..in this post we are discussing both Monsters Inc and Monsters University combined!

Why exactly!? Well because without Monsters University we would never know how Sully and Mike Wazowski got into the Scare business and without Monsters Inc we wouldn’t know who Boo was…..those are the two main important things about both these movies…alright alright, I’ll give them both more credit then that…..we all know how great Monsters Inc is, it was the first to release between the two and it’s still being played every Halloween as well as during most days really if you can’t bother to wait for the Spooky season, although a lot of movies are like that if you really think about it….

Monsters Inc is just one of those movies that are just fun to watch, like when you see that it’s on and you’re able to watch it….7/10 you’d be the first to switch over to it, now I didn’t say 9/10 because I feel like it’s easy to pass by, I mean there have been times where I’ve seen it on a tv guide and just not gone to watch it, but I think it’s okay to say that seeing Monsters Inc even if you do skip it and choose to watch something else, you do stop and acknowledge it before you start watching that show or movie that leaves you wanting to make snacks for or just to enjoy!

Now as for Monsters University…..I’m not sure how many people would skip it or would switch to it right away, now that’s not me saying that it’s a bad movie, cause it’s not, Monsters University has it’s own charm to it, it’s not exactly a Monsters Inc 2, which I think a lot of people we’re upset about at first, I feel like a lot of people were really wanting a second Monsters Inc movie, but we’re a little disappointed when we were given Monsters University instead…..but I think people have gotten over that already!

Like I was saying though, it’s not Monsters University does have it’s own charm to it and it was nice to see what Sully and Mike Wazowski were like during their younger heading into adulthood years, it’s not what we were expecting, but it was pretty good, at least I thought so…..it was cool seeing the two best friends and some of their school friends from Monsters University visit the company that they would later be apart of in the Monsters Inc movie, like what I great way to foreshadow a classic movie that already exist!

Just in case that sounded like sarcasm, just know that it’s not I was just expressing in a very weird way that I like that they referenced Monsters Inc in Monsters University, yeah I probably didn’t need to explain that, but I felt it feeling like I was saying that sarcastically so I wanted to clarify it for myself and in case people read it and wonder if I was using sarcasm or really felt it like that…..moving on…..both Monsters Inc and Monsters University are great movies, they both are similar, but are also very different from each other, they’ve got their own thing going for them, which I like!

I love how you’re able to see Monsters Inc being told in many different ways as you’re getting to see both stories unfold and transition to being what they both are now, with Monsters University being the starting point of the journey even though it was released later and Monsters Inc being the butterfly that emerges out of it’s cocoon, it’s a weird and backwards way of telling a story, but I guess it worked out for the best, regardless I think both movies should be given better credit and more love if they haven’t been getting much of it these days!

P.S.

I might just record an episode talking a bit more about Monsters Inc and Monsters Uni sometime soon, I feel I have a bit more I want to get out, but writing it all here would be a very long read it’s pretty much be the same thing to this post, but with some added thoughts that I hoping I haven’t expressed yet so keep your eyes peeled for that….

Very First Poll…Trying Something New!

Hiya! Hope you all are having a very good day, enjoying your Tuesday, for some reason it doesn’t really feel like Tuesday it feels more like Monday, although Monday wasn’t really my best day, so lets not have it feel like Monday yeah!? Anyway I got something new and different that I wanted to try…..I kind of JUST discovered this today and I’ve been at this blog for 2 years now nearly 3, it’ll be 3 next month which I’m still like woah about you know!?

But you’d think that’d understand these blocks that WordPress has or would have known a lot about them seeing that I’ve had this blog for a while now….but no, it was June 22, 2021 when I discovered this, hey sometimes you discover things a little later which is fine lol! I’m excited though, because this is going to be the first time EVER where I’m asking you guys for help/advice to what I should post next….never done that before so I’m a little nervous and I’m hoping that you’ll join me on this new experience and have a little fun with it as well because that’s what this blog site is about to bring a little fun when I’m able to, for you guys as well as other things that may be of help and just something that you can enjoy reading with a bit of personal thoughts from myself here and there, in this case though, it’s just for fun!

Who knows though depending on how those of you reading this post respond and whether you see this and want to join in or not, I might just have it be a new add in feature to my posts if you like it, probably not all the time, but when I feel a little unsure what to do, I’ll ask this way, which by the way, I don’t do often, I normally don’t ask for help so I’m hoping this works and is okay and I’m hoping you enjoy yourself as well, so on to the questions!

Those are the questions that I have for you guys to help me decide on, like I said I’m nervous I’ve never done this before, but I’m excited, if you’ve heard of any of these Disney Channel movies (DCOM’s) go with your favorite, if you’ve not really heard of any of these movies, you could go with the one that sounds good to you, whatever you get drawn to first, whatever calls you or we can try something different instead of picking one, if you want you could comment on this post on your favorite Disney movie or soundtrack, we’ll keep it on Disney Channel Movies/Soundtracks so we have a theme going, I’ll probably know a good amount, I watched a lot of Disney growing up, but if it’s new Disney…..

Well I’ll be doing research haha! If somethings familiar based off the comments to your favorites, I’ll pick one out of a hat/bowl/mug and choose that way or do another poll and have you guys decide, I guess we’ll just see how this goes, it doesn’t hurt to try right!? I’ll leave you guys to it, I’ll probably write another post in a moment, maybe after I’ve had lunch on what I don’t know, I’ll figure something out, enjoy yourselves!

Now Playing….Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure Soundtrack (Part 2)

Well we just went and reviewed the movie part to this, now we move on to the soundtrack, which is something i’m not sure how to feel about, there aren’t a lot of songs here to get through, so I know this won’t be a long post which is good, but even though I recently just watched this movie, the songs are going to be an interesting part to cover, now i’ll be having a re listen to the songs in a moment so I could write out my thoughts on them properly, once i’m done the review shall start…..see you in bit…..

*Music Break Time*

Back with my thoughts, it took a little long, not too long, I just had to re listen to a few songs, once wasn’t enough, but let’s get to the review of these songs shall we!?

First up…..my least favorite of the soundtrack….Gonna Shine:

What can I say about this song…..I still very much don’t like it, the start of it before the song actually played, with Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) singing……it’s just soo bad, the lyrics I just find them to be very cringe to the face, like they’re so simple, but not in the best kind of way if that makes sense!? It’s so bad that it made me laugh, like I didn’t know what else to do…..I mean there’s always that something that you know is pretty bad and you just can’t help, but laugh because that’s just your natural reaction to put it behind you quickly and yeah this song to me is like that, I didn’t like it before and listening to it again…..still don’t like it now!!

Sorry…..

On to a bit of a better song of the movie, next up Me & My Boi:

This was too cute to not put, it’s a scene from the movie

Now when I watched the movie, I thought this song was going to be like Gonna Shine where I didn’t like and then I heard it and I was like “awww it not that bad” listening to the soundtrack and hearing it again…..it’s grown on me pretty quickly to the point where it’s now my new favorite song from the movie, it’s kinda one of those songs that you can’t help, but not to love, it’s just too cute and adorable, it’s very upbeat and not going to lie, the feeling of it makes me both want to smile and get emotional over, it makes me miss my dog,

but I won’t get too emotional, it just the kind of song that reminds me of her that’s all, plus Sharpay’s dog is literally the same breed to my dog, just a boy version of her and the dogs in this movie are adorable and I always get emotional with cute things….i’m that kind of person….but this is just a harmless cute song, that I now love and Ashley Tisdale a.k.a Sharpay Evans sang it beautifully!!

Same song, different version, but titled Me & My Girl instead of Boi: I don’t like this version, it’s too poppy for my liking, it’s got it’s fair share of charms to it and the singer, sings it fine, the voice to it is nice, but I just feel as though it doesn’t have much else going for it than that, plus I just prefer Ashley’s version over this one, it’s got more character, the interaction were there, it gave more emotion and expression, like you feel vibe of it more than this one and it’s just the better version, again nice voice, but you can have and keep it thank you!!

Now…..this is the last song I want to talk about…..but I have to because it was in the movie, also I went in the order of the songs appearance, the soundtrack started with the order and then didn’t for some reason…..but 4th song on the list……Baby, however there’s a catch it’s Lucas Grabeel’s version and not Justin Biebers so that helps a bit, anyway….Baby :

Let’s talk about it…..now I might’ve missed judged the song, but this one still makes me go “hmmm..yea..mm…no still….no” now I will say this Lucas to me sings it better than Justin, but I still can’t and will not get behind this one sorry…..it was very charming, I appreciate how he put his own spin to it and tried to make it his own……but I just cannot with this song, not even him calling out himself and doing the rap of it could make me like, thought it was a cute thing, it made me laugh and go “he did not just do that” yes he did by the way, but as much as I like Lucas Grabeel and him as Ryan Evans in High School Musical, that will always be one of his iconic roles to me, but yeah….noo…sorry Lucas, love you though!!

Lucas Grabeel’s Version Of Baby was for these two cuties

2 more to go, next one of my FAVORITE songs from this movie, it doesn’t need any introduction, but I shall give it one anyway because I love it so much, New York’s Best Kept Secret: I didn’t even write anything for it at first because I was just enjoying it, I had to hear it first before anything, I just feel this to be one of the best songs in this movie, with Me and My Boi at a close second and the next song to be talked on in a short moment in third, they’re actually the only 3 songs I like on here, but back to this gem of a song!!

It’s just so good, everything about it from the lyrics, to the musical arrangements, EVERYTHING, just fits so perfectly together, not to mention Ashley’s incredible voice in this song, always give me chills and the bridge of the song will forever be my favorite, I just love it so much!!

P.S. this song reminds gives me Suddenly vibes, it’s the name of one of Ashley’s song from her album Headstrong

Last, but definitely not least, promise, we have The Rest Of My Life: Now this may not be an all time favorite of mine, buuut I do really like this, it ranks 3rd on my list, it’s very catchy, I really prefer the lyrics to this one over Gonna Shine, I feel like even though the starter song didn’t quite get my attention, this song makes up for that, it grabs you gently and invites you to just have a good time and enjoy yourself, while Gonna Shine kinda felt like a forceful pull to get you to dance when it knew that you weren’t feeling it in the moment…..this song though made you naturally just want to join in the festivities and I like that!! It’s a good song and again Ashley is good talent!!

3/6 is the amount of songs I like from this movie, 50/50 that that bad, it was almost 2/6, but Me & My Boi (Ashley’s version) tied it up definitely worth it, but that’s my thoughts on the soundtrack!! It’s a pretty decent soundtrack, it’s got it’s good songs and it’s not so good ones, but it’s alright!!

That’s everything I have to say with this album, let me know if you’ve ever watched this movie and if so what’s your favorite song from it!? Hope you guys enjoy the rest of your weekend and hope your week starts off on a good not and continues to stay that way!!

Let’s Talk: Camp Rock (12 Year Anniversary)

Now I don’t know if most of you will remember this movie, but this was literally my childhood days and it’s kinda crazy to think that this movie came out 12 years ago, not 12 years today exactly, it’s 12 year anniversary was actually this past Saturday, I was planning to talk about this the day of, but never got around to it, but it’s been 3 days, so it’s not that bad!!

Reason i’m talking about it today, is because I just finished watching the movie, now if i’m being honest, I don’t actually watch movies or tv for that matter very often and if I do it’s for a very short while, however movies are the things that I watch the least, but I figured that it’s been a while since I watched the movie, I can’t actually tell you how long it’s been…..

Let’s just say it’s been a long time…….and i’ll tell you rewatching this movie, it still felt the same, but it also felt different at the same time, some scenes still hold up and some……could’ve been better, but at the time, it was okay for what it was I guess……the music however…….well it hasn’t changed that much, but there are some that I have re listened to, that i’ve gained opinions on, some are the same and some well……how I felt about it then, I still feel about it now only there’s some things mixed in……..it’ll make sense when I recored on it to explain don’t worry, this post is about the movie though

There’s a lot to it that, I don’t quite get now with certain scenes within the movie……also I didn’t realize how much it actually got to me, re watching it I felt quite annoyed at some parts, mainly with Tess and different things that happened in the movie, but than you have some good classic scenes i’m sure some of you might know the ones, that said, this movie started giving me a headache because I was like “are you serious” some moments just really bothered me, but nonetheless, it’s still a good movie!!

Yeah it’s pretty cheesy most of the time, but it’s an early 2000s movie so what do you expect right!? On a good note, we got a miniature Demi Lovato here and the Jo Bros (Jonas Brothers for those that don’t know) a.k.a. Connect 3…..don’t know why that was their name now that i’m thinking about it, guess they were inspired by connect 4 the game or something!?

Yes I know it was because there were 3 of them, but they could’ve thought of a different name i’m sure…..connect 3 it was though, not that it was bad, just really!?…..alright then…..you know what I mean!? I gotta say though, my favorite performance in this movie has to be Here I Am, that song always got to me when watched it as a young one…….I don’t even have to watch the movie though for it to deeply feel it, it’s just an overall great song,

I’ll talk more on that later though, I do have some other favorite performances in the movie like This Is Me…..of course, Play My Music……others I can’t quite think of right now, but still there’s some good ones there, but I can’t believe it’s been 12 years since this movie premiered like it doesn’t seem that long ago, but it definitely is which is the mad part!!

Like I remember when it first came out, well when I first watched it on tv anyway…..which was the premiere, but you get what I mean……I could probably go on about this topic, but i’ll keep it short and sweet for now and save some other thoughts on it later, that is if I have anymore thoughts on it, i’m sure I do….but I won’t make it long, I just wanted to briefly talk on it, and share a few thoughts about it……even though there’s some parts in this movie I laugh at now with how cringe it can get and so on,

I still have soft spot for it and enjoy it vey much so, it was my childhood so obviously nostalgia for it is going to be there, plus it’s got some of my favorite songs in it along with Demi and the Jonas Brothers….did I mention that already!? I probably did haha…..

Have you ever watched Camp Rock, if so what are some of your favorite songs from the movie!?

Feb 12, 2019

Hey everyone I hope you’re all having a good night, i’ve had a bit of a weird day today, I was feeling a little stressed for some reason earlier, but i’m alright it’s been snowing today where i’m at, I don’t know if it’s still going on, it might’ve just be raining or it might’ve stopped already I don’t know.

I just finished writing and posting a wrestling review that I’ve been working on for the past week, i’ll be catching up soon with last weeks show that I missed, because I had to catch up with the show prior to last week’s, yeah I know i’m a little behind, i’ll catch up though no worries, anyway there isn’t really anything I wanted to talk about, however I did think about something not too long ago that I wanted to share with you guys……..

So I found two channels that i’m kinda obsessed with…………okay maybe more than kinda haha…………they’re both based around singing, only ones a vocal coach who reacts to videos where artists or people sing pretty much and the other is a channel where they sing covers to songs, a lot of them are songs from Disney movies, but she has more covers based around video games, shows ect……both channels are great though, I really love them!!

The name of them just in case your curious are Rebecca Vocal Athlete and Annapantsu, I randomly came across Anna, which i’m real glad I did, because she’s amazing, i’ll list a few songs that she covered that are my favorites at the moment in a bit.

As for Rebecca I found her when I was watching this other vocal coach channel, it was recommended and so I was curious to see what her channel was about and I ended up becoming obsessed with it after I found out, I stopped watching the other channel once I discovered hers, I still watch it though, just not as much.

I really love Rebecca’s videos!! I know she has songs that are original that she sings, but I haven’t heard nor watched them yet, but she has a pretty great voice. I also find her to be really funny, she just has this really great personality that is easy to catch on to, you’ll know what i’m talking about if you watch her videos. She has some real funny and great moments when she’s reacting, but she also shows emotion as well and that’s because you can see that she’s connecting with the artist and everything it’s great and so is she, that’s why I enjoy her videos so much.

Here’s my favorite videos from Rebecca Vocal Athlete’s channel:

  1. Vocal Coach Reacts To Brandon Urie’s Best Live Vocals-Pop Crush
  2. BRENDON URIE REACTING TO ME!!x
  3. Vocal Coach REACTS to 13 times Harry Styles vocals had me SHOOK
  4. Vocal Coach REACTS to LITTLE MIX – ACAPELLA QUEENS
  5. Vocal Coach Reacts To Demi Lovato Father-live

Lastly, here’s a list of my top favorite covers from Annapantsu’s channel:

  1. Stronger Than You (Undertale Parody Responds)
  2. Hellfire (female version- The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
  3. Be Prepared (female version-coverd by Anna demo)
  4. Pokemon Theme-acoustic (Anna)
  5. She Used To Be Mine (Waitress) & Almost There (Princess & The Frog)

So these are the main songs that I have went back and heard the most, there’s two entries in the number 5 spot because I couldn’t decide which one I want there, so listened to both and yeah………I felt they both needed to be in that spot.

The main song I keep listening to though is Stronger Than You, now there’s two versions, there’s the Undertale version which if you didn’t know is a video game, there’s a lot of different versions that go with the Undertale themed one and they’re all great, i’ve listened to them, however, this one is my favorite, there’s just something about it that gets me, it’s beautiful.

The other version is the original and it comes from the show Steven Universe, some people aren’t too fond that the Undertale version is bigger than the original, but I think both versions are great, they’re just different that doesn’t mean that one is better than the other at least not to me, they’re both great in their own way.

If you want to listen to the original i’ll leave it for you and if you want to hear the other Undertale versions i’ll leave that too.

  1. Steven Universe-Stronger Than You (Original)
  2. Top 5 Undertale Stronger Than You Parodies

I know there’s a lot here, I just wanted to share this with you guys, feel free to check both channel’s out if you want, I would recommend you do, but that’s just me, but seriously check them out!!

Decided On A Title For This, I’m Calling It: Movie Talk……Yeah That Should Be Good!!

I’m not quite sure what it is that I want to title this post yet, but by the time you guys read this, i’m sure I would’ve come up with something. Alright so i’ll be honest, i’m a little lost on what to write today, I had something earlier and at first I thought it was starting out alright, but after a while of writing it…….I don’t know I wasn’t feeling it as much. What I was originally going to write first, was all about bad movies………well not to the extreme, I was gonna write how there’s two different kind of bad movies, you have the bad movies that you know are bad, but you still kinda enjoy in a way and then you have BAD movies to where, they just leave you completely disappointed after watching it.

With what I just said though, I was trying to explain how with me……….i’m not a super movie fanatic the way other people might be, so movies rarely leave me disappointed. It’s different with me, if I like a movie it will stick in my mind for a very good while and if I don’t, I just don’t watch it again, simple. The reasoning for why I wanted to talk about bad movies is because yesterday, I came across a video and it was a review on the Powerpuff girls movie, I don’t know if any of you know about the Powerpuff girls, but it was one of my favorite shows growing up as a kid and they made a movie about it.

Just to give you a quick synopsis on the whole thing, the movie is based around 3 girls named Blossom, Bubbles & Buttercup and they all have superpowers, now you might be asking “Why do they have superpowers or how did they get it!?” That I can tell you……….it all started in a laboratory, there’s this professor he goes by professor utonium (but he’s just referred to as professor in the show and movie) he goes and tries to create perfect little girls to pretty much have as his own, but before he created them, he had this monkey I guess as a pet or something.

Long story short, while the professor was creating the girls, you know adding sugar, spice and everything nice……..the monkey wasn’t happy because I guess it was feeling neglected and jealous, I can’t really remember everything about the movie because it’s been so long, but to sum up everything, the girls were mean’t to just be normal, but also not at the same time and well the reason for them having superpowers was because the monkey went crazy in the lab and started destroying everything and he made the professor accidentally drop this Chemical X into the mixture of where the girls were being created and that’s pretty much how the Powerpuff girls were born.

The whole point of me explaining that was because that’s how I came across the youtube channel, he was reviewing that movie, by the way the channel is called Channel Awesome, however the one reviewing the movie I just mentioned goes by the name of Nostalgia Critic and the way he does things is he just does what his name says, he reviews a movie (all the throwbacks mainly) and sometimes tv shows as well and criticizes them, saying whether he liked it or hated it. The good news is he actually didn’t mind that movie. The bad news is, the movies he did mind were movies I actually enjoyed as a kid and still enjoy on occasions, those movies are: The Cheetah Girls (the first one) Inspector Gadget: The Movie & Camp Rock 1 & 2.

Yeah he really hated those and what I was trying to get at before was that when it comes to movies, I don’t really hate the bad ones even if a lot of people see them as bad. I just watch them and if I don’t like it, I just move on and watch something else. I don’t really sit down to talk about what I didn’t like in a movie, because I don’t really know how to criticize movies anyway. I may be able to do it with music, well at least when it comes to my favorite artists, considering i’m more of a music person than I am of movies. So if I were to say I don’t like something, it would be more with music and other things of course than with movies, only because I feel I would do well in that department then in the movie genre scene, if you get what I mean!?

So that’s all I was trying to say in my other post that I haven’t finished, although I don’t really have to now, because I pretty much summed it all up here, I actually think a lot better than I did earlier………so yeah, I guess I ended up telling you about it anyway…….huh never mind. P.S. I know I may have sounded weird explaining the show well movie, but I promise this was a real thing, the Powerpuff Girls was awesome!!
