This Was Meant To Be An Album Review Post…..But Now It’s Something Else….

Okay so as i’m writing this, it’s the first of April, speaking of first let me just say, I kinda can’t believe it’s April already, just a couple months ago, like the beginning of this year, it felt like it was slowly going, but the fact that we’re now in the 4th month of 2020…..is a little insane!! Now even though we’re in the fourth month of this year, it doesn’t mean that it hasn’t took it’s time arriving, I think each month so far has had their fair share of importance,

Meaning I wouldn’t quite say the months have zoomed by like they usually do, which I guess is pretty good so to say, yeah this year so far hasn’t really been all that great with everything going on now, but still……let’s just try and keep as positive as we can though, it’s can be a little hard in these times, I know, but if we can spread a little light in someway, then it won’t be so bad right!? As you can tell from the title, we’re going to try or shall I say were going to try and review/share some thoughts on one of my favorite bands the Jonas Brothers and their latest album Happiness Begins

Now I have yet to really sit and listen to this album, I was meant to listen to it earlier and get my thoughts going on it, but I ended up doing something else that I wasn’t expecting, but on a good note, I made something that i’m pretty happy with, now I know it’s not the best photo, but i’m pretty happy with this little decorative branch tree, there was a lot of trees and vines removed from my backyard…..now you might be wondering why I made this well, it wasn’t planned, I was just going for my usual trip to the backyard to sit and get some air and when I got there, it was everywhere

Kinda got emotional, not sure why, I think it was the fact that i’ve been going there for a while now, it’s the only place I go when I need to think or just want to sit for a while and the trees are always there and to see it without anything really, I didn’t like it, also there’s a log that i’ve been using as a stand for my camera when i’m recording and that was also gone for a moment, I found it and did my best to hide it away where only I know where it is, so hopefully that doesn’t get touched again!!

Also don’t mind the blinds, especially that one sticking out, other than that, I really like this, there’s some pebbles inside the vase that I cleaned out when I was outside and then Lysol’d when I got inside, the pebbles are there to keep the branch tree steady, these pebbles I had for a long time, I still got more in case you’re wondering, you probably weren’t though……

I knew they’d come in handy eventually, there’s also something else in the vase keeping the decorative branch tree up, but uhhh it’s a secret…….alright it’s a bag of coins, happy!! IMPROVISATION GOTTA LOVE IT!!! As for the album review that will be set for tomorrow, I want to do it a certain way,

but I kinda don’t have the energy to do it the way I want right now, I probably shouldn’t have stayed outside so long…….in my backyard, not near people just to make that clear, I was trying to do something,

What you see in the photo, however I had a completely different thing in mind to what I ended up going with instead, I gotta say though, my original idea probably wouldn’t have fit anyway, due to not really having space for it, but hey this one works too, I just picked a few branches that I felt would fit and tied a rubber band to it, it’s doing it’s job well i’d say!!

I’m going to have to change the title to this post now, by the time you read this the title will be changed to something else, it was just going to be the album review as the title, luckily the planned post doesn’t need to be up until the end of the week, at least that’s how I set it anyway in my journal, but tomorrow definitely we’ll be taking a look at the Jonas Brothers and their latest album Happiness Begins…….still excited and I can’t wait!!

Writing Prompt Friday: Message In A Bottle (June 21, 2019)

If someone told you to write a message and put it in a bottle to send out to sea, what would you write!? Maybe you don’t want to send it out to sea, but instead just wanted to write something and send it out a different way out of curiosity to who would find it and read it.

Would you even write anything and if you did would you send it out or keep it to yourself to read or leave alone!? We all have something we want to say, sometimes it’s hard to say it however, because it’s either, we’re not really open to express what it is that we feel, sometimes we think, if we say what’s in our heads it’ll be too much or it won’t be understood……

We may feel when saying something it won’t make sense and maybe we’re just rambling on about things that not even we understand once it leaves our mouths…….so with that a lot of the time we freak out and just don’t say anything because it feels easier, yet…..at the same time, it’s harder because you know you want to say something and you know it’s there, but for some reason it doesn’t come out and if it does, it doesn’t come out right…….

Which will then a lot of the time cause us to freak out more and from there we end up beating ourselves up for it and think “that was stupid” adding more and more pressure causing our thoughts to only expand in the worst things possible, asking yourself a million one questions, over analyzing and just getting so stuck in your head that you wonder, if you’ll ever get out!?

You might also wonder and ask yourself if whether you’re doing things right or just a whole lot of different questions that float around, causing your brain to just lose it’s own thoughts………tell me though, the picture above, what do you see when you look at it!? Probably nothing too special i’m sure, it might just be a random throw together creation and you might be right, but maybe some of you do see something to it, who knows.

When I look at it, I see waves just casually flowing by, but also something else I can’t, quite put my finger on at the moment……what kind of feeling do you feel when you look at it!? Maybe some of you don’t feel anything looking at it and maybe there’s a few that do feel something with it, maybe it’s the way you’re looking at it, everyone does sees things differently.

So what did you write!? You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to, it’s called a message in a bottle for a reason right!? Maybe it’s personal, embarrassing, or makes no sense just like this probably…….

If you do want to share however, i’ll listen.

Don’t Forget To Take A Breath (June 19, 2019)

It’s been a while since i’ve written down my thoughts…..kinda, not my actual thoughts just a simple write down, i’m sure you know what I mean.

*Takes a deep breath and releases* Maaan am I mentally all over the place today, it’s so easy I tell you haha…..all you have to do is let your mind go in a million one places and there you have it, scattered thoughts everywhere!! That’s how you do it, in case you’re wondering how to easily stress yourself out……it’s always like that ain’t it!? So easy to drive yourself mad, yet so difficult to keep yourself sane and calm…….

I made this here creation as I like to call them, a long while ago…….I was meant to use it after I made it, never really quite did though, I guess I felt it wasn’t the right moment or something I don’t know…..funny, I think my reasoning for making this was because I was having a day like today.

As you can probably see in the picture, there’s some words in a spiral, but they aren’t just any words, they’re lyrics to one of my favorite songs by one of my all time favorite bands who I actually wrote a post about the other day. The name of the song is called Take A Breath and it’s by of course…..One Direction…….I mean the Jonas Brothers *nervous laughs*

One Direction had 3 more years left before they went on the X factor, auditioned and would then later be formed into a band…..there goes my brain huh!?

Also you guys probably think I planned that, but trust me, I did not….. I went to say the Jonas Brothers and ended up saying One Direction instead, to myself, out loud, as I was writing it…..not kidding……and if you think it’s a one time thing, no that’s how my brain actually is at times, can’t help it.

Back to what I was talking about though…..this song is off their 2007 self titled album, but on the deluxe version of the album, it’s a really good song, it’s an early 2000’s kind of song of course, a little upbeat, but not too pop sound-ish, it has some edge to it, at least I think it does anyway…..if you’re a Jonas Brothers fan you’ll know what i’m talking about.

It’s one of those tunes that you listen to not only for that nostalgia feeling, but also when you need that reminder to breathe and relax a bit you know!? Try not to worry as much, it helps for a moment, but with the way our brains like to be, it can take a lot of reminding……

For me singing the lines, “Don’t forget to take a breath” plus the rest of the chorus, as well as the whole song……it works for the moment, plus it’s good to sing, I mean we all know there’s nothing like singing our favorite songs to help boost our moods a bit and make us feel a little better.

Scribble Night (June 14, 2019)

I’m having a bit of trouble naming this at the moment, i’ve been staring at this trying to come up with some kind of name for it, but I don’t know what to name it…… I turned these little scribble design things into flowers because they reminded me of flowers whenever i’d look at them.

Not actual flowers of course, after finishing this here artwork creation, I was trying to figure out what kind of flower they resembled mainly the open ones, the yellow, purple and white ones)

At first I couldn’t put my finger on it, I did think of a tulip, but then I thought nooo, not quite a tulip shape, I had the image in my head, but the name of it wasn’t popping up for me…….

It took me until the next day (today) just to now know what flower it was, looking up different kinds of open flower types, it came down to two different ones, a Tulip (yeah the one I scraped away) and the California Poppy, looking into it more though, i’d say it resembles the poppy more than the Tulip……it might not be, but it was the closest to it that I could find.

Glad that’s sorted and all, however I still don’t know what to name this one……..actually wait, I might’ve come up with one right at this very moment looking at it again……I think it could work, we’ll keep it for now, but if something comes to me later that I like better, i’ll change it…….

Infinite Night…. (June 12, 2019)

Infinite night, make your way to me and show me the brightness of the moon and all of it’s captivating beauty, uncover and unleash the millions of stars and let them shine their light all across the sky……

Infinite night, why are you so cold!? Don’t you know what warmth feels like!? Warmth is the feeling that many crave and admire

It’s the safeness we feel when in the arms of one that we love dearly and unconditionally, to where you never want to leave…..

I guess maybe you like the cold, it’s no wonder you prefer to be alone.

I hope you don’t mind the times where I join you in the night, I know you might not be much for company, but I hope you don’t mind if I say awhile….

Infinite night, I must say, although the day can be quite nice…

There’s no better company that I find more interesting then you, the moon and the stars, I guess it’s the mystery and the quietness that you carry along with you that I like, it can be quite relaxing when your mind is free to roam.

Under The Sea (June 10, 2019)

I made this here creation a couple of days ago, but didn’t really have anything to go with it at the time, I was trying to recreate a drawing I made a while ago with this originally, but it wasn’t working the way I wanted it to, at least not with what I use when making these kind of creations, so I just ended up making something different altogether…..

Looking at this, the first thing that came to mind was the Little Mermaid song Under The Sea, hence the title, I was singing the song to myself earlier and felt it fit well with my artwork. It’s simple and I know there isn’t that much to it, but I think it works for what it is.

I don’t really know a whole lot on Sea Turtles except for they’re able to live to be 100 or more even and that the baby turtles are born on land first and then once they hatch they start to head on out to the sea one their own, which if you really think about it, is quite amazing, I mean how do they know where their natural habitat is right after their born!?

I guess maybe it has to do with instinct or something, it’s incredible how they just know though…..you know it’s crazy two days ago was actually World Ocean Day, now I knew about the day, but I couldn’t remember when it was exactly, I remember seeing it trending, a couple of days ago, but then sorta forgot all about it after a while……

For those who aren’t that aware about it, no worries……just to sum it up for you guy though, it’s pretty much a celebration for the Oceans, it originated back in 1992 (I wasn’t born yet) by Canada and it takes place every June 8th and on this day different people around the world come together and some even volunteer to make sure the beaches and the Oceans are cleaned up and taken care of properly the way they should be!!

The Ocean is a beautiful underwater land, filled with amazing, beautiful, unique and sorta…..okay pretty frightening underwater creatures, without the Oceans we wouldn’t have discovered all the things that we have or heck even the stuff we’re still looking into with it……there so much more to the Sea then we know, everyday there’s a new discovery, some of them we know about and some of them we don’t.

Now i’m not big on big bodies of water i’ll be honest, but it’s still important to make sure the Oceans are safe and cozy (probably not the best word to use, but i’m sticking with it) for the creatures like the Sea turtles and many other underwater creatures that live in it and call it home.

The Ocean has been around for……quite a long time not sure the exact time, but i’m sure it’s been here longer than we have and maybe even longer than some of the creatures that live in it now, who knows…….but looking after the Sea or Ocean (just found out there’s a difference between the two) would really help all creatures living in it sing a better song, I mean i’m sure Ariel, Flounder, Crash and Squirt would really appreciate it.

Pebbles On The Beach (June 9th, 2019)

A walk on the beach, “how romantic” some will say, others might also say there’s nothing like the sound of the waves crashing against some rocks….or feeling the water at your feet and digging your toes beneath the sand, everyone has a favorite thing when it comes to the beach……

You want to know what my favorite thing is!? It’s the little pebbles you find in the sand, I can’t help, but want to always grab a hand full or more and take them home with me. Some might think that there isn’t really anything special with them, but me……they’re my favorite things to collect.

I always would try and find the best ones, from the shape of them, to the colors, to the way they feel when holding them in my hand, most of them pretty smooth, others less, but even with that, I still would go and collect as many as I could find. I never really questioned why I collected them…..

It was just something that I did, I was drawn to them, still am if I see a good one around!! Sometimes we’ll collect things out of being drawn to them and there won’t always be a reason for it, it’ll just be because we like it, nothing more, nothing less, just plain and simple with nothing else to it.

Woodland Mountains (June 7th, 2019)

Deep in the Woodland Mountains, exploration awaits with a special tree at hand, you might think magic is within it, but that is not the case, what is with it though is quite a discovery you’ll have to unlock to find out, how exactly!? Well that is up to you to unfold…..maybe you’ll unlock it with some kind of riddle to solve or maybe a special hunt for something perhaps!?

Each unlocking of the tree different, but all will lead to the same discovery, what kind of discovery you might ask!? Whatever discovery you want it to be, one thing you must keep in mind when unlocking this special tree though is to not expect it to be a great discovery, it might be, but it could also be something completely different to what you think it is…..remember each unlocking of the tree different, but each unlocking the same.

You’ll come across many other things as you explore, you’ll hear the sounds of the crystal clear rivers, approach some of the most cleverest and adorable woodland creatures while all becoming speechless at the sight and height of the earthy green mountains that you’ll ever see, be wary however as there may be some dangers lurking…..exploration awaits, good luck!!

Plants Galore….(June 2, 2019)

They say having plants around you is a good way to not only keep your space clean, but it also helps as a good de-stresser (if that’s a word) plants are meant to bring a sense of calmness to you, after all without them we wouldn’t have much oxygen would we!!?

You know when you really think about it we don’t really know why plants are as useful as they are, we know they’re special and are good, but why exactly are they special!? I’m sure it most likely has to do with Science and that, but when you really look at plants and the way they are, each different to the next with them even having different effects to them too……

Some help you sleep better, some help you relax better and some even put out different scents, it’s quite interesting if you think about it……there’s different shapes and sizes to each plant, as well as different styles, some more droopy, more intact and others more alive and well……

You don’t really think about that kind of thing unless you’re in a deep thought kind of mode or just very observant of things.

I’m not really sure why exactly I decided to create this, I think maybe I might’ve wanted something simple to focus on, not sure why plants was the theme today though, but hey i’ll take it ha…..

Rose Garden (June 1, 2019)

Whenever I read the word Rose Garden, one thing comes to mind…..the song Rose Garden by Nick Jonas and the Administration, as you may probably guess it’s one of my favorite songs, I used to listen to it a lot when I was younger, although I haven’t heard it in a very long time, I still remember all the lyrics til this day, it’s a really good song………

Nick Jonas knows how to write good music, with songs like this, he takes you on a bit of a walk as he tells you a story with his lyrics, this song in particular though, it was the song that actually inspired this creation here.

I don’t really know what to say about this one, I know I like it, but that’s all i’m able to say on it, also the blue background was actually a different color at first, I was trying to choose a color that I felt went well with everything which is why I ended up changing it to the blue you see now.
