Happy First Day Of Autumn!!

If you haven’t already noticed, We have said farewell to Summer and have welcomed the Autumn season, So far it’s been what you would expect the fall weather to be like, it wasn’t too hot today, I saw a few leaves falling earlier and the air has come down in temperature a bit which is good, the past few days, well weeks shall I say, has been pretty darn hot, so now that we’ve entered the fall season, at least we can say the air will become a lot more cooler!

We might still get a bit of hot weather, even though it’s officially fall now, but I say give it another week or two and you’ll see just how cool the air starts to get, then again I can be wrong and we’ll be feeling heat for a bit longer mixed in with cool weather as well, which of course we all love *Sarcastically speaking* in all seriousness though, I love the fall season, I’ve probably mentioned that so many times on here before, I don’t know what it is exactly, but there’s just something about this season that gets me so happy!

I just love the feel of it, I enjoy seeing the way the leaves on the trees change from green to red’s, yellows, orange and browns! My favorite is when they dry up, this may sound a bit weird, but I love making little bouquets with the leaves, I have a big square vase with a lot of dried up leaves in it that I’ve collected and sorted together, it’s like having a vase full of flowers, but with leaves instead, I love it!

Another thing I love about Autumn is being able to wear fall clothing, like sweaters, cardigans and boots, I don’t know why, but fall clothing has got to be one of my favorite attires to wear, I love wearing short sleeves in the Spring which is my other favorite season, but there’s just something about being in a sweater and wearing a cardigan that just feels right…..I guess it’s because they give you that cozy feeling and who doesn’t love that!?

I wish I could say more about the fall season, but I guess we can just keep it short for today, plus I feel like today is not a day for a long post anyway, I’ve been trying to write all day and I did write something, but for some reason I’ve been having trouble explaining what it is I was trying to write so it’s not really finish, I’ll try and see if I can explain it better within a few days, it might end up being a podcast episode instead of a post who knows, it’s just been a very productive non productive day and very interesting as well!

Hope you all have been having a good Wednesday and enjoyed the beginning of Autumn, although short and sweet is nice, sorry if this one was a little too short!

June Reminds Me Of The Color Yellow….

Good Morning Everyone! Hope you all are having a good Monday and enjoying the time off with Memorial Day if do have time off, we’re getting close to the afternoon hour and pretty close to closing this month as we move on into the month of June, it’s a bit crazy innit knowing that May’s pretty much over, it feels like some of these months have came by a bit slowly while some not so slowly, it’s like they arrive hang out for a pretty good while and then go off on their merry way!

For the month of May I feel like it just arrived, but is also now just leaving and that’s something I always tend to feel each time it comes around I don’t know why, but it’s always like that…..to give some thoughts on May well….I feel like it’s been a pretty alright month, it had it’s mixture of good and not good parts, but for the most part, I wouldn’t say it’s been that bad, now from the title you can see I went ahead and gave June a color, if I had to give May a color, I’d say she’d be….like a Green mixed with Violet and other warm colors!

I know it’s probably very weird to want to give months a color, but sometimes when thinking about whatever months arriving I can’t help, but feel a color with them and yeah that’s just what I think them to be…..actually if I had to pick a color for May…..it’d be the album cover of Alexz Johnson’s Still Alive album, which was released in May….pretty much, now I thought and felt the color Pink when thinking about May….. I just didn’t want to say Pink, but if I’m being honest every time I look at that album….it feels like it, although I will still consider May to be a Green/Violet color mixed with other warm colors!

I gotta say real quick the album artwork for Still Alive, is probably by far one of my all time favorites it’s so simple, but it’s got this all around aura of innocence’s, but not that entirely, just by looking at it, you get a breath of fresh air it’s just got this something to it that is hard to explain, it’s my favorite album art and it’s just her with a nice pink background and other colors added, the simplicity of it is what I like pretty much!

Back to talking about the month of May…..it’s been alright, I mean May is my birth month, so I think I’ll always have a soft spot for it and I think I would consider it a favorite month of mine, not just because I was born in that month, but because I just kind of always liked it…..but we’ll be soon moving on from May and entering the month of June in a couple of hours and who knows what will come with June, it could be anything, maybe some of you already know what will be arriving, but it’s okay if you don’t, sometimes not knowing can be good, we all enjoy a little surprise!

Until we see June…..let’s continue to enjoy the rest of May’s company in the last hours of the month and wish her safe travels with the rest of her upcoming journey, thank you for hanging out with us May, we shall see you on your next visit!

Memory Nostalgia: A Fond Moment In Science

We all have special moments in our lives that we randomly think about out of the blue, sometimes it’s stuff that happened yesterday, a couple weeks ago or even when we were kids depending on your age now, if you’re still a kid you’ll have those moments come to you later, but if you’ve been around a good while than you probably already have a few, one of my favorite and fond moments that I had as a kid happened back in middle school (about 8th grade i’d say…yeah it was 8th grade) I was in science class and in this class we had to make a clay model of all the layers of the Earth’s core, now don’t ask me if I remember all the layers, I only remember the mantel and core that’s it, trust me I tried to remember each part without looking it up just to see if I could remember it, but i’m probably going to to have to surrender and look it up, maybe after this post or before whichever comes first!!

Back to Science class…we had a project where we had to make a clay version of the Earth and in then cut it in half to then label each layer of the Earth, it was a pretty simple, but also really cool project, I loved it, then again I just loved Science as a whole, it was one of my favorites subjects, probably already mentioned it before, but it really was, don’t know why, but I just really liked it!! I think if I remember the project was actually a test not a regular project, but it’s been a long while so I can’t actually remember which one it was all I remember was we had to make the Earth out of clay and then label the layers on the inside, I remember the colors we used to, well somewhat, there was blue, green, yellow, purple and red I believe, I think we were able to pick our colors,

but I could also be wrong on that….the way we labeled each layer was, we had to write them down on a piece of paper in strips and then tape those paper strips onto some toothpicks and then jab them into the clay, but we had to put the names of the layers in the correct place, now that i’m thinking about it, it might’ve been a test because we got graded on it…..but again I don’t know, it was really fun, I remember being really excited about doing that project, rolling the clay and turning it into a ball and having it cut to see all the different colors that were inside, I can’t speak for everyone in my class on whether they found it exciting as well, but young me was loving it!! I can picture it now doing that project, moments of it anyway, I remember the classroom too a bit and how the weather was, by that I mean I remember it being sunny, I don’t know if it was cold or hot, just that the sun was out.

It was good bring back moment, it’s one of my top fondest memories that happened to pop up out of nowhere, but every time it comes up, it brings a smile on my face and makes me happy, I guess it just one of those things that’ll stick with me for as long as it chooses to and i’m perfectly fine with it!!

P.S. I just looked up each layer…… and I gotta say, a little disappointed that I didn’t remember each part because it was quite simple, literally you got the outer core, inner core, mantle and the core of the Earth…how could someone forget that…..at least i’ll remember it now so I guess it’s okay ha

Colors Of September….

It’s now both the beginning of a new season and the ending of a month, which is September……I feel like this month went by quite quickly yet at the same time I remember when it first arrived, goodness……I feel like I don’t have a lot of words today…..at least with writing a post, on a brighter note, one of the best things with this month is the different colors of the leaves

I just think they’re really pretty and sometimes you come across unique ones or at least some that catch your eye……i’m not really sure how to feel knowing that we’re literally on the last day of this month, I was thinking of that when I went outside for some fresh air earlier this morning, normally I feel like the other months were taking their time, but this month i’m not sure, I mean it arrived and now it’s going……I guess this month has always been like that, but maybe i’m just noticing it!? Maybe it’s just me.

September……to describe it I can’t, I just know it’s the month that brings us the colors that the trees soon take on as well as a whole new season that’s been a little indecisive on what kind of weather it wants to be, sometimes it’s hot, sometimes rainy and stormy leaving wondering how you oughta dress for it…….I think fall in general may just be that way……but yeah….

September was here and now we’ll be welcoming the month known as October a.k.a. the “Spoopy” month, I know it’s Spooky, but some people call it that and I like it, not sure if it’s spelled the way I have it, but still I like it!! Just so you know, i’ve never really been a fan of the Halloween month, so with October literally arriving later tonight……i’m not sure what it’s going to be like, it might just be how it normally is, but also different I feel just based on the way the year has gone, we’ll have to wait and see on that won’t we!?

Let’s just hope it all turns out okay…..

In The Tune Of Fall….

Hiya i’m sure you all have noticed, but in case this weather is giving you some mixed feelings, we’ve now entered a new month and we’ll soon be entering a new season as well, it’s a little crazy that we’re already in the month of September it feels like for a while we were in the Summer months for quite some time, but once August came around things started speeding up just a little bit, however just like all the other months we’re having to say see you the next time around and get used to the colder months now.

Now I gotta say, i’m kinda a little happy that we’re getting into the more colder part of the months, mainly with the fall, not so much winter, although I may have been born in the Springtime, I do really enjoy the months of Autumn, I can’t really tell you why, but fall has always been my second favorite season, I just really love the look and feel of it, you know!?

Spring is great too, I mean that’s the season I was born in so I have to make sure to give it some kinda of love, but there’s just something about fall that I can’t quite explain, maybe it’s the way the leaves change color or just the aura of it, if seasons have aura’s that is, who knows really, for all I know I could just be talking nonsense, but nonetheless it’s still great!!

Summer however was…..well I guess you can say that it had its moments, I won’t say it was the best summer, but I won’t go putting it down either, to be fair, i’ve never really been all that into the summer, so there’s not really much to say when it comes to it, summer and I…..we’ll just have to always agree to disagree, it’s not that it’s a bad season, just not mine……

Fall on the other hand, love it!! I can’t tell you what exactly i’m expecting to happen with it, so I guess i’ll just have to do my best to embrace it as best as I can with whatever it chooses to bring along…..if I had to describe what fall is like…..i’d say it’s both deep thinking and curious, but it also give you that sense of something that you just can’t quite grasp if that makes sense, you can take on that what you will, hopefully whatever you feel fall to be for you is something that is good and worth to be the season that it is…..

If I Was A Painter…..

Let’s do something different today…….let’s pretend we’re painters, if you were a painter what would you paint!?…….if I were to tell you what i’d paint, i’d just say that at the moment I don’t know, right now, i’m just looking at a blank canvas trying to figure that out myself………

If I had to describe what i’d want it to look like though, I don’t know, I’d probably want it to have a calm feeling of someplace that calls to me, i’d probably would use greens, maybe some blues, browns, you know colors that feel nice and calm…….

I’d want it to have a special kind of feeling, that’s slightly hard to imagine, but is also very easy to feel, something that when you think about it, it brings the biggest smile to your face and makes you happy to be there……

You know like you’re right where you should be……I want it to be a place that isn’t too hot, but where it isn’t that cold either, a place that has just the right amount of both cold and hot……..i’d love for it to rain, not too much of course, but just enough you know, wouldn’t want it to be too big of a place, but I wouldn’t want it to be too small either.

I’d like it to be a place that makes you go, this feels right and it feels good……..i’d love for there to be cafes, but i’d also love for there to be a lot of nature around, it would be nice if it had an old timey (if that’s a word) feel too it, enough where it just feels good to be around.

Have it where it has a rustic, but slightly modern look to it, not too modern though, more like an old town where you can feel the story behind it, as well as feel yourself connecting to it……….some type of village of some sort, you know!?

I don’t know, I guess if I had to paint something, i’d want it to have those kind of descriptions to it, you know a place that feels right, the moment you’re in it…….that’s a portrait i’d hang up on my wall and look at a lot.
