Up Next: Now Playing Encanto (Soundtrack)

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a good/decent day today! I don’t think this is going to be that long of post if I’m being honest, I just wanted to write some quick thoughts down of what is to be expected, now I know we have been speaking about Encanto a lot, I want to apologize about it, but I won’t because I really love the movie and when I really enjoy something I have to talk about it, plus I have yet to really give my thoughts about what my feelings are with the movie Encanto, which I will be doing soon and this time there will be spoilers coming disclaimer so keep a look out for it, in the meantime let’s talk about what’s to come!

Although I’ve spoken a bit on the movie, one of the things that I will be discussing that I have yet to give thoughts on is the soundtrack of the movie, obviously I won’t be going into detail with it here, but just know that I am excited to talk about it! If you haven’t watched the movie, definitely check it out and when you do really take in that soundtrack because it is just…..wonderful one of the best soundtracks in a Disney movie in my opinion…..it’s very different to what we normally get, but it’s still great, like I said I won’t give my full thoughts today, but what I will say is, Encanto’s soundtrack is something I feel wasn’t what everyone expected from it, until we all heard it!

I mean I can only speak for myself, but I do have a feeling that what my reaction was for the soundtrack was probably everyone else’s reaction for those that watched the movie, it could be different who knows, but regardless to the actual feelings of it with everyone else, my feeling’s with it still stays the same, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sang certain songs from the soundtrack to myself, let’s just say I pretty much know one of the songs by heart now…..not fully, but I’m almost there!

Now what can we expect when discussing the soundtrack, well I will be sharing my honest and best thought about it, what songs are my favorite, which ones I would play the most or least and when I say least that doesn’t mean I don’t like them, I’m just stating it more in a sense of what I feel I’d see myself constantly listening to each song is great in their own way, but I think we all know when we really like a song and when we know we aren’t going to be listening to them often!

Another thing to expect is I will be sharing my own interpretation of each song and what I think they could mean, be it an obvious meaning, one that can be interpreted as more metaphor based or a mix of both, one song I kind of already drew my own interpretation for, which I will share when we get to the topic, I’m also going to try something new and see if I can place to my least to top favorites again, whatever is in the least does not mean the songs are bad, I just want to see if I can create my own top 5-10, I feel that it’ll be a hard one, but I’m going to try and really place these songs to where I feel they fit best with my own top 5-10, we’ll have to see how it goes!

That’s pretty much everything, I still have yet to decide how I want to talk about the soundtrack, I most likely will write a post about it, but I also might make a podcast ep on it or do some kind of video…..not sure, but I’ll figure it out soon! That being said the movie review of it will be a podcast ep that I can’t wait for, but that’s it for this post, hope you have a good rest of the day and stay tune for my thoughts on Encanto’s soundtrack!

Now I just want to say that although this isn’t my thoughts to the soundtrack just yet, I did finally get around to recording my thoughts for the movie yesterday! There just might be a part two for it as I wasn’t able to talk about some other things that I wanted to share, but most of my thoughts are there, so if you would like to give it a listen, you can find it here!

Up Next: Encanto (Movie Thoughts Review)

Happy Monday and Happy Martin Luther King Day! It’s been an interesting start of a Monday and by interesting I mean full of unexpected surprises and not in the best of ways, with last nights weather which was a mixture of both snow and rain it got a bit flooded, but everything is under control and it wasn’t too crazy luckily! On a whole different note, it made for a good theme as the movie that I’ll be talking about in a moment has some similar vibes to it, only without the flooding…..on with the movie talk!

Now as some of you may already know, I wrote a bit about Encanto around two weeks ago I believe or close to two weeks, I didn’t exactly give my thoughts in full detail then just some small brief ones and that’s because I wanted to really sit and discuss it, I feel with movies because we’re just seeing everything happen all at once it’s not always easy to take everything in, sometimes it’s not that hard, but other times it can be a little too much!

However Encanto isn’t one of those “too much going on” kind of movies, obviously the first reaction will always be the best reaction 9/10, but sometimes you’ll have moments where it may take the 2nd or 3rd reaction that can make a moment feel right, that’s just my personal opinion though! Honestly I just wanted to re watch the movie because I enjoyed it so much the first time, it’s probably one of my favorites at the current moment, I obviously have to watch more movies (Don’t worry I have a personal watchlist….kinda) regardless I’d still consider it a personal favorite!

Although I probably could’ve talked about it the first time in full detail, I wanted to watch it again so that way I could really gather everything in and see if I felt anything new with it, I did and didn’t, the did part is I found that I was actually more emotional watching the second time then the first and the didn’t part is I felt the same way about it the first time I watched it as well as the second time! Now I will explain my thoughts on it fully sometime this week in an upcoming podcast episode, I just wanted to share a few words and let you know what to expect coming up!

I do plan/have in mind to do the soundtrack because let me tell you Encanto’s music is *chef kiss* beautiful and it deserves to be talked about, so I hope that you look forward to that as well, not sure if I want to do that as a podcast episode or if I want to write it out or maybe do something different with it, I’ll have to decide on what I want to do there, but for the meantime keep a lookout for the upcoming episode where I go a bit into depth on the movie, I am excited and look forward to getting my thoughts out on it, hopefully you guys like it once it’s done!

Up Next: Animal Crossing New Horizons Direct Thoughts

Good Morning and Happy Saturday! We have arrived to the weekend finally, I don’t know about you guys, but it felt like the week was both long and short, not sure if that makes sense, but it’s just been a week lets just say! I hope that you’re all doing okay though and that regardless to how long and short this week felt to me, I hope it was at least good for you guys!

One good thing to happen during this week though was a very special and unexpected moment which happened within the Animal Crossing Direct yesterday on the 15th of October…..if you’re not familiar or maybe you’re not into video games or just Animal Crossing you might be new to this information or you might have already heard a bit about it, but still aren’t interested which is completely alright! For those who have heard the news and are a fan of the game in someway or form, then you are quite aware of all the goodness and beautiful things that will soon be arriving to us next month!

To explain it would be hard to do, at least here anyway, I have thoughts and feelings to it all, but I need to gather them properly to be able to give them all out in the best way, although when it comes to Animal Crossing, my favorite video game series it’s hard for me to keep calm, because I just love it so much! You can’t even see me right now as I’m just sitting here writing all of this out for you guys, but if you did….you would see me still trying to process everything from yesterday’s Direct, but like I said it would be too much to explain here so, plus I haven’t even jotted everything down that will be coming soon in the game, plus other things that I happened to miss from the Direct, which was quite a handful to be fair, I’m still learning things from it lol!

So what’s going to happen!? This post is just to say what’s to come for the next post that I’ll be sharing, I used to write these kind of post before, but I haven’t done one in quite a while so I thought I’d write one today! I’ll be recording an episode upon this topic on my podcast sometime next week, I’m thinking of recording it Wednesday! There’s some other stuff that I want to talk about for Monday, plus I’ve been doing a lot of these video game announcement thoughts episode so I thought I’d switch it up and give it a bit of a break at least until Wednesday and then I’ll find something else to talk about for Friday and maybe Saturday!

I mean we are still in the spooky month and I’ve been meaning to talk about some movies and add some music topics in there to go with the Halloween season so I want to at least finish this month with those things, I’ve been switching things around lately especially during this week so I would like to get some balance in there with recording and posting on here, so keep a look out for my Animal Crossing Direct episode where I talk about everything I felt and what I’m most looking forward to with this upcoming update we’re getting because man did they give us a lot of thing in yesterday’s direct…I’m super excited for this…it should be good so stay tune!

Up Next: The Reveal Of The Final Smash Character….Thoughts and Reaction

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! Hope you’re all doing alright and although late, I hope you had a good weekend as well! Now before you think I’m about to tell you who on earth the final Super Smash character added to Ultimate is…..I just want to it to be clear that I still have to learn who it is! I’m just writing out my final thoughts before it is announced who is shall be!

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m quite excited to see who Nintendo has decided will be the final character to be approaching and added to the Super Smash Ultimate roster…..update: I hadn’t yet finished this post before I saw the reveal, I started writing this early morning, but didn’t get to quite finish! I recently just learned who the last final smash character is, now in case some of you have yet to see it….I won’t go spoiling it here, although I ended up getting spoiled on the new added character myself I’m not going to do that to anyone else…..note to self, don’t go on Twitter the day of special announcements that you’re looking forward too…..always a big mistake!

Now even though I will keep away with the spoilers here, I will reveal who it was and give my honest thoughts and reaction to what I felt when I finally saw the trailer earlier tomorrow on my podcast so if you would like to check that out, just stay tune to my thoughts on that! I know I could just tell you who it was, but before I do that, I want to make sure that I give my best thoughts to the reveal, plus I kind of already decided to have my reaction as a podcast episode anyway, hence why I’m not saying everything here!

Sorry if this is a short post, originally this was supposed to be my before thoughts to who the character was going to be before the actual reveal happened….buuut seeing that I went onto twitter forgetting that we were getting this announcement earlier today….my fun guesses are now invalid sooo this is now an update post, well slight update anyway! I’ll write another post tomorrow after I’ve recorded the episode talking about Super Smash with any other thoughts that I might’ve not said in the episode already! You guys have a good night!

Next Up….Still Alive By Alexz Johnson (Updated) With Added Thoughts

Good Afternoon and Happy Monday, hopefully it’s a good one for you all so far! I’m feeling pretty good today, I’m a lot older than I was yesterday…..still getting used to that though, but other than that, I’m feeling pretty alright, hope you all enjoyed your weekend by the way…..have I mentioned it’s now Tuesday, no!? *Writes in Tuesday* sorry about that, I tend to confuse the days….hope you’ve all been having a good day so far, my mood today is a bit less energetic compared to yesterday, but I still feel pretty okay I’d say!

So today’s topic of the day is a Now Playing as you can see up there in the title, at least that’s what it was supposed to be, I think I’m going to move this post to a different day so it matches with the podcast episode that I want to re record! I’ve been doing a lot of these lately, that being due to the fact that there’s a lot of artists that I like talking about…..originally I had this in mind as a Podcast episode where I’d go over the track list and give my best thoughts about it and I’ve done that…..only it turned into an hour long episode and I didn’t feel like anyone would want to listen to me talk for an hour, plus I wasn’t able to really share it on the day of the anniversary like I wanted…..there’s some reasons there, but I’m not going to get into that, personal stuff!

So I went ahead and recorded it again to see if I’d be able to have it be less of a long episode which I did manage…..but I kinda want to do it over again because I want to get it right, not saying the first two ones weren’t good I just feel like I could do better with it so because I missed both the anniversary upload I wanted originally to do and missed my first Monday episode upload….I’m going to try my hand at it again tomorrow and possibly have it scheduled for either Friday or Saturday! Friday seeing as though she released the album on a Friday last year on the 8th of May, only instead of the 8th it’ll be the 14th…..and Saturday being because she had a listening party for the album, buut it was on the 15th of April….that I didn’t know,

I was there for the listening party, but I forgot that she did it in April…..however because it’s the 15th this Saturday and this past Saturday was the 8th, the day the album was released….I’m probably going to lean more toward Saturday in posting it, even though it’s already a year since the albums release, but it’ll be a year and a 1 week so I feel like it’ll still counts, plus 5 is my lucky number, I like to think of it to be lucky anyway, so the 15th is looking like the choice and winner here! I also kinda had something I was going to try my hand at on Friday, even though technically the topic I have in mind was an April thing that I had no clue about until April was pretty much over…..

but the day being the 14th still in a way makes it count and that’s the story I’m sticking with alright, I’m still thinking on that one though, but I might just do it, so stay tune for all of that! That’s pretty much all I got for this post, keep a look out for my album thoughts on Alexz Johnson’s Still Alive album coming to you guys this weekend and whatever I have for you guys this Friday!

Up Next On The Now Playing List: Ashley Tisdale (Symptoms Album)

While I wait a bit for a good time to record a video, i’m waiting for it to get a little more quiet, right now it’s on and off on the noisy scale so i’ve still yet to record, but in the meantime, I thought i’d write a post on what’s to be discussed soon, as you can probably already guess, we will be doing another album review, but this time we are going to be expressing some thoughts on Ashley Tisdale’s latest album titled Symptoms.

Now this album came out last year, in early May (May 3rd to be exact) which might add is literally around the corner so I thought why not talk about it on the day of it’s release!! As you can see there’s a theme going where i’m just now listening to songs after it’s been out for a while….

Now I actually was going to talk about this earlier, but when I planned it, I was curious to when the album actually came out and I learned that there was still a bit of time before a year came up with album and so I thought, yeah….let’s do this on the anniversary of it which is Sunday so…..

I’m not really sure what these songs on the album will sound like, I feel it’s going to be pretty deep and that there’s going to be a lot to it, I remember Ashley talking about the album around the time it was either going to be released or was already released and she talked about all that was put into it and just how much this album means to her and so i’m looking forward to really hearing what emotions she’s laid out with this album as well as just how the songs will unfold, there’s 9 tracks on it, i’ve looked a few times

To make sure, I was trying to see if I could record while listening to it, don’t think that’s going to happen because it’s about 25 mins the whole album and i’ve only got around 21 mins on my camera so, i’m most likely just going to do it how I did it last time when I talked about the Jonas Brothers latest album Happiness Begins, plus it might be better like that anyway!!

In case you case you don’t remember or you haven’t read it, I actually reviewed, well gave some thoughts on one of Ashley’s songs already which is on the album, called Voices In My Head (if you want to check that out)

So with that song, I might have the same thoughts to it that I did before, it might change in some way, not in the case of not liking it, because it’s actually one of my favorite songs, just add on’s pretty much, as for the other songs, I have yet to hear them so I don’t know what i’m going to feel until i’ve listened to them……i’m kinda curious though, because every time I listen to an Ashley Tisdale album, there’s always 1 song that I end up not liking for some reason, on Headstrong it was Goin’ Crazy and on Guilty Pleasure it was a song called Hair…..i’m not sure if that’s going to continue,

but i’m going to keep positive on this one and just see if it can break that chain and seeing as there’s only 9 songs on this album, i’m going to have to like majority of it, for me to get the album….that being said however,

I actually just learned that Symptoms is a digital only album…….I don’t know why, but taking that into consideration……I don’t think it matters on how many songs I like now, because i’ll just be favoriting the ones I do end up liking on my Spotify!! I’m still going to keep positive on it though, I kinda want Symptoms to break the not liking 1 song on an Ashley Tisdale album not that it changes anything, I probably would’ve still gotten it anyway,

but I don’t know I just want to see if I can like this whole album without 1 being a dislike so we’ll see when I check it out soon…..but that’s all for this post, I feel this is longer than my up next about the Jonas brothers, but I guess I just had more to say with this one. Up Next On The Now Playing List: Jonas Brothers (Happiness Begins Album)

I was going to wait for Wednesday to start writing this post, but I thought i’d start a little early…..although i’ve just realized that I would’ve only had to wait a day to write this post seeing as Wednesday’s tomorrow, almost forgot it was Tuesday……anyway, even though i’m writing this post now, you’re probably not going to see this until a little later, i’m thinking sometime Thursday or Friday, reason being is that, i’ve got something that I want to try and i’m sure by the title you’ll know what i’m talking about!!

If not well, i’m going to be listening to one of my all time favorite bands, The Jonas Brothers as the title displays and their latest album Happiness Begins, as i’m listening to it, i’ll be writing down my thoughts to each song on the album so I guess reviewing it in my own way, but it’s going to be different, i’m just going to let things flow and see what comes out of it, pretty excited!!

Now this album came out last year during the summer of June, however the Jonas Brothers made a comeback as a reunited band back early this month of last year, originally I was going to write about their return and I ended up not writing about it……I don’t know why I didn’t, seeing as they were and still are one of my favorite bands you’d think i’d be over the moon about it!?

I was by the way, made sure to mention it any chance I got, but I should’ve shared my excitement on here that day, however that is where this post comes in even though everyone knows the Jonas Brothers are back and making music together again, I feel it’s time to give them a proper welcome even if it’s a year late you know!? Better late then never right!? You get it!!

Now I haven’t quite heard their stuff properly yet…..well unless you count the times where their song Sucker (their comeback single) played everywhere I went naturally, I did my very best to avoid it, but I felt like it just kept following me so i’ve heard that song, however I haven’t actually sat and listened to the song properly so even though it’s going to feel familiar…..

There’s still stuff within the song slightly new to where it’ll feel like i’m just listening to it for the first time, if that makes sense!? Overall though i’m pretty excited to finally sit and listen to these songs and album and really truly embrace the return of the Jonas Brothers, because i’ve missed them and i’m really happy to know that their back and are brothers again, not that they weren’t ever brothers to begin with, but…..you know what I mean.

Stay tune for my thoughts on their album Happiness Begins as well as more thoughts about their return and anything else that comes with it!!

P.S. I had an idea, instead of waiting for Thursday or Friday to see this post, i’ll be sharing it once i’ve finished writing it, reason!? Just thought of a new category for these type of post and i’m excited, even though, i’m literally just adding another category to my blog…..but still, excited!! Did I already mention that!? ahhh one more doesn’t hurt, i’m really looking forward to this!!
